I've been here a few times now and am especially happy to go out of my way since they have some deals on PocketPoints. They have a variety of drinks and the shop itself is spacious. It doesn't have the best decor but it is bright with nice large windows. A few times I've been, there have been several families with children in the middle of the weekdays which leads me to think it's a good place for families but not so great for studying. Will continue to visit especially when I'm on this side of town and want a place where waiting is minimal and parking is free and a plenty! read more

VERY VERY DISAPPOINTED, first time there I ordered a burrito for 5$ they handed it to me and it looked hideous the tortilla was burnt, super tiny, did not look appetizing at all! I was hungry so I tried it to see if maybe the flavor was good it was disgusting! I opened it up the bacon looked like it had been boiled, the potatoes looked strange, there was little to no cheese, hardly any eggs, very very small pieces of eggs... the only thing going for the burrito was the green Chile. I have never asked for a refund for food but I was not going to eat or pay for that burrito. I didn't even want to try something else because of how bad that burrito was. The children's area was the reason I went. Not many places that have an area like that. It was disgusting as well! It looks like they have NEVER wiped down anything EVER. Most toys were BLACK! Awesome breakfast burrito. It just hits the spot. I have been in this location twice in the last week for a quick burrito and iced coffee. The burrito is not made in house...the staff said a local restaurant makes them (I hope to find out where! After another visit and asking point blank, they are made by the sandwich company just up the street which is more of a lunch place and doesn't have good coffee. I'm loving the local partnership here) and Napoli has several offerings on the menu including a vegetarian one with pinto beans. I chose the classic bacon and green chile...nestled inside a flour tortilla with gooey cheese, eggs and potatoes. They nuke it (microwave) then toast it in a toaster oven I think. The result...GOOD. Priced at $5.05 ( of course!) and you are on your way. The green chile was legit! Left a decent burn and tasted so good. The iced coffee also has coffee iced cubes...prolonging the caffeine! The space is quite large and attracts an older crowd...but the staff was nice and the service was quick. read more

As a past frequent customer, I feel that this cafe has really gone downhill. I tried to give them another chance today with great regret. The customer service was atrocious! No greeting and not a word once I received my order. The oatmeal and chai latte I ordered were awful. The oatmeal was nothing but cold milk with some oats in the bottom. The latte tasted like water and cinnamon! Worst experience from this place. I spent the same amount at Starbucks and got better quality food/drink and amazing customer service. If Napoli would step up its game with their items and customer service, they might be able to survive. The shop itself has a wonderful atmosphere and would be nice to enjoy a good drink (if only they had those!) read more

Stopped here for a quick coffee on my way out of town, was only visiting overnight. They had bulletproof coffee which made me very happy since I eat a ketogenic diet. My husband got a pork breakfast burrito and said it was delicious. Absolutely no complaints, and would stop by here again if I come back through Albuquerque. read more

They have a ​really great variety of unique lattes here that are delicious, the regular​ coffee​ is just okay in my opinion. The prices here are reasonable. They have a large open floor plan with a lot of natural lighting which I really like- I will usually bring my laptop and study because​ it's​ typically quiet, ​however, there is a little corner for kids to play which can sometimes get noisy. People are everything. Whether it is family, your work, your customers, or your local coffee shop. I work from home, and I often need to change my scenery in order to soccer y things up. This is where Napoli fits for me. Their cafe is spacious, with a large bar and ample power plugs, perfect for a solid computer programming session. But, most importantly, the staff is awesome and this place has that community feel that makes it a place where you feel welcome regardless of why you are there. It's far enough from UNM to avoid the student blast zone and its associated noise, but it has the things that are most important for this programmer: decent free WiFi. The WiFi router has a habit of going on the fritz, so if you're having trouble feel free to let the staff know. (I've been trying to convince them to let me set up a better system for them, but they haven't taken me up on that yet.) Regardless, I love this place and its staff and community, and this is a regular haunt of mine. I hope that you enjoy it as much as I do. read more

