I've never had worse customer service especially when I dropped 4,500 upfront. terrible at responding to questions in regards to the car. not helpful at all I had to go to another salesman to finalize the sale. which sadly they ended up still directing me to her. S C A M M E R S Do not buy from these scam artists. They sold me a car back in October and the very next day I had a check engine light come on. I brought the car into the Audi dealership the next week to get a safety recall fixed that Nations Auto had not taken care of prior to selling me the car. I was told by Audi that the check engine light corresponded with the transmission needing to be replaced. Then Audi attempted to submit a claim to get the transmission fixed. After the warranty company denied the claim the first time Nations Auto told me to wait until after the 1000 mile grace period so the warranty company would cover it. Fast forward to now and the car has been in the shop for months, the warranty company states it is a pre-existing (which it is), and the dealership refuses to return my or Audi's phone calls nor are they offering to assist with the repair in any way. I am now out both the cost of the car and the cost of the transmission repair. read more

When I first took my car home from Nation's Auto, a smallish used car lot off Colfax, I would have given a four or five star review. My salesperson- a gent named Z- let me test drive the car, take it to my own mechanic for an evaluation, held it while I ran a Carfax report, and then before I even started to haggle, wrote me out a breakdown of the lowest price he could give me for it (almost $1,000 below asking) and the total cost with fees. I was very pleased with the buying experience. That is, until I went to get my license plates and found out that someone in the office hadn't understood I lived in UNINCORPORATED Jefferson County, and charged me a couple hundred bucks in city sales tax that I didn't owe! The DMV lady at the Taj Mahal kindly explained to me that auto salesmen do this all the time and pocket the money, and that they likely didn't even have a license to collect city of Golden sales tax. She gave me a strongly worded letter to hand-deliver to them. I figured I was looking at a long fight to get the money back. Nope, I delivered the letter, they apologized for their mistake, and got me a check the next day when the owner came in to work. However, turns out the car has a few problems they may or may not have known about- screwy wiring (ever had your windshield wipers refuse to turn off until you turn the car off?) and some worn out hoses, minor stuff, but irritating. So normally I'd give a one or two star review for the tax problem and the issues with the car, but I was very pleased with the buying experience, so here we have a very fair three stars. I recommend it for a good deal if you know quite a bit about cars and car buying- novices like me, however, should stay away. read more

Stay away from this place I just went to trade in the truck I bought from this lot and I was unaware that car has been in a wreck prior to me buying it my vin on the truck is from Canada mean while the door vin is from a completely different truck. Shitty ass car lot with a shitty ass warranty company. I financed my first car there, a day after I made my first payment the engine failed. Great. When I called them to see if they would be willing to trade in the car, or work with me with something I basically got a "you signed an "as is" contract, talk to your warranty company, here's a list of mechanics". The whole engine had to be replaced + extra. They do not look out for their customers I was very excited to finally have my own car. About after a month of my car being in the shop, hell with the warranty company, well over 500$+ dollars I spent in Uber's and Lyfts that I should of not of spent because I should of had a car, making my SECOND car payment, still with no working car, and a 1900 bill with the mechanic that the warranty company only paid some of, they offered me a 200$ check even though "it wasn't really in their budget" well, none of this was in mine either. So cool, after a couple days I call to see if they had the check. Ciara had said they "took the offer off the table because I wrote a bad review." So ok whatever, I asked if I took the reviews down, could they work with me. She said that's fine and I called back when they were taken down (morning of Feb 25th 2020) and of course, I was told Alex would call me back, and of course, just like when I first called when my car broke down, he doesn't call back. I had the worst experience of my life! These guys sold me a car and on the way home the car overheated and stalled. I only made it 12 miles! I had to have it towed to a Volvo mechanic and he discovered that the entire engine was melted. I talked with Nation's Auto and told them that if they were really reputable, they would either put in a new engine or allow me to return the car. It has been a week and they have not returned ANY of my phone calls or emails. What sort of car dealership can operate like that. DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM NATIONS AUTO. read more

When I purchased a used car on 9/16/2008 on that day the owner and I spoke about repairs needed on the vehicle. with the time limit being 3 days to get the car pass emissions I had returned the car to the lot once every week for two days at time up until 10/15/2008. Each time I picked it up the repairs that were to be completed were never done. When I dropped it off on 10/15 the mechanic "Butch" stated that the owner doesn't want to do all the repairs and instructed him to do what ever he had to make it pass so they would be using an octane booster which in turn it could mess up the engine but that's what he told me to do. When I left the following morning to go to work on 10/16/2008 the car appears to run much worse. the transmission is slipping, there is a knocking noise under the car, something is squeaking under the hood, the car cuts off while riding for no reason, it completely has no take off and as agreed on the day of purchase 9/16/2008 the reverse lights still aren't working, there's no seat belt for the driver, the left back door doesn't open, the repairs to the belts under the hood, now when I call to speak to the owner about the unfinished repairs he is avoiding me by refusing to speak to me on the phone by hanging up when I call and instructing his workers to do so. Is there anything I can do to return or exchange the vehicle for something more reliable? Exactly what are my rights? Is there anything that can be done to help me? If he refuses to communicate with me does that make the contract void? read more
