On top of that, he was rude, dismissive, and carried himself with a complete lack of professionalism. His report was full of vague, unverified claims and speculation. In several places, he stated that certain elements were "not up to code"--but failed to cite any specific code or regulation. This kind of language is not only misleading, it's irresponsible and unhelpful. If you're going to make a claim that something violates building code, it's basic professionalism to include the actual reference. If you're looking for a home inspector who is respectful, thorough, and fact-based, do not use this one. This was a disruptive, disappointing experience from start to finish.
