    Pad Thai w/chicken
    David Z.

There is a small parking lot in the back of the building with access to the restaurant through a door and stairs vice front access. Quickly seated by friendly staff. Comfortable dining area and was seated at table next to fire place which was nice on a cold night. There is bar seating available as well. Gyoza was a bit greasy vice steamed and lackluster in taste . Pad thai with chicken was good, but was a little low on the flavor and punch scale for me. Good atmosphere for a quick sit down meal with family or friends!

Just riding down the street and saw this restaurant and my family went in to check it out. The inside was super cozy, they had the fireplace going and had a nice home feel to the place. The service was OK. The lady forgot my child's ice cream. We just didn't make a big deal about it. I ordered the curry with potatoes. It was very good. The spice level was just right. Look forward to going back and trying a higher spice level next time the flavored water was a nice touch and they have a nice well stock bar with a lot of different options. Everybody's food came out good nobody had any complaints. Definitely look forward to trying this place again in the future.

We were visiting Newport and had dinner at NaPha Thai, which was very close to our AirBNB. We started with lychee martinis - they were fine, not very strong though. We then split the Tom Yum chicken soup, stir fry chicken with cashew nuts, and pad see ew noodles. All was good, but I would say priced a bit higher than I would expect for the location and ambiance. Service was spotty - we were not checked on often. However, I appreciate this small restaurant being available and providing a decent dinner.

The service was prompt and respectful, the restaurant atmosphere felt like it brought some of Thailand's culture to Rhode Island, and the food was amazing! The Pad Thai was perfectly made, and they don't play when it comes to spice! after my mouth was doused in fire, the Mango Sticky Rice was exactly what i needed to calm it down! 10/10, will recommend again!

Crispy duck curry is the best here! The sweet lady that is always here gets our food super fast and it's always delicious. Sit by the fire, it's a very cozy romantic spot.

We arrived when there were zero people at the restaurant at 2 pm and the gentleman asked just two and I said yes, do you want to do takeout and he said no okay. They only have one fryer so we could not order spring rolls as we are vegetarian. We ordered red curry and green curry and medium spicy but he made it extra spicy. He was not interested in serving us but I did see there was a DoorDash order they prepared. The portions are very small and when I inquired if they had lunch specials he said no it is all same price which is fine! The 3.5 stars are because the restaurant is clean and food is good - give a little more curry and a lot less rice and easily 4/5

We loved this place! Everything was delicious. Service was friendly and thoughtful. NaPha is nestled in a house and it feels like you are at someone's home. Nothing tasted like it was from a can. All freshly prepared ingredients. The red curry was absolutely amazing. So so good. Chicken satay was tender and tasty. You can't go wrong here!

You don't get much Thai/Lao food options in Newport. I'm so glad i found NaPha! The food reminds me of meals I've have at home with my family. This restaurant is truly a hidden gem. Quality food, gracious staff and beautiful space. Highly recommend.

I ordered Pad Thai and Crab Rangoons on a Sunday afternoon, to go. I placed an order via the website. It was ready on time and everything was given to me correctly. The pad Thai was delicious. I ordered no spice and would probably get mild next time. It had a lot of bean sprouts on top, not a personal favorite of time but totally normal for the dish. I'd ordered it again and ask for less bean sprouts next time. There was plenty of tofu included, which was my protein of choice. They also offered chicken, beef, etc. The crab Rangoon was phenomenal. The wontons were crispy and hot. The filling was creamy, with a good wonton to filling ratio (sometimes the filling can be skimpy elsewhere! I didn't find that here). The dipping sauce was light and complimented the dish well. The inside of the restaurant was spacious and had lots of plants. I would go back to dine in and I will definitely be back to get take out. Total price was around $35 for both dishes. I'd be very interested in trying the $12.95 lunch special (see menu in photo).

Good Thai experience in Newport. The Pad Thai is definitely the best choice. Strange they also have miso soup and teriyaki on the menu.

Exceptional Service - Newport Sandwich Company…read more I cannot say enough great things about Newport Sandwich Company and the owner, Kevin Sullivan. I was out of state and wanted to surprise my daughter with a grinder platter, and Kevin truly went above and beyond to make it happen. It was a last-minute request, and Kevin still took the time to put everything together and personally deliver it. To make things even more impressive, there was a huge parade happening in town, which could have easily made delivery impossible. Instead, Kevin planned ahead and brought it earlier so he could get through the crowds and make sure my daughter still received the surprise. My daughter was so ecstatic and happy when she got it. Moments like that mean so much, especially when you're far away and trying to do something special for your child. The food was amazing, but what stood out even more was the kindness, dedication, and customer service Kevin showed. Businesses like this are what make a community special. If you're in the area, I highly recommend Newport Sandwich Company. Thank you, Kevin, for going the extra mile and making my daughter's day so special!

