We got our food after a table of 4 got seated like 30 minutes after me and my partner. Food was delicious. As usual. Asked for more bread he took bread and butter away and the. Overall really nice place. Some of the flavors were a bit extreme. My salmon was super salty. Thank God I had the cow on the bottom to also some of the saltiness. I also got a side of cacio e pepe. Really good flavors there. Came out of the kitchen piping hot and cooked to perfection. Definitely solid flavors of the black pepper and parmesan. I had to try the toasted ravioli which is a Saint Louis creation. Tasted fine. I'm not sure I compares other tasted raviolis but really good tomato sauce that accompanied the dish. Some of my other friends said that their dishes were way too spicy from what they got. Because back to my earlier comment of some of these seasonings are way too extreme. Been wanting to find another Italian restaurant in the St. Charles vicinity and found Napoli 3. Located in a restaurant friendly shopping area, Napoli 3 comes highly recommended. Napoli 3 was open for lunch and based on our day was the perfect spot to relax for a few minutes. Napoli 3 had plenty of seating and would recommend calling in advance to confirm they can accommodate your group. Nicely decorated restaurant with the right amount of style to catch your eye. We didn't try any of their signature cocktails, but their drink menu had several options we will try next time. We tried their Cesar salad as well their oyster chowder, which were made fresh and delicious. Wife had the bolognese and I went with the chicken marsala. Both dishes were deliciously seasoned and very tasty. Service checked up on us but didn't crowd. Tables were serviced quickly and restaurant was very clean. Argiano Brunello - though they only had the 2019, I was still curious about it since the 2018 was Wine Spectator's wine of the year last year. Needed a decant to open up, and was infinitely better towards the end of the meal. We ordered a lot of variety of food. Fried calamari's, meatballs (probably my favorite item of the night), sea bass, veal piccata, gnocchi, crème brûlée, tiramisu, chocolate gelato. Did end up boxing half of it for home. Another Napoli, now in the streets of st Charles. Can't go wrong with this place, they have a extremely nice relaxed atmosphere. Lots of tvs for bar seating and post work relaxation. Booths for intimate dates. Love the food. First the bread is delicious. The crispy calamari was so good too. Honestly we were already getting pretty full just from those 2. We had excellent service (I can't remember her name but she was great!) and our cups never ran empty or even close to it! I highly recommend the espresso martini, it's probably the best I have ever had ( it was so good I forgot to get a picture of it). We got arancini which was absolutely delicious and i could probably have had 4 of them because they were that good. My boyfriend got the chicken parmigiana which was delicious and an absolute massive serving and I got the ricotta gnocchi and although this is a bit more of a pricey place and the serving doesn't look like as much as the chicken, it was very filling and I really enjoyed it, it had a lot of flavor and came out so quickly! Everything was done in such a timely manner especially for it being Valentine's Day. This is definitely a more upscale place but most people aren't too dressed up, a nice shirt and really any pants are what most people wear, so you get the "fancy" dining experience without there being a strict dress code or anything too crazy. The service was very attentive and friendly, and the food was delicious. I had a couple of flavored Moscow mules, which were delicious but a little pricey. We had the seasonal burrata with heirloom tomatoes for an appetizer, which was the perfect size for two. I had the Chilean sea bass, and my husband had the lamb chops for our entrees. The sea bass was cooked perfectly with a nice sear on the outside. It is a pretty light dish by itself, as it only comes with sautéed spinach, so you might want to add a side if you're not getting an appetizer. My husband enjoyed the portions of the lamb chops and said they were cooked very well. In the middle of the ball is a cheesy risotto, and they're on top of a red sauce. So good! They also bring bread out to the table with parm and oil. I tried the Cowboy bebop cocktail, and loved it!
