I had an amazing time staying at the tree scape resort. It's in a convenient location, and check in was a breeze. I love the QR code wristlet that acts as your room key and access key to the waterparks, it's brilliant really so you aren't losing the key all the time. I stayed in one of the hotel rooms, and it was very clean. A little sparse, but impeccably tidy and I was able to do work from my room. I spent mornings and lunch breaks lagoonside, and the water is amazing, zero chlorine. Can confirm the slides are wicked fun for kids of all ages, and I absolutely loved letting loose and running around on top of the inflatables. There's a gas station and restaurant right across the street too so if you need food or snacks there are options. Don't forget to bring a towel if you're enjoying the pool or the lagoon! read more

The location is nice. The check in person was not friendly and it was difficult to understand her when she was explaining information regarding our stay. It's a cute set up but the cabins and treehouses have no bathrooms inside them . One needs to go outside to use the one stall bathrooms. They were dirty , smelly, and small, and the floors were often very wet. Our cabin had dark spots from all the bugs that have been killed . Flies and mosquitos were inside the cabin, it made it difficult to sleep at night. The beds sink in , the bunk bed mattress was too thin. My son son could feel the wood when he slept on it. The lagoon closes too soon , at 7pm. The inside pool and hot tub made our eyes sting from the strong chloride. The sauna was nice . If you are used to camping ..this might not be too bad. I prefer a room that has no bugs and a bathroom. read more

It was super loud all throughout the night, and the beds were very uncomfortable. Bathrooms are disgusting. You will share 6 bathrooms among many people and they are poorly stocked or maintained with over half being plugged or having fecal matter on them. There will be a line the morning with a wait to use the restrooms. Yoy have to make your bed. The sheets and towel are folded on the end of the bed. The blanket is thin and cheap. This is more of a camping experience bitnthe state and county parks are better maintained. The staff is careless and dismissive. If you bring anything to their attention, they do nothing with it. The manager will say of yoy bring it to our attention it will be addressed and that is farther from the truth. The rooms are sandy as well as the beds. There was sauce splattered on our door and never wiped off. The bedside tables are chipped and scratched. It doesnt appear that they do any routine maintainence when you really look around. A lot of the buildings so wear and tear and need paint. There is little bits of trash laying around and the fire pits are not cleaned out after someone checks out. We stayed in one of the "tree house" rooms. We arrived early in the day and got wristbands for the facility but was too early for a room. We enjoyed both the swimming holes despite the awkward layout of the property. When it can time to cleanup before dinner, we encountered four out of the six bathrooms with feces and clogged toilets. We called the front desk to alert them. After returning from dinner, the six bathrooms were not in much better state. In the morning I waited with my kids in a 20 minute line to pee and was also faced with disgusting bathrooms. We camp in state parks, county parks, and private campgrounds, and have never felt such disgusting conditions. Management is off-site and in my opinion absentee. There are some positives to this resort, but the completely inadequate sanitation and absentee management makes this a "never again" for me. Also, the neighbors smoking joints at 10am make this not a kid friendly establishment. read more

We rented a suite and two rooms over the weekend. The pool was clean and lots of towels from the front desk. The rooms were big and clean and had lots of extras. The Lagoon did have quite a bit of seaweed but the inflatable area onsite was really awesome for the kids! So much to do in the water and out in the kids area. We also had free admission to the Land of Natura and Timbavati. Plan to make it an annual thing. read more

My daughter and her family arrived at the hotel only to find out they had to stay in a bungalow. Which consisted of unfinished wood walls and a bare minimum bunk bed. And no bathroom room. They would have had to go out and use the bathroom down the way from where they would have stayed. Needless to say they left and found a decent room at another hotel. And they won't be refunded any of their money. If I could I would have rated this place with a negative number. read more

