My review is strictly for Aldo in Customer Service! While I am not impressed with the Sales Team at all, which hung up on me when I called the showroom and then I called back and was treated less then kind. I do agree with other reviews that they are courteous when you make the purchase but the service does lack after. I am a patient person and always inquire kindly (since I understand supply chain when it comes to furniture) I was a customer service rep/sales rep my entire career, I trained customer service reps later in my career (including in the furniture industry) and I will tell you that Aldo went above and beyond from the very first email to him. He was kind, patient, eager to please and wants the best for the customer. He is a Gem and that many can learn from on how to interface with clients, showing them they matter and appreciate their business. Aldo's follow up through the whole process was amazing and greatly appreciated. While I will not be purchasing any other items from this store, I am truly grateful to Aldo and the kindness he showed throughout the process. We received our stools without a hitch, Aldo found an alternative delivery service to make sure we got our stools in time for the holidays which was not expected, but appreciated. read more

I bought an American Leather sleeper sofa and sleeper chair from Nativa. Laura, my sales consultant was very helpful with the selection process. Unfortunately this transaction happened during Covid when there were many disruptions in the supply chain for American Leather. Nativa's Customer Service team was pretty responsive in updating me on the ever-changing delivery date. Sometimes I had to ask several times before I got a reply. It was overwhelming and frustrating for all involved, but what can anyone do when there's no foam anywhere to be had?? At last my pieces arrived, and the delivery team was very quick to get them to my home, assembled, and to our satisfaction. read more

The dining table I ordered in early September finally arrived today, and is absolutely perfect (save for a small nick on a corner, which I'm sure Nativa will make right). The real star of the show, though, was the delivery team. Alfonso and his partner considered a couple of different points of access to the dining room, measured carefully, and were able to get the (extremely heavy) table in sideways through a patio door. Disappointed is the only way to describe our experience. We remodeled our entire home and purchased several items from the Solana Beach location, including a dining table, chairs, coffee table, bed and two bedside tables. Please keep in mind we have refurnished our ENTIRE 6 bedroom home and have used Arhaus, Roche Bobois and Design Within Reach but the only store that has given us a headache has been Nativa. Delivery has been severely delayed and without any explanation whatsoever. When we purchased our bedside tables we were told they were in stock and could ship in 4-6 weeks...I was informed today (only because I have sent two emails inquiring as to status as we are at the six week mark) that we will not receive them until December!! Are you kidding me? It's been this way with almost everything. I've had to send multiple emails to find out where the furniture is, nobody in their distribution center seems to know what is going on and communication is virtually non existent and sometimes rude. We've spent a good deal of money with them and this is the level of customer service so you can imagine the type you'll receive if you are spending less. I will say that the dining table that we've actually received is beautiful...sure would be nice to actually be able to sit at it in the chairs we've purchased. Maybe before the holidays, right? I'll never purchase another item from them again. read more

I never leave bad reviews, but I am so disappointed and angry with how Nativa has treated me that I feel I need to share. If I can give 0 star, I would. I am a true believer of shopping local. Unfortunately, I have had such a bad experience not once, but twice now with the service at Nativa. I bought an American Leather Comfort Sleeper (Queen Plus size) from them along with bed sheets. I was promised by the Sales Associate Michelle that the sheets will be delivered with the sofa. That never happened. Then I called Michelle and said as long as they can get the sheets to me by a certain date (right before my guests arrive) then that should be fine. Michelle reassured me the sheets will arrive by then. That did not happen, so I had to go out and buy other sheets in the meantime. Nativa refused to credit me or discount me on a portion of the cost for the sheets even though I had to spend additional $ to by sheets. Not only that, but this whole time, I had to be the one to call Michelle on numerous occasions to follow up on the status of the sheets as to when they are coming, even though she said she will call me back. Never heard from her! At this point, I also got the Customer Service Manager, Carolina Nuza involved and still nothing! Oh wait, I did get an email after the sheets were delivered to ask if it was to my expectations. What a joke! Then when the sheets finally came, I tried to put them on and noticed the sheets did not snugly fit the mattress. Come to find out they shipped me a Queen size sleeper sofa instead of the Queen Plus! I called Nativa and spoke to Michelle again and she told me she will talk to the manufacturer the next day and call me back. I hear nothing again, no call back, shocking! I had to call the next day and a different sales associate said "oh I know she ordered you another couch and of course you can keep the current couch until the new one gets delivered", like they are doing me a great big favor by letting me keep the current couch for now until the new one arrives. Wow! I asked if it will be expedited, but the sales associate did not have that info. The sale associate said she will have Michelle call me back. Again no phone call, silence. For such a supposedly high-end store in Solana Beach, you think they would provide great customer service. You would think they would try to fix their mistakes and make it right. Their excuse is their manufacture's mistakes, but look, I bought it from you, Nativa. Doesn't matter if it's the manufacturer's mistake, I am your customer, you should try to fix our relationship and provide good communication. I can't wait to get this sofa fiasco over with. When I do get my new couch, that will be the last time I buy from them. I will not be recommending any of my friends or family there, buyers beware. When you purchase from them, they are great, communication is flowing since they are taking your money. Once there is an issue, then they ghost you and don't want to deal with you. What kind of business is that?? If there are other sites to leave reviews on for this store, I will. I don't think I have ever had such a bad experience with a store before. read more

