I feel like this spot along with the Ferry Building in SF ushered in the popularity of this model of this type of market - at least in California. Depending on where you go or eat, service is going to vary, but I've always interacted with wonderful folks here. I've been here a few times now with 3/2026 being my most recent visit. We came here to pick up some items for breakfast in the coming week and walked/looked around for some fun small bites. With 20 plus vendors along with the surrounding businesses and restaurants, this is just a fun place to visit whenever you're in the Napa area. I unfortunately had to watch my alcoholic beverage intake because I was driving, but it would be great to try a few of the many available options of wine offered at the vendors. Parking: there's a pretty large lot and there's a lot of parking long the street in the surrounding area, but parking can still be a bit hectic due to the popularity of this spot.

They offer fresh produce, pantry items, raw meat and seafood on one side of the store and the opposite side they offer deli meats, fresh salads, sandwiches made to order, hot food and a variety of togo options. The market is not that big inside but it is very clean, beautifully organized and their employees are very nice. It makes the experience just a little more enjoyable. I haven't been here before and I originally came for the wild wonder drinks, but I found myself to try their fresh sourdough bread and fresh salads. Definitely a little more expensive than your typical grocery stores around town but it is worth the visit.

The service was welcoming and kind, and I loved the windows and wood accents inside which made for a nice relaxing atmosphere - it was a beautiful day outside so I sat at one of the many small foldable chairs/tables outside. The offer adorable plates for pastries to enjoy there. I got a lemon verbena pastry, and a fig leaf latte. I like that their offerings are a bit unique, and the pastry was delicate, tasty, though a little less crisp that I'd like - perhaps because it was later in the day? The fig leaf latte was also tasty - though I couldnt really taste a big difference between the fig leaf syrup and vanilla - it seemed to be missing a little something to really bring out the fig leaf flavor. Overall, a cute little cafe to grab a pastry and coffee at, and I'd like to come back earlier in the day to try some of the other pastries! A little pricier than some of the other pastries in the area, but they're definitely a little more elevated here :)

He was attentive without being overbearing, informative on the menu, and very dialed into my mom's special food concerns. The dishes we had were also top shelf. The kitchen knows what it's doing and the menu is authentic to southern Italy with a focus on seafood options, but many others to choose from as well. We had one of their crafted, mock tails, each, very tasty and refreshing. Interestingly, there are no mocktails on the venue, but just ask and they'll make you one from scratch :-) The restaurant is small and intimate, but also fairly loud when it's full. It's not offputting in my case, but something to keep in mind if you go there for deep conversations with your company. They have an outdoor dining option also which may be better if you have hearing issues. All in all, I highly recommend this restaurant.

I subscribed to their emails and recently got the important news that their new store opened on Main Street and only a few blocks away from the Napa farmer's market. The store is very modern with wood floors, large windows and lots of light. They don't carry all the beans online but they do carry a good amount. I got some special black beans (Frigik Negro de Vara), very pretty green split peas and a new rare variety that goes bad fast (Flor De Junio bean) and a special fresh tumeric spice (see photos). I'm excited to try the new items. It is nice that they have dried Porcini mushrooms and morel mushrooms you can use in their bean soup. The porcini mushrooms are the brand that Rancho Gordo recommends and you can get 1.43 Oz for $19. They have interesting high quality spices and I bought a tumeric. They had samples of cooked beans.
