    Katsu Chicken Curry Ramen

What can we say? Service is ok. Decor is a left over from PF Chang... disappointed that not much change. Food is below average for a morimoto. Ramen soup is definitely not tonkatsu... the noodles are subpar; egg fell apart... the curry noodle set is a tad better & acceptable. Not coming back.

Got to come celebrate Valentine's Day here! My boyfriend made a reservation, which was a bit confusing. Make sure you keep note of where you reserve because we thought our reservation was at Morimoto Napa (sushi). We had to go to both restaurants. On the sunnier side, this location has the waterfront and nice ambiance. Our visit was somewhat underwhelming. We had to still wait 10-15 minutes to be seated even with a reservation and flag down a waiter just to order...Felt #forgotten sitting outside. Our hostess did offer a glass of champagne on the house because of that wait, so we really appreciated that. Seems like we had a great time sipping more so eating. The menu here is Asian Fusion with duck tacos and your classic xiao long bao (soup dumplings). We opted for the Chicken Karaage, Tonkotsu Ramen, and Handrolls at $8-$9 each (tempura, tuna, and salmon). For drinks, we got the sake, hot special brewed black tea, and Ajia Iced Tea (mango syrup in fresh brewed tea and Calpico). The food was decent, but not amazing for Asian food. The Salmon and Tuna Handrolls were fresh and tasty. The tonkotsu had chicken breast instead of chashu pork and it was really dry, but good broth flavor. I was more impressed by how delicious their drinks were like that Ajia mocktail and fresh black tea was like liquid golddddd. Not sure if I'd come back to this location. But, I appreciate the staff for acknowledging the longer service times and the general manager for communicating with us.

Terrible service! We saw our waiter once - when he took our order. I then had to literally look for him in order to pay our bill. The food was not worth the price - no flavor. I will also add it was not busy at all! I do not recommend.

The service level at this place is just ok. The food is average at best. The spot is nicely decorated and comfortable but overall it's not a restaurant worth a second visit. There were many opportunities where the service could have been better. The food came out in an odd order with my wife's items all reaching the table before any of mine. Just weird. The server didn't offer things like hot sauce, and was just going through the motions. She wasn't bad but not deserving a generous tip. The food was uninspired. Everything that should have been crispy except the duck tacos was rubbery. The sauces were all wrong. The walnut "prawns" tasted like lemon shrimp with not sweetness and too much mayo. The noodles tasted like only like soy sauce. The highlight was the duck taco, the spicy tuna roll and the egg drop soup.

Being a fan of Morimoto Napa and Morimoto, The Master, I've been wanting to try this place, but it's so hard to choose to eat here when one of my favorite restaurants (Morimoto Napa) is just a few doors down. It was surprisingly easy to grab a table for a late lunch on a Saturday. We sat outside so we had a beautiful view and our server was attentive- no complaints. My favorites were the Peking Duck, Cod, Chili Chili Crispy Chicken and Spicy Eggplant but everything else missed the mark. Probably won't be back. Nothing was bad, it just didn't hit the spot for good Asian food. Disappointed because I expected more.

Service was amazing, and very attentive. 5 stars Food was a disappointment, very basic, nothing out of the ordinary, 3 stars. The desserts were okay, nothing that made .

This may have been the worst meal of my life. I am sorry to be so brutal about my meal, but this was essentially PF Chang's but much worse quality at much higher prices and much smaller portions. I advise to avoid at all costs!! The 2 dishes in our photos was $41 total before tax and tip. Food: Bad quality, abhorrently small portions, tasted like salt on salt. The xiao long bao was whatever and felt like they were simply microwave heated from a pre-packaging. The house fried rice was ridiculously small (it's literally rice with a few frozen vegetables). Service: Good. No issues Atmosphere: Fine but a bunch of spider webs on the outdoor tables and chairs

This is a beautiful restaurant, but I felt some negativity from the host when we first came in. The restaurant wasn't packed, but the host did give my family a little attitude when sitting us down. Our server was actually really nice. This being Morimotos, I knew this was going to be expensive. For the price you pay, I definitely feel you should get a little more the what they serve. Probably never going back to this place again unless I make a reservation in advance.

Wanting something warm on a cool midweek day, we decided to try the casual cousin of Morimoto's restaurant located on the same street. Arriving around 1 pm, we were seated and ordered the Duck and traditional Tonkatsu ramen along with a lychee martini. Both were good but my wife informed me that her broth was slightly saltier in the Duck ramen. Overall no complaints with great service by the young Vietnamese American Female server working that day.