Size really does matter. The stock photos of the one queen/bunkbed room make it appear spacious. However, they are not. You open the door and literally fall over the bed. The bunkbeds are right across from that. There is a small desk with two chairs and a small fridge and microwave. The microwave is too big for the top of the fridge. There is a small air conditioner but it does little to cool off the room. The cabin is dusty. The shades especially. Dead insects in the sides of the bunkbeds. I had to clean the moment we got there. How relaxing is that? No insulation in the cabins means the heat gets right in. It's 90 outside and 80 in here. We couldn't switch room types either. I went to the front desk right away to try and switch and the rep and the rep told me "Not to be mean after I told her the outrageous money we paid?" Not worth what we paid at all. It literally was an uninsulated shack with plywood, electric, a tv and dorm fridge. For a bit more we could have stayed in an actual hotel with water park. The four of us couldn't even stay in the cabin during the day because it was so hot inside. The air and fan were full blast and the air on 60! We were the second to the last cabin so far away from the bathrooms. There is a toilet and shower in a dinky bathroom. Two out of the 7 were constantly overflowing with waste. I wouldn't even step foot in the tiny shower. honestly, I've seen truck stop showers cleaner than this! i washed my hair in the pool shower the only thing moderately ok was the lagoon and indoor pool. However I did break two toes coming back from the drop off that has a series of rocks on it in the lagoon. There is a fire pit but no grill so we had to buy one. The gas station, also earned by Natura, had firewood for the fire pit. Lessons learned, too much work and not enough comfort in this getaway. My kid was also super itchy the first night with the bedding. We had to go to the front desk for new sheets. No bites, just gross bedding. Upon returning home, I immediately we washed everything we brought in case we brought something home. I've been on the phone trying to reach Booking.com to try to get a refund since we checked in. I was on hold 25-30 minutes each time with no answer and also texted several times. We paid over $600.00 for this dump and the hotel is only willing to refund $80? Booked Natura due to the affordable price & location in the Dells. It was easy to find & centrally located in the middle of all the action. We rented a queen bunk room. The room served its purpose and was pretty clean, but it was small. Amenities were scarce, like no pens/paper, no phone, no lotion, 1 hand soap, and toiletries were all in push tubes glued on the shower wall. There were the basics, which were all working. The room had a microwave, fridge , TV & 2 cup coffee maker, hair dryer, iron. If you wanted to unpack for more room, there was not even a dresser & walls were thin. My son loved the bunk beds and played on both beds. Our proximity to the pool and ice maker was bonus. We walked around the property to see the mini houses & tree houses. They looked really neat, but you are literally in a parking lot with no real privacy. Most did have fire pits, tables & grills. We visited in the spring, so the outdoor water park was not open, but it looks pretty cool. The pool was nice, clean & pretty warm. Towels were provided at the pool. It was ok for the value. Beware before you book a treehouse stay or cabin stay, there are only 6 bathrooms for over 50 people AND HALF OF THEM ARE COVERED IN POOP and always disgusting you tell front desk and they said oh someone will be in at 9 to check, we'll 9 is 4 hours from now and there's only 2 useable stalls for over 50 people! that is absolutely ridiculous the amount of times we had to walk to gas stations to even pee is stupid because there were no toilets that were usable. We came to American Resort to spend a quick family summer getaway at the Dells. I was attracted to come to this hotel because of the free passes to Noah's Ark and the zoo that is right next to the hotel which accounts for big $$$ savings. American Resort is not just a hotel but also a cabin campground and RV Park. The cabins and treehouses do not have indoor plumbing and so we decided to not rough it and get a hotel room. The rooms were basic but nice and clean and came with a large TV, microwave, and fridge. There are two hotel buildings and each one has their own pool and hot tub. The location is right across the street from the Top Secret amusement trap and the Wisconsin Dells Deer Park. The zoo is right next door as well. You are about a mile out from downtown Dells and within walking distance of most major attractions. Honestly, for the price that we paid for the rooms and the bonus offers we received, this place was a great place to say and our kids loved it. read more

We put a lot of thought into where we were going to stay the first weekend in October. We wanted the treehouse but didn't want to share a bathroom with COVID. so we got a standard room. Nothing special about it. The front desk is super friendly and warm but felt forced at times. The inside pools are your average hotel pools. The lagun is open year-round but not heated..... super bummer! I thought they were heated! Please do not make that mistake. The regular rooms still have old branding everywhere!!! No stay over service with COVID but what are you supposed to do with trash? Middle of the road location. Given the time of year we visited I am glad we came but might have choose somewhere else if the known the lagoon was not heated. Free tickets to the wild life park is a perk tho! read more

We stayed in a tiny house, it was clean and comfortable. But we were on the side of a parking lot near a busy intersection, not exactly the "natura" we were expecting. Our campfire literally overlooked the parking lot and the only view was the busy intersection and gas station across the road. What prompted me to post was some funny business with the $300 security deposit, which I had to remind them, after over 2 weeks, to return. They did return it after that, but when I questioned them more on how the system allowed it to happen, and if that happened often, they refused to respond. It just makes me wonder how many times this 'error' happens to people who don't watch their credit card statements as closely. read more

