The food and drinks were average at best and over-priced. Service was awful. Beware of higher-priced items wrongly charged on the bill.

Service needs improvement…read more We went to this tavern to watch the World Cup soccer game. I was with a party at four and our dog. We sat out on the patio, which was dog friendly, which was very nice My gripe is that the service was rather slow, and the server wasn't very friendly. The kicker was we were ordering off the happy hour menu, which goes until 6 PM, and around 5:30 we asked the server if he would come back in about 15 minutes so that we can get our last order in before 6 PM He came back at 5:55 and we ordered a few more things from the happy hour menu and he said "happy hour is over, you can no longer order off the happy hour menu." I asked him "how can that be? It's still 5:55. The menu clearly states that happy hour goes until 6 PM plus we asked you 30 minutes ago if you can come back in 15 minutes and you said yes." He said he was told that happy hour is over and he can't take any more happy hour orders I told him to ask his boss or whoever told him that to come over and explain it to us He said the owner told him that I asked him please have the owner come over and explain that to us He went over and talked to the owner and then came back and said I can take your happy hour orders But that's just uncalled for you. They have a happy hour to attract business and they need to honor it. If it's 'till 6 o'clock they gotta take happy orders 'till 6 o'clock. Cutting people off five minutes early just results in upset customers. It's poor way to run a business. Other than that, the place is OK Food was all right, nothing to write home about. I won't be coming back.

It makes you want to come back. Now to the food I have eaten lobster Mac and cheese at several restaurants but NONE compare to this. This was by far the absolute best lobster Mac and cheese I've ever had. The lobster is seasoned, they used three different cheeses, and it had the right amount of crunch around the edges of the Mac and cheese. My steak was pretty good as well but the lobster Mac and cheese stole the show. Let me also mention that the whiskey bread pudding was an excellent choice for dessert. I had a scoop of ice cream on top of the bread pudding which was certainly the right choice.

For cocktails my mom ordered a new Mom and drop martini and I ordered a 12 mile reset. We both got the steak. I got the mushrooms and my mom got the potatoes. For her being her 65th birthday this was absolutely amazing and I'm so glad the Cole's chophouse could accommodate so quickly. She had an unbelievable birthday and I greatly appreciate everyone in the staff and hostess. The ambience of Cole chophouse is an upscale laid-back steakhouse with surf and turf options. I highly recommend coming here. Our servers name is- Brian and he was absolutely phenomenal in serving and attending to our table at everything we needed and wanted for our evening. He is the epitome of fantastic service and fantastic ambience. 10/10

It had delicately…read moresliced cucumbers and onions on it, my personal fav veggies to pair with my occasional tuna sandwich. Delicious! My partner got the patatas bravas with his salmon. So crispy and garlicky! And, the kitchen (plus our amazing server Gustavo!!) was kind enough to make a custom pesto cavatelli for me because I didn't want the cavatelli with morel mushrooms! I will be thinking about the texture of this pasta + the pistachio pesto for a long time. They kept the corn pudding of the original dish at the bottom and it was such a good combination of flavors. I got chicken added on top. I got an espresso martini with gin; pretty good, just wished there was a bit more espresso flavor. Probably would order one of their house cocktails instead next time. Lastly we had the stone fruit cobbler with ice cream and a pine nut/pistachio brittle. Unlike any other cobbler I've ever had. Perfection of different textures. Also, we had the duck fat fries on another day; they were delightfully crispy and lightly seasoned with garlic. The ranch it came with was so yummy and definitely dill-forward. I'd definitely come back! Thank you for your hospitality.

Just finished a 4 course dinner. It was mostly delicious successes and just one failure…read more The burrata salad was fresh, flavorful. The cheese portion was kind'a skimpy. The Parker house rolls looked a lot more impressive than they tasted. Over salted on top. Airy texture inside but weirdly chewy in a Wonder bread goopy way. Not a pleasing mouth feel. After just 15 minutes on our table they were stale. Bambie ordered salmon. Nice hunk, probably 7 ounces. Pink and fleshy. Moist. Gently cooked. Sides were garden fresh vegetables. I ate the 1/2 chicken. Airline cut. It was a little pullet, maybe 6 ounces. Cooked well. The spicy red sauce that was under the bird was outstanding. I'd be perfectly happy to have a plate of spaghetti with this sauce. The crunchy fingerling potatoes were fun at first, but as the meal went on I couldn't finish them. They were too oily and too salty. Dessert was the recommended cheesecake. Righteous. The exterior of the big slice had a mild Crème brûlée texture and the cake itself was a heavenly cloud. The poached strawberries were the perfect accompaniment. So, is this a 5 star meal & experience? No. i put it in the casual sort'a fine dining box. Last night I ate at The Girl and the Fig on the Sonoma town square. That meal was much more delicious for significantly less money. Tourists who are overly impressed with Michael Mina will be happy here. Locals like me who grew up eating at Sondra Bernstein's several restaurants over the years will be even happier.

Cooked to medium rare perfection and delicious chimichurri. The steak was properly seasoned and the chimichurri added a nice herby spice. The fries were cooked just right and were gone in seconds. My other favorite was the pear vinegrette salad with peanuts. It was fresh, slightly sweet and the peanuts gave little bit of salty texture. Great accompaniment with any dish. Service: Our service was excellent. The servers worked as a team and covered our needs well. Kept our water filled and gave us new utensils without even asking. The severs were all dressed chefs wear and looked very cool imo. Everyone has a neat and buttoned down appearance. They all had smiles which is a huge plus. Ambiance: The inside looked like were inside a barrel. The ceiling were rounded in a medium colored wood with dark metal curved beams. The room was dark like barrel room of a winery but still had plenty of light at the tables. It feels nice and cool on a hot day. Also the outdoor bar and seating looked inviting. The Koi's on the fountain were cool too.

They came around to give us a second round of crostini since we ran out and we didn't have to request for it. They must get a lot of requests of the extra crostini to enjoy and finish the mousse entirely! Steak tartare to savor over as well as their pickled caperberries, offered something different to cornichons and complimented well with the steak tartare. Duck confit was to be delved into! They know how to make the duck confit still juicy and tender! I adore the corn ragout, pickled alliums, squash and sweet peppers all mixed together and laid underneath the duck confit. It's a unique dish and a signature entree one must order! I haven't tasted anything like this before. Their iron steak could be replaced with something else. I do like their frites on this entree but they could have upped their game by providing gratin instead (which they have on their menu only as a side) with the steak. Adored their gratin. Overall warm dining atmosphere, quaint vibes and quality, attention to detail, French bites being served here!