We came here for dinner because it didn't require a reservation. The food was generally very good but pricey for the quantity. We got the duck tacos which was extremely overpriced for 2 small tacos. They were good but not amazing. I would not get them again. I got the duck ramen which was very good but only had a few small slices of duck. Our server was friendly and attentive. Finally there are only 2 ladies toilets. One was out of order so there was a line of ladies needing to desperately pee. Overall we had a good time but given the choice and with better planning I'd rather go somewhere else.

This was a nice, easy spot for a casual dinner! We had the dim sum sampler and the honey walnut shrimp. The shrimp were truly the best I've had.. and they were HUGE! So good, I'd come back just for these. Overall the food was average besides - the dim sum sampler was a nice way to try a little bit of everything, but it was all pretty average. The service was super slow at first, we sat at our table for about 20 minutes without being approached. We almost left, but once we were approached we had good service and things moved quickly! I'd come back for a casual, easy spot - although for something more impressive, I'd go down the street to the fancier Morimoto.

Today, I'm in Napa again. It feels good to be back in Wine Country. It's kinda gusty today, but it's a beautiful day to be out here. I see this spot all the time, everytime I'm in Downtown Napa. I've been meaning to do this a long time. And today is the day, I check-it-out. I'm here at Morimoto's other, and second location right in Napa this Friday evening. This is my 3rd time being at this Chef's establishment. This completes the circle of life. I didn't expect it to look like this in here, it's slightly Upscale, spacious, I really like the High ceilings, Architecture, Design, and it's modern, clean, and fresh. Today, I'm going to Duck it out. I went with the fresh Duck Ramen ラーメン, but I also had to get it with the Duck Tacos this time, that's another double whammy. Everything is made out of Duck. And it changes seasonally, but this Ramen happen to be off the Menu, they made this for me today, Limited time or Run. The Broth was out of this world, deep, savory, packed with flavor, and the Noodles were cooked just right. And Wow, the Tacos were phenomenal, what an awesome take, this was one of the best Tacos I ever had so far, believe it or not. I gotta give them some points, for orginality. And I can't forget about, their own crafted tea in Japan, that's very interesting, how it's crafted in Japan. It was spectacular, cool place to hangout, and I liked the atmosphere, it was very pleasant. I give this 4.6/4.7 out of 5 stars. That's a high score. I'm satisfied.

I liked the morimoto that has japanese food so I decided to give this place a try. Our server Richard was really nice. I just didn't like the food that much. I ordered the duck and asked if I could get it with bao instead of tortillas but that wasn't an option. The duck came with a hot stone just in case you wanted to make the skin extra crispy. It came with pico de gallo, hoisin sauce, and some sauce that was supposed to have apricot. It was a weird combo to me. I think because I kept thinking the apricot sauce was basically lumpia sauce. The dumpling sampler was solid but just came with five pieces and was pricey. My brother ordered the thai basil fried rice. It had ground beef, egg, spicy thai basil sauce, and fried garlic. The egg was good but I think the rice had too much going on at once and tasted over seasoned. Overall the food wasn't terrible but the mix of flavors didn't complement each other in my opinion. The ambiance is nice of course. It's on the corner of the riverwalk area. Our server richard mentioned the restaurant turns into a club at night and they have karaoke nights.

I started with the Wabi Sabi which was as interesting as it sounded. While I didn't pick up on fennel, you do pick up on the wasabi, but in the most subtle of ways. Think maybe lime/ginger sparkling water with just a hint of spice. Refreshing and different for sure. I also tried the Mucha Lucha w/ cilantro infused Siete Leguas Blanco, chorizo infused mezcal and cubes made of hot sauce that make the drink have a bit more of a kick as you allow them to melt. I did the HH chips and guac which was also accompanied with a tasty Chipotle sauce. Damn good actually. It'd be excellent served in a variety of ways. The deviled eggs aren't going to blow your mind, but I like that you get 4 different ones- and simply because I love eggs, I'd order them again. (They just wouldn't be a dish that brings me back). The bartender was great- helpful and attentive, even as more people began to filter in for an early afternoon. I'll definitely be back next time I'm in Napa to check out some other menu options.

