    Simply Salmon Salad
    Cliff N.

Here is my salmon salad that is always a pleaser! For lunch or dinner, this salad is fresh, light refreshing and the salmon was delicious, moist and full of flavor but not undercooked either!

French dip. They dropped a fry in the horse radish sauce before delivering it to me.

The food here is just not good. There are so many simple dishes that can be done well but hop creek fails miserably. I believe the most common complaint about french dip sandwiches is the consimme broth is too salty. At hop creek there is no salt on anything. It's as though they live in an age where salt has not been invented. Salt is life folks. Beer selection is ok. Service was good.

We had a reservation for a Saturday at 5 pm and were seated right away. I'm glad we had a reservation because the place seemed to fill up fast!! Our waiter was great and quick! Food came out fast and as ordered. No complaints!

No beautiful pictures today but but but... the experience was fantastic! Food - burgers were excellent - juicy and well done; garlic fries are good - with real garlic not just salt. Battered cod was perfect, not greasy at all, poke was fresh and tasty. Desserts were interesting and surprisingly good. Great service! Our server was spectacular. Pleasant always smiling. Love it when they don't write it down but remembers everything. Prices are very reasonable. Everything under $20. We were running away from places serving food for $50-100 per person. The funny part is - I normally will take pictures of the food before we eat. But I'm guessing we were all anxious and hungry that I forgot to take photos of the food. The company was great too - late lunching with dear friends.

My husband and I were in Napa and wanted to try Hop Creek for the first time for my birthday dinner. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It was dark when we arrived and the shopping plaza that its located it was not well lit. We parked and got out, not sure if we were in the correct place but finally saw the sign. We almost did not continue to look for the restaurant because of the minimal lighting and confusion as to where the actual restaurant was at.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I am glad we did continue to the restaurant as we walked in, the employees were nice. The restaurant was busy but we were seated fairly quickly to the patio area we requested. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It was so nice and spacious with lots of heating lamps, beautiful greenery and lovely lights. I was so happy we decided to eat outside.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Our waitress was absolutely a doll and was very helpful. We decided to just get some appetizers as we had a very large and late lunch. We chose the fried pickles to start out with. My husband chose the chicken bacon flatbread with the ranch and bacon on the side, and I chose the combo flatbread. [[HIGHLIGHT]]As we were waiting on our food, we just enjoyed how peaceful the patio was. It was a chilly night but the heating lamps helped keep us comfortable.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] When we got the pickle fries, my husband pointed out the dip. It was supposed to be cucumber ranch dressing, but it tasted more like dill ranch. Either way it was very good with the pickle fries. We both enjoyed our flatbread pizza. My husband really enjoyed the cheese option that was used and I liked that they was a good amount of toppings on both. They also gave me a complimentary dessert that was so big and tasted amazing! We definitely want to come back, and try the main menu, not just the appetizers. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I do suggest maybe more lighting and more obvious signage as to not confuse the people who have never eaten here.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] All the employees were very nice and attentive. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant was very clean and I loved the decorations![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

I never have a bad experience at Hop Creek. It is a local joint out of the way meaning not many tourists know about it. I always sit at the bar. I always have good drinks and good conversation. Highly recommend.

Came here with my dad to celebrate his 63rd birthday, and everything was on point. We started with the Ahi Tuna appetizer -- fresh and flavorful. I had the Western Burger with pepper jack (juicy and full of flavor), and my dad had the fried cod, which he really enjoyed. What really made the night was the staff. Whayett, Clara, Josh, Ruby, Courtney, Melissa, Owen, and Mike all helped us out and made sure everything was smooth. [[HIGHLIGHT]]They even let our dog hang out with us on the patio, which meant a lot.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Great food, friendly service, and they made my dad's birthday feel special. We'll definitely be coming back.

Never disappoints. We are locals and it's our go to place. We don't live far when you don't wanna cook. I always recommend them to people coming from out of town when I drive groups staying downtown

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Popped in to celebrate my husband's birthday and scored seating on the patio. It's lovely for the warm Napa evenings as the sunset cools everything down.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Service was fast, attentive, and food was delicious. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We enjoyed a few cocktails and there was plenty of room for my son to play near our table.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Again, this is a local spot, tucked away and honestly, just a great place to get off the beaten path. Shout out to Joshua for AMAZING service and just being a great person. We'll be back!

    Fried Dill Pickles

Five Stars for Hop Creek -- Pub of Champions and Pickle Wizards If pub food had a hall of fame, Hop Creek would be inducted with a standing ovation and a deep-fried dill pickle tossed into the crowd. Those crispy little brined beauties were so good we briefly debated switching careers to full-time pickle critics. The Brewsed Black and Bleu burger? A glorious tower of bold flavor, beefy bravado, and bleu cheese sass. It punched our tastebuds in the best possible way and left us emotionally bonded to our napkins. And let's talk about the Classic Reuben on marble rye. If sandwiches could write poetry, this one would've penned a heartfelt sonnet about melted Swiss and sauerkraut destiny. Rich, tangy, toasted perfection. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Atmosphere was laid-back and lively--the kind of place where you feel equally at home sipping a local brew or making loud declarations about your new sandwich-based religion.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We'll be back. Probably wearing shirts that say "Team Pickle." No regrets.

Melisa are wonderful server. Merry Christmas

The pickle jar had a few pieces of pickles in it and they tasted old. They weren't replenishing them. The burgers were not that great. Nothing we had was worth the price you pay.