As a former barista from downtown Chicago I judge coffeeshops pretty critically. This one was fantastic and is probably the best one in Albuquerque. Friendliness: Each barista we met during our week long stay in Albuquerque was friendly, courteous, and engaging. Service: Drink Orders were quick, accurate, and tasty. I tried the oatmeal with fruit and brown sugar and enjoyed it. They tamp the espresso manually, which makes for quality espresso. Atmosphere: Big open, airy, ceiling and space. Some would prefer something with a little more privacy or a semblance of privacy. Lots of tables, outdoor seating with umbrellas, a couch, and two comfy chairs with a table between them. They also have a long table bar with outlets and more than adequate space for work. read more

Let me be really upfront with you... 1. I don't drink coffee. I love the way it smells and tastes, but it gives me the jitters and makes my gums recede. (Crazy, right?!) 2. I take 6-8 meetings in coffee shops every week for my business. So, now that we know that - Napoli is one of my go-to coffee shops in ABQ. There is lots of parking, great natural light, it is centrally located, there is a nice variety of seating (and plenty of it), and the view of the mountains through the front windows is breathtaking. This is an ideal place to have a meeting, catch up with a friend, read that novel, journal, stitch 'n' bitch, you name it. It is relaxing and non-pretentious. I appreciate that they have snacks and pastries and sandwiches, even though I rarely buy them (see #2). I usually get an herbal tea - they usually have both honey and agave for sweetener (as well as standard sugar). read more

So I'm sitting in the place as I write this. 9 a.m. There are fourteen other customers in this coffee shop, I don't believe a single one of them is under 50 years of age. This is not a complaint or an issue for me, just an observation: the shop caters to friendly locals who seem to have time on their hands to discuss a book they're writing, or read the paper, or talk about their in-laws. In essence this atmosphere is precisely what your favorite local coffee shop should promote, regardless of the audience. I don't know how to otherwise review the place, and I can't vouch for the food or baked treats. I have a damn fine big ol' latte sitting in front of me that cost more than I'm really comfortable paying ($4.25), but then again, I'm going to be sitting here for the next couple hours, and the hospitality's worth it, to me. I could be wrong, but I don't know of another coffee house anywhere in the vicinity of this area. Napoli nestles its local walls between a Subway, Papa Murphy pizza, and a McDonalds. The young woman making my coffee was very nice and confident about her barista abilities. She brought out my quad shot Americano to the counter then carefully watched as I tasted it. I learned long ago that it is insulting to add cream to coffee before tasting it, and she clearly was looking for my taste approval too. So I took a sip. It was good coffee, very much an Italian roast, strong but not an overly-roasted flavor. This barista knew what she was doing behind the coffee bar and indicated to me that the espresso drip happen to come out just how she liked to see it. I gave her my approval and compliments, and then i savored it in its black, unadulterated state. This was an exceptional cup of coffee! Napoli is a huge coffee restaurant. This place was great! A solid 4 stars. We came for breakfast here after staying in one of the nearby hotels. I got a coffee and a bran muffin, which they heated up for me, and my friend got a chicken burrito and a chocolate croissant. I wish I would have seen that they had burritos because it looked great. A bran muffin is probably not what you would usually think of as something really delicious. But somehow it was sweet and savory in just the right way. It was perfect with some coffee to wash it down. The two women working the counter were extremely nice. Great service, great people, great spot. If I was a local I'd be there all the time. read more

I have been here so many times, I couldn't believe that I did not already have a review for them. I have never been disappointed. They have fast and friendly service. The environment is awesome! They have such a large space and they make it very comfortable. I love going here to study or do homework or catch up with friends. I have never been disappointed with any latte I have ordered. They always have seasonal lattes on rotation, but can do them any time of year! So all you PSL lovers, go to Napoli because I am sure they can make it better and all year round. I wish they opened at 6am on the weekends for that twice a month national guard duty, so I could get a delicious coffee before going in for duty, but other than that, it is amazing. read more

