Since Napoli's rebranding they are went from great, to greater. Their steaks are fresh and prepared well. The service was even better. Their sides can be subbed with original Italian food or traditional steak sides. Everything was clean and the my family and I enjoyed a nice dinner, peacefully. My Baked Ziti was excellent and came piping hot! Bread with the olive oil, garlic and basil dipping sauce was to die for. Service was quick, although we were the only ones in the restaurant at 5pm last Monday. Ambiance is very nice with linen napkins and tablecloths. The restaurant appeared very clean and tidy. My only complaint was that I had ordered a Cannoli and when she brought my friends desert she informed me that they weren't any left. I'll try again next time we go there to eat. WORST CHICKEN PARM I HAVE EVER EATEN IN AN ITALIAN RESTAURANT! Horrible training for staff as stated in other posts. They serve a processed chicken patty that was less than a quarter of an inch thick on a bed of overcooked spaghetti and what taste like a canned marinara for $ 18.99. The poor waitresses had no idea what was in the food, on the menu, or how to serve. Let's put it this way we ordered a Caesar salad appetizer which the waitress promptly delivered with our bill and then asked if we still wanted it, for purchase of course. Beware they are also adding a 4% credit card fee to the bill when they deliver it to the table even though they had no idea how I was going to pay. Decided to try Napoli Italian Restaurant during our overnight stay in San Angelo. Started with the appetizer of mushrooms which were overcooked with a hard breaded crust. Sent them back for a second try but no improvement so we canceled it. Ordered the Cesar salad which was ok but would not order again. Rolls were good but again overcooked and crusty. Served with an olive oil and garlic which was intensely garlicky but I liked it but my wife did not. Ordered the chicken parm with pasta which was another disappointment with a thin overcooked tough chicken breast. Yuk. Worst I have ever had. My wife ordered the spaghetti with meat sauce and requested light sauce but it was loaded with sauce. My waitperson told the chef to be easy but it was loaded. (More does not equal better.) Delicious Italian food in San Angelo, TX! My boyfriend & I came here the first night we arrived in town, and we were so glad we did. The garlic knots here are amazing! That was probably my favorite part of the whole meal. I was so surprised at how soft they were and how strong & aromatic the garlic flavor was. We shared the calamari appetizer and enjoyed that as well, but the garlic knots stole the show. For my entree, I decided to go basic and order the classic spaghetti & meatballs. I was disappointed that the eggplant is no longer on the menu but we thoroughly enjoyed our spaghetti and meatballs and the flavorful marina sauces. The portions were more than generous! As for Italian food goes in small town Texas, this is the best I've found so far. Not had much else to compare with but this is still very good nonetheless. Having lived in Italy all of 2019 eating lots of legit Italian food all over the country, this came darn close. The service is stupendous and the venue is near top tier fine dining like atmosphere. Ashley is an amazing server while owners Beckham and Lily are star owners ready to serve the locals needs through your stomach and your heart. Arrived here for a comforting late lunch before heading to the airport and I ordered the shrimp fettuccine Alfredo. It was AMAZING!!! The amount served was more than enough and it was super creamy with sauce. Usually I have to ask for a side of Alfredo sauce elsewhere but that was not the case today. It was served soon after and it was pleasantly hot and fresh. The bread served was fresh and tasty. Owner, Bekam, made sure to come by and make sure service was good and not lacking. Any customer that came through he made sure to assist if needed (with an elderly) and took a few minutes to chat with every customer making it feel very genuine as he did with me. The waitress, Gabrielle, was very attentive, friendly and on point. Also cleanliness of dining area and restroom was on point as well too. I travel to San Angelo for business and will definitely make sure to come again for lunch and dinner! read more

This place was absolutely amazing. First of all the waitress that helped us was great. I wish I could remember her name but I believe it started with a "A". Nevertheless this is definitely a place you could dress up to & celebrate a special occasion which I feel like is very limited in San Angelo regarding options of such. I ordered the lobster ravioli w/ shrimp and it was a great choice! I also ordered the tiramisu for dessert and that was just as splendid. My friends all enjoyed their entrees aswell. So the one stars is because the food was really excellent. The homemade bread with the olive oil dipping mix was spot on. The meat lovers spaghetti was perfectly spiced and loaded. The beef cannolis were amazing. And the chicken Alfredo was thick and creamy. So I know...if the food was that good why only one star? The waitress was on her first night and didn't know the menu. She had no mentor to help, so she was on her own. She was really sweet and tried but was clueless. When you ask to split a plate, and her idea was that you should use your salad plate and split it yourself instead of having the kitchen split it and apply a plate charge. It took forever to get the drinks delivered. The Alfredo came out with a red sauce and we sent it back to be made right. And they have no menu for kids. No dessert was offered at the end of the meal I still tipped her well, because she was so pleasant and tried. But the owner-manager should be ashamed for making her sink or swim on her first night with no mentor. read more

