The ambience of this place is great, it has a bar and arcade games as well as bowling, which can make it a very fun date. My only critique is the food. I ordered a hot chicken sandwich and it was saturated in oil and did not come with the ranch dressing that it was described to have. It came with one piece of lettuce and two pickles which I just found to be underwhelming, but it is a bar after all. The bartender was nice and explained everything since it was my friends and my first visit. Our waitress did a good job taking care of our party of 7 ladies on a busy Saturday night. She kept us hydrated with cold ice water to help with the summer heat AND kept checking on us as we waited for our food. We mostly ordered hot chicken, wings, tenders (various ways) & one friend ordered the puled pork french fries. I had the Medium hot tenders with fries & a lemon pepper side with ranch & it was a 10/10. Apparently there was an upstairs section with more to do, but the downstairs area had a few bar seating areas and high top tables with a view of arcade machines & a mechanical bull. This location was really something else. We had walked in here because one of our friends was leading the way, and this is deafly one of the locations on the main strip of Nashville for more of the younger generation. There's a lot of young folks who come out here to drink in their late teens and early 20s and considering my group was all in their 30s. It was definitely a little bit out of our comfort zone to be around here. We felt like we were in high school again and it was super nostalgic and we honestly had a really great time, but the drinks were absolutely terrible and water down. I really do wish that this place was a little bit more clean. I would highly recommend if the waiters and waitresses could walk around and just wipe the tables at minimum as people are coming in and out. I can't recommend this enough! We had a group of 4 kids ages 5-8 and this was perfect for them! It was the perfect outlet for them to be able to go to Broadway, listen to music from the streets and have something fun for them! It's near the end of Broadway so we parked at 5th and Broadway and walked. This was their favorite part! Loved this place!!! The reason I wanted to go was mainly for the mechanical bull but they had a bunch of other fun stuff to do! I visited on a Friday night when my friends came into town. I figured this place would be the ideal spot on Broadway since not everyone was into the whole drinking and dancing scene. We played a few games, rode the mechanical bull and then ate dinner. For the games and mechanical bull, we had to pay for a game card. Two rides on the bull was $10. It was fun and the person operating the bull was very friendly. I tried to call and make reservations a few weeks ago since open table would not allow parties bigger than 6 but they never answered their phone. We ended up making reservations for 2 parties of 5. We got there around 6 to play some games first but at 6:45 it still was not too busy which surprised me. All 9 of us were able to find a table on the third floor without any wait. The food was mediocre but I guess Broadway isn't know for its food. The margarita flatbread was good and a very decent portion (easily a meal for 2). My buddy and I were looking for a place in Nashville to watch Ohio State game. After a bit of research we discovered Nashville Underground is known as the place for Buckeyes to go. The bar itself was huge. The 2nd floor seemed to be devoted to the game. There were a ton of OSU fans there and the bar had a DJ that would play Ohio bands during the breaks and Buckeye classics like "Hang on Sloopy." The atmosphere was the best part of the place. The first table we sat down at felt like it was barely attached. I could easily spin the top of it on its base. I tried another table near by and it was about as bad. Finally we found a table that was useable and moved there. We sat at the table for about 45 minutes before a server finally came by. The service was very poor and we barely saw our server. She'd walk by occasionally, but seemed like she was staring at her feet whenever she passed. I had to wave my arms like a crazy person to maybe get noticed. When I was finally able to order some food I ordered a chicken sandwich and fries. The chicken was pretty bland and was topped with the biggest piece of lettuce I've ever seen. My buddy ordered the mac and cheese with fried chicken. I tried a bite of his and it was actually pretty good. They also had a special on 2 beers which ran out the second we got there. Which was about an hour before the game started. Overall the experience was pretty disappointing, but it was nice having a place where all the Buckeyes could get together in Nashville. read more

We try to come here during college football season for the Ohio State watch party which happens every game day that they play. We've also brought friends here from out of town. One of the things we enjoy about the party is the dj who plays during time outs and half time. So much fun! (The one they had 10/26 was a sub. He was not as good). The food during the watch party is ok as are the drinks. Note that your tab can add up pretty quickly so definitely check out the specials. The crowds are typically very fun and friendly. Our team was in Nashville from all over the country and we decided that there would be something for everyone at this spot. The view from the roof is stunning and for being right downtown, it wasn't too loud. The chicken was decent, but the collards came out ice cold. Our server was alone so I didn't want to ask for anything special as she not only had our table, but the rest of the rooftop and the bar. I wish they would have given her a little more help. There were no customers in the rest of the place until later (we got there around 6) and they had 2-3 bouncers outside. For a Tuesday night, I wasn't expecting busy but they also knew we were coming. I was nervous to eat here because people averaged rating their experience as 3 stars. Usually, a 3 star eatery in NJ can be a hit or miss when it comes to food that I am able to digest comfortably. Given this was Thanksgiving Day, the restaurants with 4 or 5 stars required reservations days in advance, so it was a pleasant surprise to learn that the standards in Nashville are so high that a 3 star restaurant here is equivalent to a 4 or 5 star restaurant in NJ. To start, I decided to try the American Mule. It was such a smooth and refreshing drink that I had two with my meal. It went so perfectly with the heat of the Nashville hot chicken and waffles. The waffles in the Nashville Hot Chicken and waffles entree are where amazing! Alone, it doesn't need any maple syrup. It's sweet and flakey and just the right amount of doughy. But as a base for the Nashville hot chicken, it paired perfectly with a bit of maple syrup on top to counter the heat (since we got medium). The chicken by itself is very salty, but it was moist and well cooked. As a combination, the salty chicken, the sweet, flaky waffle, and the combo of the sweet and spicy maple syrup and Nashville hot sauce was absolute perfection. The BBQ Chicken Flatbread was also super delicious and perfectly prepared. It had just the right balance of crisp, cheese, BBQ, and chicken. The Fried Green Tomatoes was also a really great appetizer (even though the food came out all at once). I suggest ordering your main meal after you receive your entree if you would like to separate your appetizers. However, I enjoyed transitioning my bites between the 3 dishes. Overall, it was a great non-traditional Thanksgiving Dinner, which is exactly what I was looking for this year. read more

We made reservations here for 2:30 on a Thursday just for drinks, but honestly we didn't need to! There were people there but I saw a lot of open tables, especially upstairs which is where we sat. This place is good for a pit stop for drinks while going out with friends, and that's it. I wouldn't recommend coming here with your family or on a date. The drinks here were alright - something that was weird was they would come in different sizes. I ordered a Nashville Punch and it came in a plastic cup, then when I ordered it again it came in a much smaller plastic cup. The same thing happened for other of my friends' drinks, so the sizes were just inconsistent (also not worth $12 especially the smaller sized cups). Our server was cool but she didn't check up on us a lot. We didn't see her for about 30 minutes and looked over and saw she was sitting at a table talking to people, so we just went to the bar to get more drinks.
