Don't get the shrimp. Where were not fresh smell and taste rotten and shortly after had an upset stomach. Don't do it.

Fish is good, shrimp are terrible. Came with the family meal after a long day at work. Ending it on bad note. Don't do the shrimp!

We were so hungry after moving into our apartment. Found a place nearby after dropping off our uhaul. Place was clean, parking was easy, and service was fast and easy. Will update on the food, but it looks good and smells great in here. Angelika and cooks were very kind.

This place is needs a good dusting. The guy at the counter is rude. I handed him my money and he throw my change back at me. I looked at him and he apologized. He continued to do this with everyone. The can good the sell is dusty and dirty. No effort is put into ensure they dust it. $3 for a box of jiffy corn bread is crazy and price gouging to the fullest.

The food here is decent. I've been to this location about 5 times and the staff is always kind. I usually get the combo dinner, 5 fish (I get red snapper), 5 shrimp and 5 oysters (all fried). It comes with fries, hush puppies and a small salad. Again it's ok. The upside is that they accept ebt food and that's great when you can't cook at the moment due to certain circumstances. The potato salad is really good though and I truly recommend. They close pretty early (8pm) but it seems most of the stores in this area/plaza do, in general. It's worth a try to see what you think for sure though. They also sell convenience items like rice and etc on the side like a mini market so that's a thing.

Fire. Fresh. I came in because of the smell I got the red snapper and shrimp lunch special, added macaroni salad and shared it with my son.

Best fried fish and oysters dinners in all of Los Angeles. Made with love. The workers are all kind and always serve you with a smile!

The food is rather priced high for the quantity of food, which is comparable to two bites. The raw bar's menu is also very limited, especially for substantial food, so have your expectations set before attending. Food standouts were the hamachi crudo and spicy pomodoro pasta. The flavors and textures in the crudo were refreshing and I enjoyed the grapes that added a sweet flavor to the rather acidic bite. The pasta's sauce was very comforting and the pasta was a great vessel to give pops of sauce in each bite. I wish that the dishes had a bit more substance to it, given the price. However, the oysters were kinda letdown. The oysters didn't have much flavor and the sauce they provided was very 1D. The strawberry tiramisu was fun and interactive to flood the cake with sauce. It tasted exactly like the nostalgic strawberry shortcake popsicle. Given the $16 price point, I wish there was some fresh strawberry included and taste a bit less like artificial strawberry milk. The bathroom can also be a photo spot, as it looks like you're in a cave. However, it was very dark inside. Luckily, I found some toilet seat covers from inside the wall? LOL Otherwise, the service was fantastic and attentive. Parking is either valet or street parking which isn't hard to find in the neighborhood, just requires a little bit of walking. The interior and exterior was transformative and teleports you to Greece. Definitely go if you want to experience the aesthetics with a taste of food.

I got there with my mother and was greeted by a very lovely gentleman named Clark. He told us we could sit wherever so we seated ourselves in the outside area. He came over right away with the menus and asked if we had been there before to which we responded had not. He went over the menu with us and answered any questions we had regarding the menu. He was very sociable and friendly. We chatted with him and put in an order for the Kiwi Chowder. I ordered a Modelo and my mother ordered a glass of orange blend wine. He came over with the drinks a while later and the Kiwi chowder and have us plenty of time to sit and enjoy the dish before we ordered our main courses. The kiwi chowder was delicious and came with little crackers. The clams and mussels were so tasty and the Ora King Salmon was a nice treat. After a while he came back and served me the Fisherman's Mixed Basket and my mother got the Fish tacos with fish of the day for them being Sword Fish. The fisherman's basket was amazing and paired perfectly with my beer. I had never had clams, mussels, snapper, and oysters all together and they were so good I wish I could have them more frequently. The place was very cute and sat quietly with good music playing. Not current music but music that really fit the place and set the vibe. I will be coming back here and if you ever go, there is no bad choice for the fish, the service is stupendous and I haven't gotten anything like it in forever, and if you meet Clark enjoy a friendly conversation with him.

The last time I went was on October 3rd and September 12th of last year, so it had been almost a year since my last visit. The very first time was last summer with about 10 members from my Korean community group. We all thought the food was really delicious, and that's why I kept coming back. As you would expect from such a popular restaurant, there are always a lot of people here. Yesterday was no exception, and there was a pretty long line outside. Fortunately, the line moved fairly quickly, so it didn't feel too bad. After we decided what to order, I was reminded again that the prices here are quite expensive for a restaurant located inside a food court. Last year, I ordered for all four of us at once, and the total came to almost $200. So this time, we decided to pay separately for my mom and myself, while my two brothers each paid for their own meals. I ordered two of my absolute favorite dishes here, the Tostada de Kanpachi & Uni. This is something I really love because it tastes so fresh and delicious every time I have it. It's definitely a must-order dish for me. I also ordered two Taco de Pescado al Carbón. Those four items alone came to about $70. I also remembered that I had tipped way too much here last year, so this time I only left a $5 tip. (It is the food court system, even they bring the foods to our table) That brought my total to $75. My brothers ordered the large Brazilian fish, the Tostada Uni, and ceviche. Everything we had was delicious overall, but honestly, the tacos I ordered yesterday were not really for my taste at all. So next time I come here, I don't think I'll order the same tacos again. On the way to the restroom, I noticed people at another table eating lobster. I asked them where they ordered it from, and they told me they ordered it from Holbox. It looked absolutely delicious, so I'm definitely going to try the lobster next time I come here. I also really like that they have a water station near the section where people line up outside. There are cups available there, so you can help yourself to water while waiting, which is very convenient. One downside is that the restroom always has a noticeable smell. Fortunately, it's located quite far away from the dining area, but it also doesn't look particularly clean or sanitary. Another thing is that you have to eat certain dishes, especially the tostadas and tacos, with your hands. I personally don't really like eating food with my hands, but with tostadas and tacos, there's really no other way. After washing my hands in the restroom, the smell of the liquid soap is also quite unpleasant and strong. Unfortunately, I can still smell the soap on my hands while I'm eating, which bothers me quite a bit. And because Holbox is always so incredibly popular, finding a table can be difficult. Luckily, we were able to get a table pretty quickly yesterday. Overall, I still really enjoy coming here for the fresh and delicious seafood, especially the Tostada de Kanpachi & Uni. Even though there are a few things I don't love about the experience, the food itself is definitely why I keep coming back.