We found a beautiful Picasso dining table at Nativa with the help of Lori and Renee. We placed the order in March and received it in June. Well made and perfect finish on the walnut wood. Just what we wanted. Unfortunately in July, we damaged the top. Fortunately we had purchased the 5 year protection plan. Aldo in customer service put us in touch with Guardsman and we started the claim. After 3 months they finally honored the claim and once Gama the tech picked up the table top, he had it completely restored within 2 weeks. Aldo followed up to make sure it was moving. So we are pleased with the sales and the service provided by Nativa. And with the quality of the product. read more

I have been harassed and threatened by this business for placing a negative review. They even tried to go to yelp directly and asked yelp to remove it, but yelp reviewed the history on other locations and did not remove it. I am updating this review due to the amount of harassment I have received as a result of placing it. We purchased a solid walnut table here. They sent it to their warehouse to be refinished. It took several months and multiple phone calls/emails to get them to deliver the table. When they finally delivered it, they were about 4 hours late, our movers were there waiting and there was a damaged spot on the table. The customer service department that I called and spoke to was less than accommodating and very unfriendly. She had me send pictures of the table to their customer service mailbox. It's now been nearly a month and we haven't heard back from them. The sales team is very friendly but over promises on actions they don't deliver. I would expect better service than what we have received and will be sure to share our experience with our friends that we're considering this place. UPDATE: Nativa sent a "furniture medic" to our home to fix our table. The person they hired was an elderly man that claimed to do woodworking as a hobby. He said if he tried to fix the table he would do more damage than good because this was his hobby. Nothing else happened after that. Our table is still not fixed and I'm not sure it ever will be. read more

We did have a bit of miscommunication/scrambling regarding this delivery, but our sales person at Nativa Interiors, Erica, was fabulous to work with, our Concierge who was coordinating the delivery (Pam) really kept on it until everything was arranged, and the guys from Elite who actually delivered our couch and reconstructed it worked smart, we efficient, and were also wonderful to deal with. Absolutely love Nativa! They have beautiful and unique furniture and accessories. It took me a long time to decide on a sofa and to find chairs of appropriate scale and style, but Laura at the Cedros showroom was patient and helpful every step of way. Delivery took quite a while due to the pandemic, so I was very disappointed when my furniture finally arrived and one of the chairs had a flaw in the fabric. I contacted Laura, who referred me to Aldo in Customer Service. He is a true professional who handled everything and kept in touch throughout the process of getting me a new chair. We had to wait awhile for the furniture because of some supply chain issues. Staff kept us up on the progress. We had to have them hold part of the order for two months until the rest was received. They did this willingly. They scheduled delivery as we needed it and even changed the time when they Knew they would be late. The delivery Guys were great and moved the furniture several times for us. The customer service representative contacted us several times to settle the Bill to our satisfaction. Purchase sectional couch from American Leather for about $6K. The problem with this unit is that it sags when one sits in the middle of the straight runs, and did so within a few months of delivery.   I complained about this problem and Nativia (graciously) replaced the cushions, despite the fact that I told them the problem was with the frame and not the cushions. I pursued the problem with an upholsterer who showed me the webbing was loose and there is no spring frame. He thought the unit was poorly built and not worth the money. I regret the large amount of time I have wasted. Shop is nice, but be wary of the products. read more

Responding to your rebuttal Silvina. 1st my name is Kelvin not Kevin. Hope it's a typo error. 2nd the only change in the review was the warranty statement. The furniture manufacturer said they will do a courtesy repair even though it's out of warranty. I appreciated the business ethics of the furniture manufacturer very kind of them to do that. . 3rd what Catalina told me 8/12/21 2pm pst that the part is in. Nativa will repair the sofa if I remove or change the review. I said No. That's blackmail. She said that's their policy. I said what, blackmail your customers? I told her to call me when we can set up a repair appointment. She said she will talk to management. I said fine. I called Nativa 6 days later, 8/18 and 8/20/21 to see what's going on. Bottom line, poor customer service if there is one. I had to call the furniture manufacturer of the sleeper sofa to find out they were going to courtesy repair the sofa. I'm still waiting for a call from Nativa when we can proceed to repair this sofa. Nativa never gave updates of repair status. Like another review from another customer, they will threaten you to change negative reviews. Easier to just do your job. read more
