I have had nothing but good experiences with Dr Khadavi. I am super skeptical with dental offices but I always feel comfortable with Dr Khadavi. She takes the time to fully explain her services before starting. She highlights the good and bad of any procedure and never pressures or do they use scare tactics like prior practitioners have. She takes her time and gets the job done correctly. Take my referral, you wont be disappointed. I referred my mom for a cleaning and some bridgework, it was done perfectly, she was very pleased with the outcome. Pre-Covid they just dropped her because she wasn't on a PPO. After Covid there was no notification, no nothing. I had to call to find out what happened. They took out many of her teeth to do a procedure that never happened. So disappointed with them. read more

I prioritize finding a wonderful dentist, hair stylist, and PCP whenever I move to a new city. I got really lucky with Dr. Khadavi. I love Dr. Khadavi. She is warm, caring, calm, and excellent at what she does. I trust her with any dental work I need, and she also happens to know my endodontist. Dental work can sometimes induce anxiety, and it helps to have a dentist whose has tranquil energy. Daisy, who manages the front desk, is also great. Unlike in other dental offices, where waiting 10-15 minutes is common, I never wait when I'm at Dr. K's office! A huge plus :) She moved to a bigger, nicer office earlier this year, which makes my visits even more comfortable. Plus, now there's easy parking in front of the office for those who need it. I got my night guard through her earlier this year and it was a very reasonable price compared to what I was quoted in DC. read more

This is regarding amalgam fillings that Khadavi gave me even though silver fillings aren't practiced in most dentist offices anymore because of how dangerous mercury is to our health. I just got my silver fillings replaced and feel a huge difference already! The poor review has to do with a misleading IN NETWORK business addresses and out of the Network business address. My insurance has dr. Khadavi as IN NETWORk but because the doctor has another address she can charge you as she pleases. My out of the pocket was hefty to say the least. So please be careful to check with your insurance to make sure he/she doesn't have various business addresses and you end up paying Hundreds out of pocket. The thought of the flipping dentist makes me clench my butt cheeks and break into a cold sweat. Let's just say I had a prior experience that was so awful that the hygienist in the room cried. Other Yelpers have said it all: This is a caring doctor who takes pride in doing excellent work, and treats each patient with care. I've had the unique experience of visiting Dr Khadavi both when I was unemployed and on DentiCal, and continued to visit her office once I was back at work and got better insurance. YES, the advice I got was a little different, as it SHOULD be. Dr. Khadavi and her staff were consistently kind and professional. They talked me through all the available options, and naturally, when I had minimal insurance and almost no money coming in, the scope of those options were more narrow. Frankly, I appreciate how understanding she was about my financial situation, and how knowledgeable she was about what would or would not be covered. She clearly wants to make sure each patient gets quality care, and does what she can to make the most of their means. This place has to be a joke or they must be soliciting reviews for service because my experience thus far has been nothing short of ineptitude. I usually don't write reviews on Yelp but I figured I oughta clear the air with this place. It all started about a week ago. After researching tons and tons of dentists within Los Angeles I came to the conclusion that I wanted Doctor Khadavi as my dentist after combing through all her reviews and credentials. She seemed to be a good fit for my family's dental needs considering that she had extended weekend and late afternoon hours. The problem lies entirely with the inefficiency of her office staff. I had told them my boyfriend and my name along with our approprate dental insurance carriers. I have Delta Dental PPO and my boyfriend has Blue Cross Blue Shield PPO. They made sure to schedule our appointments almost immediately even before knowing if our insurance would cover the costs or not. The office called me back a couple days later and told me that they couldn't verify my boyfriend's insurance. I came to find out that they took down the wrong last name. (Obviously they didn't listen). Then they said they would call me back a couple hours later to reconfirm. A couple hours later was a broken promise as they failed to call me back at all. A mere two days before our appointment I started to get frantic so I decided to call the office again. They must have caller id because the girl that picked up the phone said, "Hi Debbie" instead of addressing the business name. I got a little startled at first considering here was this complete stranger talking to me so casually. I mean, really? If you are a business then address me properly. I am not your friend that you can talk that casually to. I'm a prospective patient and customer and this is where my initial contact with them all went downhill. So the girl on the other line continues to tell me that she knows she was supposed to call me back but never did because she was so busy and couldn't reach the insurance company. Again, that's not my problem! You had a week to verify this information and just two days before our scheduled appointment you tell me this? Clearly, no respect for my boyfriend or my time. We don't want to sit around for weeks anticipating to see a dentist only to be told at the last minute that our services might not be covered. The final erroneous casualty that put Dr. Khadavi's dental practice on the shit list was my most recent phone call to her office. After careful consideration I had decided to call this place and cancel both my boyfriend and my appointments. The gal recognized my number once again and answered the phone saying, "OK Debbie" never once mentioning the business. Informal and disrespectful! All in all, I must say that there were too many varaibles put into the equation that made me upset. If their lack of communication and inappropriate behavior is any indication of things to come, I'm sure the dentist can't be much better. First impressions are vital to businesses and in creating relationships with lasting customers. Dr. Khadavi's office just lost two potential customers. read more