The stay was a 1 star experience to put it plainly. We rented one of the treehouse homes for a weekend of snowboarding at cascade and devils head. Unfortunately the nice drive up was the only nice part about our stay. After calling twice to be sure all of the amenities such as hot tubs and sauna would be working upon arriving we found out that neither hot tubs were working and actually had to argue with staff to get them to realize that the hot tub should not be the same temperature as the pool. So for night one that was out of the question as was staying in to watch tv as the WiFi was down as well, so we decided to go out to a different hotels hot tub spending nearly 50 dollars in cabs. When we got back we were locked out of our house for over 45 minutes in nearly -20 degree weather in our damp clothes with 1 person getting slight frostbite from having to walk back to the front desk about 10-15 minutes walk up the road. After finally getting back into our room we were told that while the door wasn't fixed they would be by in the morning-afternoon to fix it. This was just the first night. I digress as the issues fell on deaf ears and our lock still was malfunctioning for the rest of the weekend and overall the staff was unhelpful and implied that we should have been more grateful for the services provided and even tried to say that we had noise complaints from the neighbors which is unfounded and untrue as there was nothing to make noise with as the WiFi was down and we had no service! I've also coined a new slogan for you guys: "Welcome to Natura where the absolute bear minimum should be expected!" Thank you for a miserable stay and I hope no one makes the same mistake of staying with you that we did. I would suggest figuring out your lock situation before someone freezes to death from not being able to get inside while out in negative 20 degree temperatures. P.S. Rich don't lie about noise complaints when a guest asks to be reimbursed for added fees due to the ineptness of your business it is very unscrupulous and says a lot about the type of business you run! read more

The rooms were decent but the front desk let in all their friends to swim and there was no place to park. When I complained they laughed at me. No one spoke English I talked to. I had to walk 2 blocks in the dark to my room and park worried about my car all night and double park to load up. Very noisy hallways all night from none guests. Run! read more

Absolutely loved the treehouses when I stayed. The check in and out process so really easy. Stayed during more of the off season so the prices was great along with being one of the only people there. The decor was more than expected. It even had heat and air conditioning in the treehouse. I would recommend this place to anyone who asked. read more

