I'd have to say the queso was my favorite, but... we'll yeah it's cheese! Hayden let me taste the Sauvignon Blanc on happy hour and while it wasn't unenjoyble, I went with the non-happy hour Reisling for the win, which was delicious! Coastal Hour Crispy Rock Shrimp as an appetizer, which is about 1/2 the dinner size and perfect as a starter or even as a meal with a soup or salad. Really nice breading on the shrimp, not too thick. Good flavor on the sauce, not spicy. For the entree, Louisiana style Halibut with Crawfish and Cajun Sauce, Mashed Potatoes and Asparagus. The plate comes out piping hot, please don't touch. I even had to cool off each bite of food. Well balanced flavors, cooked perfectly. No room for dessert, so I settled on the Smores Martini which was an amazing dessert choice. This is one of my husband's all time favorite places to dine. He loves that they bring the food out on a tray so he can see the fish before he orders. We have learned so much from our servers about the fish and the best way to prepare it. The specials are truly special here! We always make a reservation, because we would be heartbroken if we had our hearts set on coming here and they were full! Both of us love the concoctions that the barkeep makes, but we both adore their Old Fashioneds. First off I want to give huge kudos to Chris who was our waiter. I haven't experience such amazing customer service like his in a long time. They bring out a board of all their fresh seafood from around the world. If there is a seafood item you want this place will have it! This particular night we tried oysters octopus and ceviche for apps, halibut Seabass, and tuna for me, and my friends split the banana fosters while I opted for the s'mores martini with a homemade marshmallow. Everything was fresh and cooked to perfection. Haven't had asparagus cook that well at a restaurant probably ever. The drinks were very well crafted and seasonal and of generous proportions. When you walk in, you are transformed into an underwater oasis. Interactive movie on one wall and port holes all around take you to an underwater Mecca. A large bar area along with some tables upstairs I would highly recommend a reservation to make sure you get a seat. If there were 4.5 stars offered that would have been my rating. It went something like this: service-5+ stars, ambiance and decor 4.5 stars and cuisine is broken down as follows: crispy rice Napoli appetizer 5 stars, wedge salad with bacon 5 stars, bread service with spicy mustard or cheese 5 stars, filet mignon with lump crab 5 stars, but the Alaskan halibut-3 stars. The reason for downgrading the fresh fish item ($65) was that it was either overcooked or not as fresh as advertised because the texture was neither firm and flaky, but instead was more "mushy." What an incredible surprise! I'd walked by this place a few times, and while I saw how nice it looked I had no idea about the incredible food and excellent service. Definite "Stars of the Game" situation, boys. To start, the cocktail menu is deep with creative and traditional options, as well as numerous mocktails. The menu doesn't hide from its strengths, though one can see how several of the options are offered for people on business dinners (I'm looking at you, Various seafood towers). The grilled octopus was a delight for a start, charred perfectly with a few tastes and potatoes to help bring out the flavors. The fillet-in-front-you Dover Sole was so light, so tasty, and four filets strong. The recommended sauce was the right accent without overwhelming the taste. The ambiance overall was very relaxing with a beautiful and large video screen of an aquarium on the wall. Our waitstaff, Courtney was amazing, she was warm, friendly and made us feel like we were at home. had (2) classic martinis with olives, both were outstanding. We were served warm bread, which was similar to pretzels with a butter sauce--Delicious. Such an impressive seafood spot. The service starts with a unique seafood presentation. I ordered a flambéed seafood risotto that was presented flambéed in a cheese wheel which was very unique. The seafood pot pie-like soup was amazing as well. My mom received a birthday dessert that was very unique and tasted amazing. Overall, every single part of the dinner is impressive. For the mains, they bring out a tray of fresh seafood to choose from: halibut, Chilean Sea Bass, lobster tails, Bay Scallops, Yellowfin Tuna, Dover Sole and probably a few I forgot to list. Each selection looked terrific, nice and large, sure to satisfy any appetite. I chose the Yellow fin Tuna, almost fist sized and cooked rare, to my liking. I had it with their Sauce Veirge, a lemon based sauce with sun dried tomatoes & herbs, Absolutely delicious! My wife opted for their Miso salad as her main, very tasty. Service was terrific, we refilled our drinks once and had water on the side. Napoli Sea is the perfect date night / special occasion spot, considering it's definitely on the pricier side. Every dish we had was packed with flavor and tasted fresh. We started off with the calamari, which came with two sauces. The pretzel sticks with cheese / mustard for dipping were given complimentary. The sea bass was my favorite and the lemon butter sauce on top really complimented the fish. The ahi tuna was also delicious with a sesame crust. Overall, the seafood here is hands down some of the best that I've had in the STL area and I like that you're able to choose which fish and which sauce you want to pair it with. This was our 4th trip to Napoli Sea and it was nothing short of spectacular! This gem in St. Charles, MO, continues to impress us with its flavorful seafood dishes. We started our meal with the East Coast oysters. They were briny, succulent and came with 3 sauces, but my favorite is the delicious vinegar sauce. The Zuppa soup (clam chowder) was a bowl of rich, savory goodness made even better with puff pastry on top! I had the shrimp scampi special and the shrimp were HUGE, perfectly cooked, tender, and bathed in a luscious garlic butter sauce with au gratin potatoes and asapargus as the sides. YUM! Our friends had the Napoli Platter which was a showstopper, featuring 6 large shrimp, lump crab meat, and 12 oysters, all incredibly fresh and delicious. As we walked in the nautical atmosphere was so inviting. It is a smaller version of Napoli 3 and very cozy. My old fashioned was delicious. Their drinks never disappoint. We enjoyed one of the appetizers from the specials. It was a crispy sushi roll and it was so flavorful. The only thing I was disappointed in was their crispy bay scallops appetizer. The scallops were very small and the breading was very thick. I'll be trying a different appetizer next time. Our bartender was attentive and knowledgeable of the menu and specials. Got to check out Napoli Sea with a group of friends for my birthday! Next to Napoli III at the Streets of St. Charles The Ceviche was so delicious! I don't know what they do with those saltines, maybe deep fry, but they are so delicious with the ceviche. Crispy and buttery! The Charred Octopus was chewy and definitely can taste the smokiness. I wish they gave a little bit more. When we chopped it up, it came up to 5 pieces, so each of us only had one bite of the octopus. Chilean Sea Bass, Prime Filet, and Risotto Di Mare were good, but there was really no wow! The way they made our Risotto and presentation was fun to watch though. I was most disappointed with the Australian Wagyu strip (medium rare), especially for its price. It was underwhelming and wasn't as tender as the filet mignon I had a week prior at a different restaurant. Overall, our server was great and friendly! Food was good! Clean and New vibe! read more

The inside was really nice great vibe and had a nice mezzanine seating area. We ordered a couple drinks and our Server reviewed the menu with us in depth and showed us what the Market menu items were and how they were prepared. We choose the chargrilled oysters for an appetizer. One of the best chargrilled oysters I've had and we travel the coast for seafood often. Then I ordered the shrimp off the market menu and my husband ordered the seafood risotto which is prepared table side inside a huge Parmesan wheel. The risotto is a very nice portion, could easily share it. For dessert we shared the crème brûlée macaron. I'm glad we did because it was rich and delicious.
