My boyfriend & I love coming here. So delicious! & beautiful plating! The customer service is always fantastic, it's nice & clean, & portions are fair! Free chips & salsa is also always a +! Also the view is oh so pretty if you get to be overlooking the golf course. We love to come here for lunch dates.

I always have a great experience at Emiliano's! This place was walking distance from my old house, so it was the perfect place to grab dinner and a drink. They have an amazing enclosed patio that has a great view of the Admiral Baker Golf Course - the most amazing at sunset! I have tried many dishes here, you really can't go wrong with anything. Their chips and salsa is so good, and service is great (:

How to order mole inside Garden Burrito

Vegan/ vegetarian bliss for me. I'll be back. I usually eat half a burrito. It was so delicious I ate the whole thing. lol Ambiance sat in enclosed patio with window view of golf course crazies playing in Extreme heat wave. Lol. But air conditioning was just turned on. Even had a breeze by my legs as AC fully kicked in at around 10 minutes. Wonderful, Food deemed delicious by all 3. There was a shrimp burrito with rice and whole beans. Enchiladas Suizas that were beautiful. I got the Garden fresh Veggie burrito. As I'm only 6 months vegan I have overdone salsas instead of many oil based dressings on much of my food. I asked if I could please have mole sauce in my whole bean, mushroom, red and green bell pepper and rice burrito instead of red salsa. They did without a negative vibe. Actually the smile never wavered. Mole is my favorite go to. This one wasn't on the sweet side. More Smokey. Flavorful spicy instead of hot burney spicy. Receipt is not for the actual good prices. It is for showing how when I asked for mole sauce inside burrito instead of the red salsa the waitress just input that into order and it came out perfectly!

    Set up for my luncheon

This place was recommended by a friend after I had asked her if she knew of a good restaurant to have a luncheon for a group. I decided to check out the place prior to the event. I visited on a Tuesday and arrived at noonish. The crowd was light. The restaurant is at the end of a strip mall. Parking is quite tight and full towards the front of the restaurant. More parking is available further away from the restaurant. Let's get back to the restaurant itself. My first visit I ordered a cup of albondigas soup, 1 fish taco, Enchiladas Suizas combo and a flan for my dessert. My favorite was the fish taco, and the enchilada and rice. I forgot to ask for double rice since I don't usually eat refried beans. Today's visit which was my luncheon event, I ordered from the combination section. A Chile Relleno & Taco with ground beef, which included rice and beans. This plate was very good and went well with my cold bottle of beer. I felt that the groups food came out in decent time. We were a group of 14. The decor is fun, simple but makes a statement of what culture this place is about. There is indoor seating with air conditioning. Inside is mostly booths that did not work for our large group and that is why I opted to sit in the enclosed balcony. I would like to finally commend Anita and Randy for their outstanding service! On my first visit Anita was very patient with me changing my mind a few times, where to seat our group at the time of our event. On my first visit I sat out on the enclosed back patio with the view of the golf course. It was quite warm, but immediately the few closed windows were opened a couple of powerful fans were placed and towards the room. Randy and Anita take good care of their customers. That service continued at the luncheon event as well. First they allowed me to arrive early before opening hours so that I may set up for the event. Their politeness and attentiveness is a combo rarely found. Their patience and kindness lasted throughout our luncheon. Thank you Anita & Randy for taking good care of our group. I look forward to returning to have some good food and excellent service.

I came here on a weekday with coworkers for lunch and we really enjoyed it. We had a reservation and we were seated in the back patio with the great views of the golf course (hidden gem!). I tried the chicken enchiladas plate from the large menu and really enjoyed it. They also provide complimentary chips and salsa to start. The service was great - everyone was friendly. There were also other groups celebrating a birthday and the servers helped celebrate by singing a happy birthday. The location of this restaurant is tucked in a corner, but it does have a small parking lot which is great. Can't wait to come back and try other items on the menu.

Great little spot! Will definitely come back! Friendly and attentive staff! Food and drinks came out very fast! They refilled salsa and chips as they saw needed! Food was great, meat was tender! Enchiladas were great, it's hard to find restaurants that make good enchiladas. Chips and salsa is addicting! Chips were nice a warm and the salsa was very tasty. The margaritas was strong and not watered down, the large Size is enough to share! The only dish we did not care for was the Carne Asada Fries. The fries and meat were perfect...but it needed beans , salsa or pico on top to balance all the cheese they put on. View of the golf course was nice.

    Horrible.

This place was really good! The center is called golf view and I didn't realize that you actually get views of the golf course in the back which was really nice. We were greeted and seated immediately which was nice. The food was great too. Will definitely return next time we're in San Diego!

Emiliano's never disappoints. The food is authentic, fresh, and full of flavor. The pozole was incredible -- rich broth, perfectly cooked meat, and all the classic toppings that make it hit just right. The La Bandera enchiladas were just as good, with great sauces and portions that definitely don't leave you hungry. Everything tasted homemade and comforting, the kind of meal that keeps you coming back. They also brought everything out Hot & Freshly made. Highly recommend Emiliano's if you're craving real Mexican food done right.

Fish taco w/generous amount of fish!

Decided to stop in after getting my car fixed nearby. So glad we did. The customer service and food were amazing! Their salsa is super fresh and tasty, but SPICY! lol ask for the mild one if you can't handle the spice. Ordered their fish taco off of their daily happy hour menu, had the shrimp ceviche and shrimp burrito plate enchilada style with their white cream. The enchilada sauce was sooo goood! Overall, my husband and I was saying how pleasantly surprised we were that everything was so fresh and delicious. The staff was also on top of drink refills and great customer service! Also, the beautiful view of the lush golf course makes the restaurant space a great place to host large parties, or perfect for an intimate date night. Will be back again!

I picked a place off Google but when we landed there we were not comfortable stopping to park, so we looked again and decided to check out La Puerta not realizing it was in the Gaslight District. I am not a fan of the Gaslight District, which is why I am so mad!! I'm going to HAVE to go back to the Gaslight District!! The food was AMAZING!! I HIGHLY recommend the Potato Flautitas. It's the kind of dish I'm going to dream about, I'm salivating now just thinking about them. I also did the Pick 3 Street Tacos (and actually ordered a 4th). The Ranchero Shrimp and Grilled Veggie were top notch. The Conchinita was recommended by our waiter, and it was interesting, tasty but different. It could have used a little more pickled onion. The only one I would not recommend (shockingly, I thought it would be the easy pass) was the carne asada. It was too greasy. My husband ordered a carne asada quesadilla and said the same, it was too wet and soaked through the tortilla. But there were no many other delightful options, I would say just don't go traditional. But honestly my favorite thing on the plate was the side dish rajas con crema, seriously, that alone is going to drag me down to the Gaslight District. I'm even considering going to a Padres game just for the excuse. I'm salivating again! As for our waiter, Colin, he was fantastic. Very informative, made great suggestions and seemed genuinely pleased by our satisfaction. He was smiling the whole time, friendly and stayed very present. I highly recommend you get yourself through the door at La Puerta and sit down for a meal ASAP. (We ate the food so fast I forgot to take pictures.)