This is my #2 favorite coffee shop ever. My #1 is in Hawaii, so this one is certainly a more convenient location :). I love this place because I am able to order a fancier coffee if I'm in the mood, and it's always good or I can go with a basic brew and it is still fabulous. I will say that I enjoyed the premium coffees from Starbucks as well, but their basic brew is terrible. Napoli in contrast is well-balanced and their entire menu is great. At Napoli there's always a relaxed atmosphere, a nice selection of coffee, and excellent preparation. The carne adovada breakfast burrito is delicious, as are the pecan rolls especially with a late or cappuccino. What would push Napoli over the top in my mind would be an investment in a standard size set of espresso, cappuccino, and late cups. I know it seems a little silly sometimes, but I can't take a coffee shop seriously that does not have these. Serving excellent craft coffee in gigantic mugs like you'd find at grandma's house just spoils a little bit of it for me. First and foremost - they've moved! Danielle D. and I made plans to have our weekly early morning coffee date and found ourselves at an empty storefront on Carlisle just north of Menaul. A handwritten sign directed us to the new location on Menaul near Richmond. I must say, I can see why they moved - a much more modern and visible site was very inviting. The interior is spacious! Morning sun blinds a half of the tables, but lots of seating was available. Agree with previous reviews that the 'specialty lattes' are overpriced. I still had to try the Pirate Latte with coconut and jamaican rum (flavor that is). Very tasty, and quickly prepared. Glad we visited, and I will probably be back because the location is convenient to home and work, but to be honest, I could feel that 'new location vibe' and I think once they work out the kinks, it'll be a cozier more welcoming coffee destination. read more

Honestly, I really enjoy this place. I had always wanted to stop in so one day we decided to give it a go, and we were actually very satisfied. We always have the mint tea, but it is really delicious. This is a really nice place to come and hang out at and drink a coffee or tea and have a little pastry, burrito, or sandwich. This is a gem hidden in an ugly shopping plaza. You can barely see it from the street. On the outside the cafe doesn't look like anything special, but inside is another story. The place is warm and inviting and the atmosphere is very relaxed. There is plenty of seating. The menu is not huge, but is well thought off. I had the veggie fresh mozzarella, pesto, sundried tomatoes and spinach sandwich on artisan bread and it was delicious. It was not as big as you might be accustomed, but it was a good size. If you are on a rush, you can order your food over the phone and pick it up. In any case, the service is very quick. I've given this place 2 chances over the past year and I just can't get over how terrible their lattes are. I gave two stars because they have a nice space to hang out and I haven't tried their food yet so I'm still hopeful. But if you value your palate and have even the smallest appreciation for what good espresso should taste like, you won't punish yourself with one of their lattes. I've tried one with three nut-flavored syrups and another one that had amaretto and a couple of other flavors. Look, I know that there will be people on this site who are all, "well, if you value the taste of good espresso, you wouldn't be adding syrups". To whom I'd counter with, " if the espresso was truly tasty, the syrups would let that shine through. " But I'm not looking to get into semantics here, I just want a tasty caffeine buzz! And try not to hate on me when I say that the new Starbucks blonde espresso is leaps and bounds tastier than what they serve here. I might be interested in coming back to try their food but for ~$5 for a small latte with an alternative milk, I'll be going elsewhere. read more

This is not a bad little place. The atmosphere is relaxed, the customers seemed to be mostly older people. I wouldn't say that it jumps out as a fantastic coffee place, but it is good and it is local which is nice. The mocha and the sandwich I had while there were both good, the service was friendly, everything was clean and tidy. I appreciate that the parking is easy to get in and out of. (This is not the case with the two Satellite locations I frequent) However, I do like Satellite just a tiny bit more. Also they have a frequent flyer card... If you hate Starbucks and do not like Satellite either for some reason, then definitely check out Napoli! read more