We just returned from our stay in the Dells over the 4th of July weekend with 5 kids. The Natura properties were beautiful, well stocked with towels and and offered many amenities to enjoy. Our kids, ranging from 5-13, loved the lagoon and aloha beach's inflatable obstacle course. This was our first time at the Dells. Also a spur of the moment getaway and we were so excited to see they had a room available that would accommodate the 7 of us so last minute. We received paper wrist bands upon our arrival that we were told MUST be worn for our entire stay. Thankfully we were only there for 3 days. Paper & 5 kids who spent 3 solid days in the water is the dumbest thing I've ever heard of. The first wrist band came off after our first visit to the lagoon. I kid you not, it was just moments after the wrist band fell off that we were asked where the wrist band was. You greeted us at the gate, we just checked in, are you freaking serious?! You don't remember we all had wristbands when we walked in not an hour or two prior.,,, If you loose it and cannot turn it in to the front desk for a new one they charge you $20. Are you kidding me? Thankfully after searching we found a few remnants of paper sufficient enough to get a new one, but $20 had we not? Unbelievable..., You know my name, you have my reservation and know how many dates I'm staying..., We spent a hefty penny for the 7 of us to stay here for the weekend and the fact that the "wrist band police" were on our tail about it the entire time threatening to charge us $20 for a new one, could we not provide the ruined one, Is absolutely asinine. Do your guests a favor, & spend a few dollars more to provide plastic wristbands so you don't have to constantly harass the guests.., Water, beach sand, & paper has got to be the dumbest thing I've ever heard of & scolding for loosing one is so unprofessional. For the price we were paying I'd hoped for a treehouse and instead got a very plain looking hotel room, right next to a loud stairway that smelled of cigarette smoke. Not sure if they were out of the tree houses. We tried our room for one night but ultimately wanted out and they charged us a lot of money to get out of it. At first they said it was because we didn't give them enough notice, so we said we would stay one more night if that would help them and then they changed the story so that we still had to pay. They gave us about 20 minutes to clear out of the room. Service was terrible. I would strongly advise against this one with so many other options in the area. We had a much better experience at the Great Wolf Lodge and for roughly the same nightly rate. Pros: the pools were neat. Be aware! Just returned from last minute weekend to the Dells. Booked Polynesian resort. I'm not going to lie, room was very nice! Everything else was horrible! Indoor pool was a dump! So dirty, air conditioner was dripping from the ceiling, half the lights were working in the area and just broken stuff all over. There was garbage in every corner and the hallway smelled like urine. We walked to the indoor water park (such a joke) was so small & dirty. On the way to pool the carpet in area was soaked with water. Very gross! Door handle was broken in entrance of door. The outside looked so scary! Garbage everywhere! So disappointed! Also, this wasn't a cheap place to stay! Really not worth it in the end. Ended up getting a day pass at Kalahari. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. Everything was good until the final night. Myself and the two kids got wrist bands at check in for the lagoons. I was told if we need new ones to stop back in the office. Great! After the 2 days they where trashed anyhow. The kids took their bands off. We go into the office to get new bands and now they wanna charge me $64. I explained I'm staying at the park. She says since I don't have the old bands with me to turn in..we have to pay! Unreal. We find one wristband. So she gives us 1 new one and says the two of us who don't have bands will not be able to get into the lagoons. Whatever, I bought two wristbands for $42. Walk across the street and the lady says they are closing the lagoon in 5 minutes. That was the icing on the cake. I get it, the Dells is a money grab, we come to spend money. I just think it's absurd to request the old wristbands which are made of paper and are a 1 time use. It's not like they are giving out Apple Watches. Bunk beds+queen room was great for our 13-yr old twins & us, pool was just what we needed after a long day of skiing & location was great for a few attractions & dining needs. This is NOT a campground! This is a PARKING LOT (asphalt or gravel) with a few spaces available with hookups, fire rings and picnic tables. Sites are literally right on top of one another with no room to move. Literally a PARKING LOT!!! To further add insult to injury, when I made the reservation I was told that we would be given water park passes to Mt. Olympus seeing as this location is a Mt. Olympus affiliated location. I went to office the day before all water parks opened for the season and was told they would not have the complimentary tickets for Mt. Olympus until the following morning and please come back. I returned the following morning and was told by the girl at front desk that they DO NOT give out free passes and literally started yelling at me that no one had ever told me this and shoving her computer in my face saying that the website said no such thing either. Yelling at me! I was so embarrassed and asked her to please calm down and what did I need to do seeing as kids I was with were looking forward to going. $10 each for passes to NOAH'S ARK! WTF??? I thought this was a Mt. Olympus resort. She starts yelling at me again that I have no ida what I am talking about while I try to tell her the website clearly stated this is a MTO property. Purchase my passes and go back to "campsite" to let others know what has happened. At this point, EVERYONE is angry over a multitude of lies they have encountered while dealing with the staff over things plainly stated on the website or straight from other employees mouths. Several of us went back to front desk to speak with manager and the rude lady started yelling again that she could help us. After her yelling at us for at least 15 minutes, she finally called manager and he said he would look into our issues and call us back later in the day. Surprisingly he did call back a few hours later and was a condescending A*****e who resolved NOTHING but further propagated a bunch of lies with his rude voicemail. Funny, if everything we questioned your employees about,be it clearly stated on the company website or directly iterated from employees mouths was not the truth, why was the WHOLE website completely and entirely changed that afternoon? STAY AWAY! No one wants to "camp" in a parking lot. If a hospitality worker has no qualms yelling multiple times at a camping guest, I sure would not want to be a hotel guest and leave my room for fear that if I did, someone more than likely has the potential to pilfer through my things! Very disappointed. I made a reservation months ago and requested two tree houses next to each other. I called the morning we left to confirm and was assured my reservation was accurate. I was frustrated to realize they weren't next to each other, but across the street from one another. The young man at the desk was apathetic and unapologetic. He offered his only solution, with another unit in between the two that I rented. When I expressed my frustration he told me that they were not obligated to meet requests. I asked for a refund to go somewhere else that could meet my need and he refused. When I reserved the units, they assured me that my request could easily be met. When I confirmed they told me there were no problems. When there was a problem, they offered no acceptable solution, no apology, and little more than a shoulder shrug and it's not their problem. Their customer service was nonexistent. Do not stay here. They don't meet their promises and don't care. Their units are in poor repair. The door to one of the cabins was in very bad condition and has clearly been that way for awhile. read more

This place is a hidden gem tucked away near downtown dells. They have real treehouses with a regular bed and bunk beds with nice a/c. Whats is really nice is the bathrooms are outside the treehouse and super clean. The sheets and bedding was like new. The lagoon is something I haven't seen anywhere it's all natural and kids loved it. It was so peaceful and relaxing. The big kicker was it included noah's ark passes one heck of a deal. Walls in the hotel were very paper thin. You can hear someone peeing of how thin the walls were. Pools were okay hot tubs were okay Sauna wasn't working great. The freezer part of the fridge wasn't working in my room. Hotel needs a big upgrade for being dells resort. Kids were in the pool area and it has an echo so it's sounds like your being loud but your not guest were complaining that there was to much noise. Doesn't even deserve one star. Booked a hotel room for the weekend Friday-Sunday. Woke up Saturday morning and found a bed bug on one of us, needless to say we left that place fast. read more
