We had dropped off his tire around 11 A.M, not hearing anything for the next 5 hours from either of the two men working at the shop. We called around 4:40 P.M only to find out they were JUST going to work on my fiancé's tire, and less than ten minutes later they called my finance back, letting him know he was "missing his spline." We informed my fiancé's brother, who was paying for this (he even told the younger guy there that he wasn't paying at pickup. That someone else would be paying). He was confused, and we all went to pick up his tire. We had already found it weird neither one of the two guys working could explain shit to us. They couldn't explain over the phone or in person. The only thing they had said to my fiancé's brother was "if the wheel is like that, then the other part that connects to it should be damage as well too" (Drive Shaft) but when we had removed the wheel, we checked EVERYTHING, and it was not SHAVED DOWN the way they told us. We took the wheel at 11 A.M in good condition. Nothing was wrong. The normal wear and tear we have seen. But when we got back to the wheel, the "spline" in question was shaved off and damage. These guys half assed a job because they were irresponsible and lost track of time. They fucked up a part of the wheel needed. They mentioned buying the part from them or eBay. Don't come to this establishment. They won't own up to their mistakes. They find ways to scam and make a paycheck. And if you leave a bad review they might call you and try to guilt-trip you to take it down. Trust me. They got time to call and throw a tantrum for shit service they give. But they won't fix your bikes. They'll only mess them up instead of doing their job. As shown in the photos the Drive Shaft is perfectly fine and the other part of it is mess up (Hub Clutch) which they fucked it up.

Now I want to cover the real value. I am a 60-year-old beginner who recently took a two day motorcycle rider safety class in preparation for the road test. I'm not afraid to acknowledge that I am an over thinker, which sometimes results in a bit of anxiety. Marty and Carlos found a way to meet me where I was in terms of capability and mindset. Yes, they were great instructors. Yes, I passed the test. That is not what made my experience great. Marty and Carlos made it great by meeting me at a human level with caring and kindness until I was ready to go take the test. As always seems to be the case, the people make the difference. My bike was picked up July 11, 2026. Didn't get it back until August 11. Bike was dead and had been…read moresitting since 2018. Got a full tune up and clutch pack replaced. They didn't replace the 10 year old drive belt (extremely important!) Wasn't happy at all. Was told it "looked good" so wasn't replaced. If that belt snaps, rear tire could lock up while riding and could cause a crash, Never mind being stranded. Belt needs replacing every 3-4 years! Also needed two tires. They ordered 2 Michelins. When picking up my bike, the front was a Bridgestone and the rear was a Michelin. I was charged for 2 Michelins. Was told the Bridgestone was a "Bridgestone Michelin tire" and that the 2 tires were correct. There is no such thing as a "Bridgestone Michelin" tire. The mechanic didn't check tires before installation. Bike died 5 times between going home and driving it back to shop. battery was loose and the idle was way too low. Needed bike back quickly because it was going to be shipped to another state on August 13 or 15. New tire was in on Monday August 10 and wouldn't be done until Thursday August 13. Unacceptable. I had enough and picked the bike up August 11, got $65 back for the price difference of the front tire. Still have to get the drive belt replaced in the other State the bike is going to. Now I will be out more money for something that should have been done, as it's a safety issue. I simply don't recommend this shop because of extremely slow turnover and critical lack of awareness. Caveat Emptor.

I had to constantly chase them for updates just to find out what was going on with my vehicle. When I finally picked up the car, I noticed the hood wasn't sitting correctly. I brought it up immediately and was told it would "settle into place." Within just two days, the hood began to bend even more, specifically around the latch points. I reached out, hoping they'd at least re-evaluate the work, but instead, I was met with defensive and threatening emails stating they would void the warranty if I kept pressing the issue. To make matters worse, they had removed an emblem from the vehicle during repairs and assured me it would be replaced. However, the moment I questioned the hood installation, they told me they would no longer order the emblem and officially voided the warranty altogether. That kind of behavior shows a complete lack of professionalism and accountability. The only positive experience was the young woman at the front desk and the messenger -- both of whom were helpful and courteous. The insurance company for the driver who hit me recommended your shop for the repairs. 2. At no point did I ask you to falsify anything. I brought an oxygen sensor and asked if it could be installed, offering to pay for it out of pocket. Are you now denying that? 3. Regarding the accusation of falsifying: didn't you claim the hood was open in the final photos of the completed car? The hood was not sitting right, and you know that. Claiming it was simply open during photos is misleading. 4. I never claimed to be a public adjuster. I work on home insurance claims, so I'm familiar with adjusters and the process. 5. When I picked up the vehicle, I specifically mentioned the hood was sitting too high. If it had been hit, why were there no paint chips, dents, or damage to the bumper or surrounding panels? 6. You speak of integrity -- all I asked was for a fair reassessment. The situation deserved another look. 7. The car had the emblem when it was dropped off. After your team washed it and I picked it up, it was missing. I brought this up, and the response I received was that you had returned it but were not going to take responsibility for replacing it. 8. I genuinely tried to resolve this. I gave your team two to three weeks and asked for a re-evaluation of the work -- which was denied. Instead of acknowledging the concerns, I was met with defensiveness and my character was called into question. This is not how professional business should be conducted. I truly expected better.

What really blew me away -- they took me in with no appointment, had my bike done within an hour, and still left me with plenty of riding time for the day. From drop-off to pickup, the communication was clear, the work was thorough, and the attention to detail was exactly what you'd want for a Sportster. These guys genuinely care about their craft and respect your time. If you're in Chi-City and need someone you can trust with your ride, look no further. I had gone to many of the past ones in Chicago but then never offered good service and communication next to a reasonable turnaround time in repair or maintenance. Some are even cheating Motorcycle customers. Anyways if one is in dire need in Chicago to upkeep and repair ones motorcycle do go here. They are the only ones in downtown Chicago. Mike the owner of the business and Elvis his assistance even went above and beyond to put a extra clutch peg after leaving their shop. Their estimates for repair are reasonable and they try to work it out with pricing if it is too much to repair and insurance does not cover your damages. I got my 2009 Harley 883 sportster back and I am pretty happy since they got it fixed within less than a week. Do go here.
