Locally owned and/or family-owned business have almost disappeared in this sector. (This one and one in Oakland seem to be the only ones remaining.) ECO is a genuine family-owned business. I needed a side mirror for my 2005 Prius and they even had the color matching my car. I ended up getting the mirror, a replacement interior door panel, a center console door, and a speaker (to replace a rattling one). They even helped me install the mirror on-site (I didn't ask)! Backstory: Both father and son work here. The business has been existence for at least 20+ years. The father came from Afghanistan to study here before the Soviets, the Taliban, and the Americans arrived in that country. Both have engineering degrees (one, in aeronautics) and both decided that working in their own business was really what they wanted to do. I own a one-person electrical contracting business and have learned over the years that personal recommendations, integrity, and referrals are worth at least 10x an online review. That being said, this yelp review is apparently their first or second online review. They have been in business for over 20 years, and clearly do not a yelp review. The one caveat: They're located in American Canyon (near Napa)--a long, long, way for East Bay folks to travel. After a phone conversation and a 45+ minute ride, I conclude they were well worth the excursion. Might as well go visit wine country while you're at it :-).