We just had another fabulous dinner at Brick Alley Pub & Restaurant--our second time dining here…read moresince last fall, and it was just as wonderful as we remembered. We arrived a little early for our 4:00 p.m. reservation, and the place was already packed. While we waited by the bar, a very nice waitress took our drink order--a lemon drop martini, beautifully crafted, well-balanced, and pleasantly strong. We were seated shortly after and, of course, ordered another. (Both times, I took several sips before remembering to take a photo!) Our waitress, Mikela, was truly lovely--sincere, sweet, and very courteous. She was attentive throughout the meal without ever being intrusive, which made the experience feel relaxed and effortless. At the end, I told her I wished I could give her 6 stars, but Yelp only allows 5. For dinner, we both ordered the seared rare ahi tuna steak. I had mine with garlic bread, while my husband chose mashed potatoes. I also added the $9.95 salad buffet, which is such a great deal--you definitely won't leave hungry. I especially love their buffet-style salad bar, which offers nearly every option one could want. Both of our ahi tuna steaks were fantastic--fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. Once again, I dug into my tuna before remembering to take a photo! We finished the meal with a cheesecake to share--another delicious ending to a wonderful dinner. We're already planning our next visit--there are still so many dishes and drinks we'd love to try.

For drinks I got a refresher ~ refresher wasn't too outstanding but it helped with my spicy ramen~ my ramen so was savory and flavorful~ tasty, wasn't fatty or too oily. It had just good flavors that weren't too heavy but definitely filling and satisfying. My partners ramen was also very flavorful and tasty without the typical fatty, oily, tastes I usually get. We asked the server for the check since we need to leave soon after to make it on time for an event, and she gave us the check, and some to-go containers in case we needed it, which was very considerate! The appetizer were solid, good, but you MUST try the ramen. Spicy ramen was worth it if you need a good hangover soup or super chilly, or just want to sweat~ the egg and corn pieces were such soothing ingredients ~ Will be back for sure, even if the drive and parking is a hassle. I've seen the place before on yelp with good reviews and wanted to try for a while but since i don't go to newport often we decided to give it a try since we were in the area. It's a ramen shop in busy newport touristic area by the port. It's located inside the plaza and has parkings as well. Its was busy time of the week so the parking was full so we ended up finding a street parking a but far and walked over. Since its was nice out they had outside patio seatings as well but it was busy so we sat inside. Inside is decent size and has multiple seatings and tables that accommodates medium size groups. They seem to also have their own ramen noodle making area where the worker is hand making noodles and you can see them through the glass. We sat down and looked at the menu. They offer variety of drinks including bubble tea, alcoholic drinks and refresher as well with some interesting flavors. There are some appetizers and ramen noodle options. We tried the gochujang chicken bao bun, and spicy chili dumplings as appetizers.i tried their hong kong bubble tea and got the tonkotsu ramen. Gochujang chicken bao bun was tasty. Nice and fluffy bun and flavorful fried chicken paired well. I was expecting more or gochujang flavor but it actually tasted more like buffalo or hot chicken. Spicy chili dumplings were okay. Hong kong tea had good tea flavor and boba was chewy and sweet. The tonkotsu ramen was quite good. Flavorful pork broth paired well with garlic oil. Noodles were firm and thin as they seemed to be hand made. Chasu was fatty and flavorful. Egg was good but could use a bit more flavor if they were be marinated and should be a bit more yolky for ramen eggs. Overall a solid ramen. Service was good and the waitress was attentive. When i mentioned that i had to leave in a timely manner as we were going to be on a sunset cruise she brought the check right away with some bag and bowls to take the leftover home which was thoughtful. Overall we had a great experience at the restaurant and i was quite impressed by their ramen especially considering the options available in RI. Service was good and was not too busy despite being touristic area. This may be one of top spot for ramen in RI currently.

I loved the vinaigrette on top perfectly acidic and vinegary. It cut though the oil and heaviness of the breading which was perfectly salted by the way. The arugula bean salad was sooo good and created such a well balanced meal.
