I wouldn't say Nathan's has the best hot dogs but it is readily available on the strip and sure hits the spot the morning after a night of drinking. Hangover cure for sure. My go to order are chilli cheese fries with chili cheese dog. Something about chili soaked buns makes it so delicious. The fries itself are not crispy but more soggy. So its kind of like eating slightly fried potatoes with chili and cheese smothered over it. I do like soggy fries so it was still a treat. This New York New York location has a lot of seating and also offers burgers, pizza, cheesesteak, and chicken sandwhich. The place needs help. Pizza is good but they are understaffed (at least late night). And on one night we went there was only syrup coming out and we waited for them to put in the carbonation. The next night, there was a leak in the carbonation when I pressed for Mountain Dew and it would go all over my hand and cup lol. I have never been one for crinkle cut fries and haven't eaten all items at this location, but when you are will a group of people who are half intoxicated and looking for filling late night food around 130am, choices are limited. My SO was craving some chili cheese fries, not the best I've ever had, and not the worst. He loved them, but not saying much as he is easy to please. This place is located upstairs in the back near the restrooms and other fast food joints... from the looks of it, there are in a few MGM resort locations. I had chicken tenders at the airport restaurant. Wow.... they were awful. The thin strips of chicken were more like beef jerky than "tender ". They must have been under a heat lamp for hours. The coating had been cooked such that it was more like brown cloth than anything editable. read more

I was really craving a hotdog so this was the best choice for it. It's located inside the New York New York (2nd floor) and if you're stating on property, they can do room charge. I ordered the bacon cheese footlong, which definitely satisfied my craving. Nathan's Hotdogs is pretty iconic so you can't go wrong there. I didn't like that the bacon just laid under the hotdog between the buns instead of being wrapped around. It made it difficult to eat with your hands or the with a knife and fork. Being a former New Yorker, I occasionally dine in the NY-NY Nathans when I am on the South Strip. My taste buds hold Nathan's fries and super cheeseburger in high esteem. However my wallet doesn't. They charge double the price here (no surprise). I enjoy the Coney Island theme and dining environment. The oldies playing here put me in a relaxed mood. In all respects this dining environment reminds me of Johnny Rockets. If this were a regular brick and martar Nathans I'd have to have an insatiable craving for it to spend $15 for a medium coke, fries, and super cheeseburger. This was sub-par. Nathan's hot dogs are some of the best hot dogs you can buy but this restaurant must be production-lining them too aggressively. I paid about the same price for a 16 inch Chicago Dog at Windy City Beefs that was larger, tasted many times better and came in a third of the time it took me to get this sad tasting dog. It took me over 20 minutes to get fed between standing in line and waiting for my dog to come and that seems excessive for a hot dog. The bun wasn't toasted and was sort of soggy. The dog didn't seem cooked right. There was no snap to it when you bit in. It was a very busy restaurant but I'll just hold out for something off the strip in the future.
