A three stars because the portion size of the eggs, bacon toast was super small. Salsa was small packets like McDonalds and tasted like ketchup. Couldn't find any utensils. Tables were not clean but there was only two ladies working. Tons of napkins. However the breakfast burritos were huge! All three is us could not finish ours. Came to Nation because the place we were going to, Watson's next door had a line out the door. Because we were from out of town and in a hurry to beat Sunday traffic home, we settled for breakfast at this establishment. If you have more time, I recommend finding something different. Note: this is just a breakfast critique, not lunch or in the hamburger.

Good old fashioned burgers multiple pies . Slices are large, almost like two pieces. Milkshakes on the menu. Super nice staff. A good find while in the Napa Valley area. Will return next time in town.

Fiest ate her in the 1960's - so good need a lot of napkins because your face gets coated in yummy goodness. Burger was huge, excellent onion rings abd outstanding pies. Best deal is to get a pie to go but heading home so we stuffed ourselves once piece at a time.

The cashier, Phoenix, didn't seem happy to be there let alone greet a customer. He preferred to stare the customer down until I spoke first. Ok, I obliged. I start by asking about pies...they had none of the pies I love best from Nations...no strawberry pie, no chocolate pie, no sweet potato pie, no German chocolate pie...just 2 choices of cheesecake and pumpkin pie...so I ordered cherry cheesecake pie (tasted like it had been refrigerated for days) and a cheeseburger. The burger was meh, they just microwave precooked patties. The patties aren't freshly cooked like Nations is historically known for. Luckily I ordered onions rings, they had to freshly prepare those because theyre probably uncommonly requested. Nations has gone down over the years but I was hoping that this Napa location proved to be better. Unfortunately, it didn't.

LUNCHTIME! Oops, sorry to shout. We walked over to Nation's and arrived pretty much on the dot of noon. A couple of regulars were here enjoying pie and we ordered burgers. I got a bacon burger with cheese and everything, in a lettuce wrap because keto. It only took a few minutes and here's my lunch. It held up pretty well down to the end. Quite tasty and filling. The restaurant isn't fancy at all. It's not the cleanest either. But I'm just here for an unhealthy grilled burger, so no complaints. [Review 17588 overall - 384 in California - 1106 of 2022.]

We enjoyed the ample servings, cleanliness and great service for a reasonable price. The food was also good.

Customer service at the Napa location is not to friendly when taking orders. I also have to clean up the table to seat down and eat.

You order up front and your food is brought out with the number on the table. I ordered the lox bagel and green tea. Delicious. Y'all know he was expecting the macchiato to look like the one from that major chain. Apparently that made that up and it's not a traditional macchiato. Who knew. The fruit with his French toast was super fresh. Being from the St Louis Metro we don't really get fruit that fresh. So it was a treat. The chocolate croissant was a gift because we had a delay in our food being brought out. It was nice and flaky. Very delicious. A family came in for a little kid's birthday. It was quick. The staff handled the efficiently and got their food and them out with no problems. Well one kid lost a tooth on a bagel. I would totally go back. We loved it.

I placed my order and asked for muffins, but was told they were sold out. I could clearly see five on the counter, and the employee explained they were already spoken for. I mentioned my kid would be disappointed and asked if there was anything they could do. One employee immediately said no, while another kindly checked in the back and was able to find one muffin for us, which I appreciated. A little later I noticed packaged muffins in the display case and asked if I could buy those, but again was told no. Unfortunately, the experience only got worse from there. I realized after leaving that I never received the pizza I had ordered, and the avocado toast made me extremely sick. I spent the rest of the day dealing with what felt like serious food poisoning. I called afterward to request a refund ( I only asked to refund the avocado toast and the pizza) and left a voicemail. No one returned my call. I called again and spoke with someone who said the manager had just left and would call me back. Again, no response. They mentioned refunding my card and I gave my card digits, but I'm pretty sure I had actually paid cash. Either way, I mainly wanted to speak with a manager about the situation, and no one ever followed up. What's especially disappointing is that I live nearby, come here often, and genuinely love this place. That's why this experience was so frustrating. I understand busy weekends happen, but the lack of communication and follow-up after getting sick was really disappointing.

We started with the warm artichoke dip served with warm pita bread, so nice. In our group someone tried the soup of the day, but the time I looked over it was gone. There was an order of the Berkshire pork chop, the SF style cioppino, & a shared order of the fried chicken. Everything looked delicious, the person eating the pork chop did state it was a tad basic, yet overall cooked correctly. The fried chicken with mashed potatoes & braised garden greens was well done. The seafood cioppino looked great, did not smell fishy, always a plus.