Since moving from the Bay Area, I found looking for a good, honest dentist in LA was an impossible task. Then, came along Dr. Natalie Khadavi who has restored my faith in dentistry once again. I found Dr. Khadavi through a Valu-Pak mailer and first took advantage of the 30% coupon to have a partial crown put in. Her price was already $400 less what my HMO dentist quoted me, so I actually paid out of pocket for her to do the work. I loved the experience so much that I switched from an HMO plan to a PPO plan so that I can have Dr. Khadavi as my regular dentist. I recently went with my husband, who has not been to a good dentist in years, for our first cleaning with her and she took great care of us both. Dr. Khadavi is very kind, easy to talk to, genuinely cares about her patients and doesn't look at you as someone who is there to pay her bills. I know Dr. Khadavi personally and completely trust her as my dentist. Not only is she professional and kind and caring, but she is also a very skilled dentist. Her office is full of toys and stickers, perfect for kids but also makes the whole dentist environment amusing for adults. She takes personal interest in her patients and won't just write you off if you're in pain. Unlike most dentists, Dr. Khadavi is very flexible in her scheduling and can totally make weekend appointments for working adults. How great is that! The parking situation- there's one reserved spot for patients in the back but there's always unlimited street parking near the office. Super awesome, nice and doesn't up-sell you at all. What do I mean by up-sell you? I will explain. I can't tell you how much I hate dentists (usually in Beverly Hills) that try to up-sell you and make you feel like some horrifying medical problem will happen to you if you don't pay them hundreds of dollars for extra services you don't need. I even had a dentist in Sherman Oaks tell me I needed to come every four months. I have never ever had one cavity and I'm 31. I have great teeth. These people are just trying to make $. I think it should be illegal. I'm not buying a used car people. I'm at a doctor's office. So messed up. Anyways, Natalie doesn't do that AT ALL. She is super nice and does a great job on your teeth and even gave me a free bleach pen. And it worked surprisingly well. I appreciate Dr. Khadavi's enthusiasm, but I probably will not be going back to her office. Like many others, I was no longer covered by my parents' insurance when I turned 26. I applied for Obamacare and qualified for Medi-Cal/Denti-Cal. I was in need of a dentist asap because my 10-year old filling cracked. After researching thoroughly, I found Dr. Khadavi on the Medi-Cal/Denti-cal provider list and chose her to replace my filling because of the good reviews I read on yelp. Her staff was friendly, and there was no one at the office when I got there. Another patient came in while Dr. Khadavi was working on my flling, and from the moment he walked in, I felt like she was rushing the job, trying her best to finish her work with me so she can see the next patient. It worried me, but I didn't say anything because I knew she was the only dentist there, and I probably didn't want her patients waiting too long (understandable). The FILLING SHE GAVE ME LASTED ONE MONTH before it fell out of my tooth. It was frustrating because the previous filling lasted TEN YEARS. I called her immediately to express my frustrations and she accommodated me the next morning without hesitation. I'm sure Dr. Khadavi is a great dentist, but I've never had this negative of an experience with a dentist which is why I won't be coming back here. read more

