Are you a parent looking for someplace you can get delicious frozen drinks AND take your child? Then this is the single most important detail for you: kids ARE allowed until 7pm. I can only imagine the debauchery that most go on after 7pm that the kid are sent home and the adult madness begins. We were really excited when we found out Streets of St Charles was expanding their pedigree with a frozen, boozy drink shop that boasted drinks of a higher caliber than just a slurpee with shots and we were not disappointed. After verifying that our 6 year old was ok to go on premises we found out they actually offer a handful of non-alcoholic drinks which was great because we didn't want our kiddo to sit there and not have a treat too. We got him the Mixed Berry Mint smoothie, which was quite good on its own and our son loved it. We started with two flights- I love that they have flights because each drink is so different from the next it really let's you get experience the multiple personalities that Narwhal's drinks are. We got the Banana Dave, Chocolate Mudslide, Mayan Junglebird, Strawberry Peach Bellini, Orange Dreamsicle and Strawberry Basil Lemonade. These drinks will knock your socks off! I entered this place thinking "oh they just dispense these premade frozen drinks" but they actually took great care in the preparation to make sure they were not just gorgeous but were garnished appropriately with all the proper accents described in the menu. We watched as whipped cream and orange zest was careful sprinkled onto the dreamsicle, and chocolate shavings dusted onto the top of our mudslide. Top notch! The two favorites- that we actually went back for full sized seconds were the Orange Dreamsicle and the Banana Dave. They tasted exactly as described, the creaminess of the whipped cream was a perfect blend with the orange. The Strawberry Basil Lemonade was a perfect hot summer day drink with the basil being an unexpected compliment to the Lemonade. You could taste real bananas in the Banana Dave. I love the roll up garage style doors to the outside patio seating and that they had fire pits to warm you up after your chilly drinks! For a place that does one thing- frozen boozy drinks- they do it exceptionally well! I can't wait to go back! FYI you can pick up takeout food from elsewhere in Streets of St Charles and bring it into Narwhal's! read more

Such a completely different experience at this location compared to the Midtown location! The place was completely packed and there was a line out the door on a Saturday evening. You basically stand in line while you wait to order unlike most bars where you can stroll up to the counter to place an order. Not here! Wait your turn in line. Place your order. Pay. And then get the hell out of the way! It took about 15 minutes standing in line before we could order. Yes, they have great refreshing drinks and it's a great atmosphere. But is it really worth the line and wait? Not sure. Once you get your drinks good luck finding a place to sit to enjoy them. The inside and outside were both at capacity! Good for them, but bad for customers who want to hang out. My friend and I stood awkwardly for a few minutes trying to enjoy our drinks, and eventually we were able to snag 2 chairs at a table so we could sit to enjoy the remaining sips we had. I get this is a new location so of course it's busy and I hope it continues to get this kind of crowd, but I wish they had more room for customers to sit to enjoy their drinks. The patio looked awesome and it would've been cool to hang out there. Maybe next time I'll be able to snag a chair or 2 outside? Drinks are good and who doesn't enjoy mudslides, mojitos, dreamsicles, etc. with awesome garnishes? The concept is awesome! The space can be awesome, but it just was too crazy busy for me the day we went. Absolutely love this place! I love the decor & the inside seating in the living room space. I love the chairs so much - trying to find them to purchase for my home. Between the seating, tvs, & amazing drinks, this is the first place I've ever felt like home even though I'm out. I love that it offers complete service & ordering via QR code. So efficient not to have to wait on a server to order or pay. My favorite drinks so far are the basil strawberry lemonade & the peach bellini. The hibiscus gin & tonic is good too, but I think I like the other 2 better. read more

I went to Narwhals Crafted one weekend when I was in ST. Charles. I was met right away and told how to order the drinks. They use the toast app- where you can order and pay right from the app once you scan the barcode at the table. They allow you to sample before you buy. Met my little Sis for dinner at Wasabi and I was so happy to see Narwhal's has opened a location around the corner at Streets of St. Charles! I've heard about them, but have never been. We popped in after dinner to catch up over cocktails and sat at the bar. They have a wide assortment of frozen cocktails and craft cocktails on draft, so I had a delicious draft Pimm's Cup. Fun place with incredible cocktails. Had a flight to sample more variety, maybe not the best choice when drinking alcohol but so many choices. Think a few bad decisions started with with similar approach, but not tonight. The Banana Dave was like sitting on an island, banana came through and was the favorite on the flight. The Salted Carmel White Russian gave the Banana Dave a run, and was a close second, a tad sweet. The grasshopper came in third, minty but just a tad bitter. Now the hand crafted old fashion was the star of the show. Perfectly crafted, a balance of bourbon and bitters with the right amount of simple syrup. This place is a go-to spot for me and my friends to hang out! The drinks are always good, there's always a wide variety of drinks to choose from, and the staff is very nice. What makes it even better is that Loaded, the nacho restaurant, opened up right next door. So now, you can get drinks AND food at Narwhal's, since the Narwhal's staff brings your Loaded order to you. I think my favorite part about this place, though, is the way you order/pay. I've seen more restaurants start to implement this, but Narwhal's does it the best: you don't have a waiter. You order online and pay right then and there at your table. You can always order more, and your drinks come out within 1 minute of ordering. No waiting for waiters to deliver the check, no waiting for menus, and you can just get up and leave whenever you are done. I definitely recommend this place! read more

Another part has couch/lounge seating options. A small part in the back has tables and booths. Tried the 3 slushee flight. Decent size for the price. Taste is good and alcohol strength is decent. You'll start to feel them after two or three. Staff is friendly and busy. You'll order scanning the QR code. I love that you can order Loaded Nachos who is right next door to where you are seated.