For round two, the Bee's Sneeze is another solid choice. I paired my drinks with the lobster roll, which was the standout food item of my visit. The bun was light, fluffy, and perfectly toasted. While the lobster salad wasn't the best I've ever had, it was a very solid bite for a dive-lounge-style bar. I'd skip the chips it comes with, but the fries are absolutely worth ordering. One small service hiccup worth mentioning: the fries are listed as coming with a herb aioli, but mine arrived with ketchup. When I asked about the aioli, my server initially tried to play it off before eventually sharing that they were out. Not a dealbreaker by any means, but it was an odd interaction that could have been handled more directly. The atmosphere is a dark, casual lounge with a cozy hole-in-the-wall feel along the river. The reason being is just because these have been the more unique ones that I've been really enjoying. The Manta Ray is more tropical than one might think. However it's tropical with a bit of funk. The combination of the Gin, Falernum, and Sauv Blanc Syrup really add to the complexity. The other drink I really like is the Sanfroyosko. If you are a Mai Tai lover, this is the one to try. The substitution of the typical tums with the Shochu, Sake and Pisco add even more of a Wine and floral flavor profile to the drink. On top of that the Sesame Orgeat gives and even more nuttier flavor than normal. But despite all these flavors going on, it still kinda tastes like a Mai Tai. The service has always been amazing. Every person who has served us has served us with a smile. But even despite how friendly they are, there still remains this sense of professionalism with their interactions. They check in at the perfect times. They ask how we are enjoying everything and share their favorite things to drink/eat. With the amazing tiki decor and island music, you really do feel like you are on an Island anytime you eat here.

Let me break down how everything faired The location for this spot is easily accessible and it does stick out from the other restaurants, so kudos points on location and presentation for the restaurant. So here is the sad part the food was not up to par. Here is everything we sampled Spam fries - breaded and deep fried, placed in a spam can for presentation, it was piping hot, slight crunch for anyone that has not sampled this before let us just say it is different good deep fried pickles - if I see this on the menu I try it wherever it is offered, the pickles did not have a snap, tasted old, dipping sauce on side was ok but the pickles sadly did not taste fresh natsubi - fancy musubi with spam just added furikake and drizzled with sauce on the smaller side but it was decent smash burger - made with two patties regular hamburger bun, not sure why but both patties were dry and overly burnt, less then a 3rd of the burger was finished by my son saying they messed this up bad, my daughter ordered same thing had less then a bite saying it was to burnt to eat wife had the teriyaki salmon plate, for the most part had a nice glaze and tasted good my kids who really don't like fish picked off my wifes plate both saying it was good we ordered several drinks to wash down all their dislikes lol for the kids non-alcoholic and for us alcoholic Manta Ray - several alcohols in this drink it was strong and good, definitely order this Ube-Bae-Baby - pineapple, coconut, ube this was made well I would order this again Banana Dreams - banana, grapefruit, lime, pineapple this was also flavorful I would order this again Pagan Ritual - i could taste the rum but not sure what else was added but I would also order this again of the 4 drinks the presentation of the manta ray and pagan ritual were really well done, put those on your instagram feed again for the food I would not eat here again but for the drinks, ambiance and liveliness of the place definitely a place you want to experience for yourself food ** pass on the food price $$$ service ***** top notch service, helpful staff, friendly staff ambiance ***** been to my share of tiki bars location for this one is spot on, it was open and very visible based on looks alone from other restaurants in the area

Steak frites: steak was meh but perfect medium rare. Fries were deliciously crispy for steak fries 2. Fried chicken sandwhich: very mid 3. Chicken wings: I did dry rub with the sauces on the side. I liked the ranch with the umami, but im not a fan of the smoked chicken. 4. Burrata: mid 5. Poke tostadas: best thing I've had on their menu and they don't have it anymore. I wanted to cry when they told me 6. Salted caramel pudding with shortbread pieces and macadamia nuts, hold the nuts: absolutely delicious dessert, very sweet! 7. Smash burger: pretty good. I'd get two patties next time Drinks 1. Float the River: hold the grapefruit. It was boozy s as heck 2. Dirty Shirley: decent 3. Cucumber drink: This was an off menu drink they used to make for me and then stopped making it. Maybe they ran out of cucumber? Idk. But bring them back! Wow I really been coming here for a minute. Love the vibes. Great spot to watch the World Cup games. They welcome dogs. Sometimes they bring my pup treats, sometimes not. I appreciate when they do.

From the outside it doesn't look like a garden or even a beer garden but this place is a full on sports bar. The US mens national team was playing at noon for the world cup but we showed up at 10:30 am. The owner told us he was stressed because the whole place was reserved and packed for the game which wasn't very welcoming. The servers looked extremely busy so we kept having to ask whoever ran by for something we needed. The food, thankfully , was spectacular. I had the biscuit breakfast sandwich no cheese with sausage and I wish I could have fit another in my stomach. The biscuit was huge and flaky and tender and the eggs were fluffy. I shared it with my kid with a side of tots and it was scrumptious. I asked for the aioli on the side but it was lemony with a spicy kick. I hadn't had something like that but it was a nice fresh creamy taste with the tots and sandwich.