I began my journey with Dr Kkadavi when I looked up best dentist for children. My daughters had each had a horrible experience with their last dentist. I would mention teeth cleaning time and both daughters not happy. Dr. Khadavi got 5 stars for dealing with kids. I bring mine in neither of them happy. She was so gentle so calming that their fear of going to see the dentist is now gone. I was excited that she she not only sees kids but, she cares for my whole family. Natalie is a great, caring dentist and I trust her with my teeth. I started going here when I got insurance last summer. I looked around on Yelp for a highly rated dentist, found Natalie, and called to see if they took my insurance. Went in for my first appointment and we found a cavity. The appointment was your run of the mill check up but she managed to get my cavity filled right then, and incorporated my teeth cleaning. Only cost $75 to get the tooth fixed, thank goodness for my insurance. 6 months later they call to schedule my next teeth cleaning. Get an appointment only a week away, go in after work (since she has late hours, yay!) and I'm out of there in a half an hour. Natalie will explain anything you ask her, and it's great having the dentist clean your teeth. I was a little concerned about some pain I've had around my crowns/root canals. She did some extra x-rays to make sure they were okay, just because I asked. Love it, great dentist! Highly recommend! read more

I should start by saying that I'm terrified of the dentist - always have been. So I searched Yelp to try to find a dentist that would be sensitive to the fact that I'm a grown woman who acts like a child when she's in the dentist chair. After reading the reviews for Dr. Khadavi, I decided to give her a try and I'm extremely happy I did! Dr. Khadavi was understanding of the fact that I needed a friend to come hold my hand and she had Disney music/movies playing in the office, which immediately put me at ease! She also let me hold the thing that sucks water out of my mouth while she's working on my teeth - this helped me not feel like I was going to choke (one of my big issues with going to the dentist). Also, the office is very small but seems very high tech! I was able to see the X-rays of my teeth as she was taking them! It was very cool and a nice distraction :). I strongly recommend this office for anyone who is afraid of the dentist or for kids who are going for their first time (maybe they won't develop a fear of the dentist like I did)! read more

The office was clean and quaint. The staff was uber friendly and Dr. Khadavi was friendly and has a soft touch! My last dentist was a guy I played tennis with so HAD to go to him - but he had the damn biggest hands in the Guiness book! I've had terrible experiences before with dentists who were only too happy to over charge me but didn't provide the time and care I paid for. Natalie spent the time explaining what she was going to do before doing it, making sure I wasn't in pain and afterwards making sure I knew how to take care of my teeth after the procedure. I was even more pleased when I got a follow up call by her to check up on me and answer any questions I may have had. Going to the dentist can be scary, especially when you really dont get what's going on or why they are injecting you, pulling things, or using extremely sharp tools. The first dentist who gave me back hope that it's possible to find a good dentist. To me, finding a good dentist in LA is the equivalent to finding a good car mechanic. Needed a good cleaning and called several dental offices in LA. Many seemed bothered by my questions but not this office. I told Dr. Khadavi about my previous horrid experiences at other dental offices and she seemed genuinely concerned. The best part is that she does the cleaning herself with her assistant. I have had very bad experiences with dental hygienists so prefer the dentist to do my cleaning. Anyway, she took her time, did not rush, and was careful to clean my teeth very well. The best part is that she does a follow-up appointment to ensure she didnt' miss anything and your teeth are perfectly clean. She also filled some cavities and did an amazing job. I was concerned about using resins fillings due to their BPA but really didn't have a choice. However, I appreciated that this dentist cared enough to give me enough info for me to make a decision. I was so turned off by your office to a point where I hated even calling for my X-rays. If your office is so "small" like you say it is, you should know exactly what goes on with every patient that walks in your door. I've already gotten my deep cleaning elsewhere that is 1 million times better than your hellish dental office and I didn't even have to pay a penny for it. I had to reschedule a few times (I'm new to LA and had to move things around) but needless to say I spoke with various receptionists many times. When I finally made it in today, they didnt have anything they needed, and were giving me the run around about insurance. Every other dentist and or health care professional I have been to has asked me for everything they needed over the phone, verified it, and then called me back to confirm eligibility etc, that way everything went smoothly when i arrived for my appointment.
