This place is so so good. I highly recommend going here. There good is always amazing, I have never gotten a bad meal. I always go here and order in. The good is brought out fresh and hot, especially if its on one of those hot dishes that make your food sizzle. I recommend the chicken katsu for people who dont like spicy food and for people who like spicy or a bit spicy the bulgolgi soup (its called something else on the menu, its korean name). Also the togu cucumber appetizer is delicious!! The sauce that it has is sweet and tangy and filled with toasted sesame seeds. There boba is a frozen drink, not like regular boba shops, so the balls get less bouncy because its in frozen drink. But everything there, the aesthetics of the place is so nice. Its really nice and there usually is plenty of parking and its off of Main Street and by the train station!

As the sole Korean eatery in Port Washington, it doesn't have a lot of competition. That being said, this place is pretty decent. The menu is a hodgepodge of Japanese, Korean and some American diner fare, but the ticket here is the Korean food. The hoedupbap (raw fish on rice) was pretty good and flavorful. Japchae was saucy and tasty and the bulgogi yaki udon was well done. The jjampong (spicy seafood soup) was good but a bit sweet and not as spicy as other places. Flavors here are good and close to authentic. If I have a gripe, its the portion size which tends to be small. Most traditional Korean restaurants charge about the same price (12-18 bucks an entree) but give about double the portion. They also don't give the banchan (side dishes) like regular Korean places but given that its a fusion restaurant, I can let that slide. Flavors 4 stars, value 3 stars for an average of 3.5 stars.

Okay, first, off, let's start with the name. It's about the stupidest name one could pick for a restaurant. iDiner? That's taking the iPod craze a bit too far. I don't need some iCheese to go with my iOmelet or iSyrup to go with my iBelgian Waffle, thank you. Thankfully, the name is the worst part of the restaurant, so once you get over the stupid name you should seriously consider walking inside. The decor is surprisingly classy, not just for a New York dinner, but for a restaurant in general. The wooden tables are clean, simple, with nice stained wooden seats to go with. A variety of black and white photographs are hung above the tables, so you can concentrate a forlorn tree or a child in an old picture as you chew. Honestly, though, I am not one to go to a restaurant for its decor. It is nice that they upgraded it from the slightly sketch insides of the Greek dinner that came before it, but if that was all that was good about I would not go back. The food, really, is the main drive. When you think diner, at least for me, you think American staples. Grilled cheese, burgers, omelets, clubs, eggs, pancakes, waffles, etc. iDiner has those, so if you're really craving a Turkey club with chicken noodle soup on a rainy Sunday morning you can order that (fyi, the fries looked like big steak fries, not my favorite, but some people like 'em). Beyond just American food lies the treasure. The diners owners are Korean, and it is in the establishment's Korean and Japanese food in which it shines. The bibimbap has fresh ingredients and has just the right level of crispyness and moistness. The bugolki has a great, somewhat spicy sauce that sizzles on the thinly sliced beef, onions and peppers as you bring it to your mouth. The salad is a fresh mix of tomatoes, spinach, lettuce and onions. The Korean rice, purplish in color from the beans mixed in, also contains a lovingly chewy Japanese pumpkin. You can also get edamame, sushi and yes, French toast and Belgian waffles. iDiner is not your grandpa's diner. You can have fresh squeezed OJ, toast and a LEO or you can have Udon and a spicy tuna roll. It's surprising enough to find such a combination under one roof, but what makes it more than just a fusion write off is that they pull it all of quite well. Asian Fusion does this place as much justice as its cheesy Apple inspired name.

Not your fathers dinner but has a good selection of food. Traditional and a good mix of Asian food. Friendly staff and good prices.

Such a satisfying lunch--this place continues to impress…read more Ken recognized us immediately and welcomed us back--always a thoughtful touch. Service from Ken and Alex was attentive, seamless, and effortless throughout. The hot and sour soup with grilled shrimp was rich, comforting, and perfectly balanced with just the right kick. The half Peking duck--served with delicate pancakes and sauces on the side--was cooked perfectly, boneless, and absolutely delicious. I especially loved the crispy skin--so flavorful and satisfying. The Malaysian-style red curry with seasonal vegetables, roti, and grilled shrimp, served with brown rice, was equally flavorful and well executed. Prices reflect the quality--and it shows. Delicious food, warm service--we'll definitely be back.

We were four and mostly agreed we enjoyed the appetizers (especially the tri-color vegetable…read moredumplings and the crystal shrimp dumplings), but not so much the main courses (especially not the marinated grilled salmon and the Buddha's delight). Also, early on, we had a little service issue that was tacitly resolved in our favor. We only wanted to order appetizers at first and later order the main courses. The server told us words to the effect that they take the order for everything at the same time because if later the restaurant is packed, the kitchen gets overwhelmed, and, also, they bring out the food whenever it's ready. As requested, we gave her our order for everything, but ultimately she was able to just serve the appetizers first and then pause until we were done with them before she brought out the main courses. My wife wanted a sweet white wine with her fish, like a Mosel. The closest they said they had was a fruity white Riesling, called Selbach/Incline, which turned out to be very fruity and delicious!