The food was so good, it was fresh when I went to pick it up. The service was great. It didn't take long for my order really at all. I ordered 3 different meals, and it was more than enough food. My girlfriend and I both ate several times throughout the day that I had ordered from there & we still had leftovers for the next 2 days after that. For starters, the bread knots and minced garlic olive oil dip were to die for. We knew immediately after trying the knots that the food would be excellent. I ordered the cannelloni and it was every bit delicious! It arrived hot and bubbly with melted cheese cascading over cannelloni generously stuffed with spinach, ricotta, and meat. Packed with flavor. Finally, we ordered cappuccinos to top off an excellent meal. They arrived at the perfect temperature and had just the right amount of sweetness. The 3rd person ordered something that I never could figure out what it was. It looked to be maybe a penne pasta with a "brown" sauce and unrecognizable meat. She only took 2 bites and stopped. My wife and I were visiting from out of town and my dad asked if we wanted to try the new Italian place that just opened not too long. I ordered the Chicken Alfredo and my wife had the Penne Vodka. We had calamari, Chicken Marsala, cannoli, tiramisu and espresso. We are Originally from NJ and we are Italian (my husband 1st generation) Ive had more than my share of homemade, authentic Italian food and I have to say this is the best Italian food I've had in Texas over the last 10years!! I gave this one star for the bread. And one star for the tea. I ordered a chicken Parmigiana , which was way too thin to be a chicken breast of regular size. The chicken did not taste fresh. But tasted like it fed had been reheated in the microwave. I asked the waitress what kind of sauce they put in this specific plate and she stated it is made with marinara sauce. It tasted like a very generic store brand sauce. Nothing like what a true marinara should taste like. The spaghetti was overcooked. For 16.99 I expected a better meal . The food not only was excellent to the palate, but also very large portions. Our first trip to Napoli's was great. The restaurant itself is actually nicely done, clean, open and comfortable. We ordered Chicken Picatta and LaSagna. The order got confused with Veal Picatta, so we had to wait as they rushed the Chicken Picatta through the kitchen. We appreciated a kind and attentive waitress and enjoyed a good Cabernet by the glass. The LaSagna was quite good. I would like more thick sticky cheese on the LaSagna to rate it great. On another note, the parking spaces were super wide, which we appreciate in our Mustang with its big heavy doors. Plenty of room to park big dually trucks as well! There were tons of flies circling us at one point I saw 6 of them sitting on our table and 3 on the table next to us, not even mentioning the ones flying around us. The only benefit of the doubt I can find is that we were the only ones there so they were probably attracted to our food. Still unacceptable and gross. Napolis to get an exterminator in there ASAP. Edit - took their food to go as that we could eat it at the park. Their Alfredo is pretty tasteless and their spaghetti and meatballs is subpar. Calamari wasn't bad. I was kind of excited to try the new location as I had been to the previous one and enjoyed the food. Has great atmosphere and love piano playing. First impressions were great. We ordered the Shrimp Scampi and Chicken Marsala. The food came out super fast. Then it went down hill from there. You could tell this food was not fresh. The chicken had either been frozen or cooked earlier then microwaved to warm back up. It was very tough. The Marsala sauce was very bland and I couldn't really taste it over the mushrooms. The shrimp was scampi was also bland. I'm guessing the noodles sat in water to stay warm. The shrimp was also way over cooked. After two bites that dish ended up getting sent back to the kitchen. The saving grace was our waitress, I think she knew what the food quality was tonight. She refunded the scampi. I took the Marsala home in a to go box just because I felt bad but it was put in a trash can at a gas station. We ended up finding another place to eat for the night. Based on other reviews I may give it another shot at a later date, but it will be a while. I really hope it was an off night for them. read more
