These guys have also been in the APP several times for unsatisfactory health conditions. What really turned me off is when i last ordered, i got a cavatelli n broc dinner. Fairly simple dish right? Toms River East high school's go to pizza joint for lunch. With so many similar pizza joints in every plaza this one sands out. Sure Charlie's is closer to the school , but even a Jersey shore teenager knows quality. I love to get an ooey gooey greasy cheese slice and sit and watch the Italian channel they always keep on. Stopped by on a late afternoon and picked out two slices of pizza from their selection, shortly after eating I felt a bit achy. I went right home and laid down feeling no energy. Within an hour I began vomiting and this continued throughout the night until 4 AM. Today my throat is completely burned from the acids from my stomach and the muscles in my back are sore from the convulsing. It was the worst experience of food poisoning I have ever encountered. We've been ordering from this place for as long as I can remember and never had a major issue until tonight. My mom placed an order last night for 3 pies, 3 orders of garlic knots, and an order of fries. She said for delivery and was told 2 hrs. She said never mind I'll pick up. Was told an hr. Ok np. She called about 45 mins later and was told our order is ready. My sister and I get to Naples, walk in, and there are about 6 people waiting. Several men behind counter working, no greeting, no one says a word. We wait a few mins and I say excuse me, ask about our order and was told that orders not ready, still cooking. we sit and wait. We were talking, more people are coming in, and they're asking about their orders. Again, no one is being greeted and the place is full with customers. We realize about 20 mins go by and only 3 people pay and leave. The rest still waiting. I get up ask about our order, the guys says "3 pies", I mention the other items. He then walks around, is checking tickets, looking in oven and on top of oven and then starts messing with boxes. I say " so, is our order ready. We've been waiting a while." A delivery driver speaks up and says "it's our for delivery." What?! I mention they knew we've been waiting, why would you send it out? Pizza maker says there was confusion. Yeah no crap! We get home, pizza was delivered before we got there. I call and speak to manager. He says no one knew we were waiting and he doesn't seem to care. No apology or anything was offered. Staff at Naples is clearly lacking on customer service, is very disorganized, and have no idea what's going on! We will never order from here again. read more

I always order from here when I want "real" pizza. I guarantee you won't regret the chicken parmesan pizza OR the buffalo chicken pizza. The antipasta is also very good. I've been going here since I was a student at HS East, and even though I don't go nearly as often, their pizza is still great. Chicken Parm is awesome, but my personal favorite is their Chicken and Tomato on White Pie. Delicious! Ordered a white spinach pizza with grilled chicken. Was told it would arrive in 35 minutes. The pizza arrived in 60 minutes and had breaded chicken and a mountain of spinach. Way too much spinach. This is my go-to place since I live just a few blocks away. Still it is the best pizza slice in the area. About once a month I will order delivery of linguine with clam sauce or spaghetti and meatballs. It comes in a cardboard box and weighs a ton, comes with a whole big delicious warm Italian roll. Used to love naples and they make a grate cheese stake pizza, but they have started using cheaper ingredients and it is greasier. But the last time i went made me stop going. I live down the road from them when i go there its 2 minuets. I got it delivered and called up after an hour and they said it was on its way. So 20 minutes later when they show up i gave the guy a bad tip and on his way to his car the diver threw the receipt in my yard. We typically order the buffalo chicken pizza from here, which is pretty decent, although it appears to be made from pre-breaded chicken (and I have seen boxes used for delivery for breaded chicken patties - but my fiancé likes it). Today we ordered 2 soups with our order, Italian wedding and chicken noodle - both on the menu as "homemade soups". They were both undeniably Progresso canned soups. The Italian wedding consisted of the tiny ball-shaped pasta, typical of Progresso, and had some penne pasta and additional broth added in, which masked the Progresso taste a bit. I took one taste of the chicken noodle and threw it out. They didn't even try to "doctor up" this soup - thick "broth", exact same Progresso taste, complete with the chunks of mystery-meat looking chicken and egg noodles, not an option elsewhere on the Naples menu. If I wanted canned soup, I would go to Shop Rite and buy it for a dollar, not pay $4.75 each. Naples Pizza should be embarrassed, trying to pass off canned soup for homemade. Definitely will no longer be ordering from here! read more
