Did they change management? I've always loved the food here. Not today. Website said they delivered and when I called to place my order they said they don't deliver. Food was very underwhelming. Came here for my birthday celebration. Love that you can veganize the menu by paying extra $1, haven't seen that before anywhere. They don't have any lunch specials but we were more excited about thier vegan options. The spring rolls were a little bland but decent. Man, the vegetarian spicy basil fried rice was amazing! I ordered from Nara before and thought it was pretty good but this last time I'm pretty shocked at what they charge and the portions they give. They charge 14 dollars for a curry that is about 1/2 the portion size of what I usually get at any other Thai restaurant. And for shrimp they charged me an extra 6 dollars and gave me 3 pieces of shrimp. I don't think I can ever order from this place again. It is a shame because the food tastes good but I can't justify paying 90 bucks for Thai food that is 1/2 portion sizes. read more

We ordered from the Cypress location and have been extremely loyal however the past two times have been awful. We ordered the Orange Chicken (over cooked and only 11 tiny pieces and dry) fried rice (over cooked dry chicken and no flavor) and Pad Thai ( dry and had a very strange flavor) on top of all of that the portions were extremely small compared to what they use to be. Not pictured is the tofu they originally made for us and I had to drive over 45 min round trip and wait 15 min for my food. Extremely horrible experience, didn't once ask if they could compensate and refund our money. After the past two experiences I doubt we will be back after going to this spot for years. read more

Five stars through Uber Eats delivery! We have ordered here multiple times and every time, it's been a hit. The food arrived still warm ~ so thanks Uber Eats. We always order Pad See Ew w/ chicken or beef, Orange Chicken w/ rice, crab puffs and sticky rice w/ custard. All the food that we ordered were flavorful and taste delish! We did pick spice level 3, it's the perfect amount of spice - spicy to have your nose running but still super edible! The sticky rice w/ custard - taste extremely fresh and not old rice. I've been to Nara Thai more than three times now. I have to say, I am super impressed with their food and prices. The pad Thai is amazing. The tamarind sauce is the perfect level of sweet. For heat level, I usually get 3 for the pad Thai. My other favorite dish is the spicy basil fried rice. Words can't describe how delicious it is. I would note, however, the fried rice heat level comes out about 1 level extra hotter on their heat scale. So maybe order a level down if you are afraid of the heat. read more

I ordered Togo and they got everything right which is a fresh start. I definitely want to get in and try some various menu items in person. Food: I ordered chicken and veggie Tom Kha. While the flavor was good and you won't be let down, it was a bit sweeter than majority of places I've eaten (over 50 lol). That being said, it was really good!! I just like a little better balance with lemongrass. People with a creamy sweat palette will go nuts. And those without won't be disappointed still, just maybe have the same thoughts. We still ate it all ;). As far as spice, I love Hot stuff but with Thai you better be careful because they just built different. That being said I got the medium spice and it was super tolerable, but spice for a normal person would be perfect and give some head sweats. Apps: We had the fried crab Rangoon style appetizer (apologies I think they called it something else). These were amazing with flavor and texture, only issue was that 2 of the pods literally were completely hollow lol. I was actually surprised how it held its shape so well with absolutely nothing inside of it. I'm sure it's a rare mistake, and I would definitely order them again. Then we ordered the spring rolls (not fried). These are pretty standard anywhere and really hard to screw up. Although I d had some places where they have sat out too long and the rice paper gets hard, these were perfect and freshly made so kudos on that! All said and done, good quality food I'm not a bit disappointed in overall, I would say it's a tiny bit pricier than other Thai spots in the area which is why I gave it a shot assuming perhaps there was justification for the slightly higher price. But I think it falls in line with most Thai places, nothing to drive an hour for, or for my experience and taste buds however. And I don't mean overpriced significantly just fyi. I just mean a couple dollars more per plate than average so I wouldn't judge trying it out based on that. I generally don't like leaving reviews for "Togo" food but with soups it's pretty straight across the board so I felt justified doing so. I will try this place again due to its close location, but next time will be in person. Togo was satisfying as well! read more

This Thai place did not disappoint. There is a casual atmosphere. The service was good, and the food was tasty. The menu is cute and has a couple of tips on it like to order yellow curry if you are new to Thai food and a spice chart. Crayons are also provided on the table to write on the paper table cover, which is a nice way to pass the time considering the food takes a few minutes to prepare. The Thai tea is super tasty, some of the best I have had. The crab angels were good as well. I liked their shape. The yellow curry was decent, but the potatoes had an odd taste to them. Overall it was a good visit, and I plan to come back at some point for more tea and crab angels. read more

TERRIBLE SERVICE. The waitress was a woman named Lupe. She spoke very broken English and she had the WORST ATTITUDE. She was very DISCRIMINATORY too. They had us pay before we got our food and I didn't see that any customers had to do that. We ordered a bottle of moscato and she said no. We asked if she was even going to check our id's and she did. She studied my friend's id's for a good 10 hours then she proceeded to check mine. Although, I am the youngest of the group, I am over the age of 21. She denied me a glass because I turned 21 a month ago! I almost had to speak with the manager, but she reluctantly gave me a glass. After that she was rolling her eyes at me all night. Everyone's food came out except mine, so I gave her the benefit of the doubt and waited. One of my friends got curry and it was the best thing I tasted that evening. Then I tried some of my friend's orange chicken and it was very crunchy and sweet. Lupe did not come and check on us at all. I waived to get her attention and I asked when my food would be out. She brought me back a menu. I repeated myself and she got mad and YELLED AT ME. I told her I just wanted the food I ordered. She didn't even say anything; she just look like she forgot about it and ran to the kitchen. She came back with my food and she insincerely apologized. I only ordered sushi; that doesn't take too long to make. It didn't even taste good. We also got dessert, but Lupe forgot once again. We decided to get it to get it to go.
