Great place to "add to" your grocery shopping, but for me it cannot be a one stop shop.

The best natural grocery and excellent prices. Only downside is that it is too far from where I live.

***Update to reply to management: Consumers should be able…read moreto make informed decisions about what they're purchasing especially with the recent Cyclospora outbreak affecting produce. My issue is not that the berries are repackaged nor is it about whether berries are in season locally. My concern is the lack of transparency. To me, the presentation and lack of labeling/pricing feel misleading as a customer. For example, if commercially grown berries (such as pesticide heavy Driscolls) are repackaged into open fruit baskets and sold in a store called a farmers market with no labels, pricing, signage, or disclosure of their source unless someone specifically asks, a customer could assume they're locally grown. (I'm using Driscoll's only as an example as again, I have no idea what brand you actually sell.) There's also a food safety concern. Repackaging produce into unlabeled containers removes Traceability customers rely on. If a specific lot was recalled because of an outbreak, how would customers know whether the berries they purchased were affected? I don't work for the Texas Department of Agriculture, so I'm not claiming any of these is a violation but the lack of transparency could raise consumer protection concerns. At the end of the day I simply believe customers deserve clear information about what they're buying. I hope this helps. * Original review: Super disappointed to find out the berries on the table by checkout are not local farms but instead Repackaged Driscoll or local Walmart strawberries / blueberries / raspberries ): what the heck! They're in open plastic bags in cute little baskets

I was going to bring one of their large 8" Berry Chantilly cakes to a birthday party in a few days…read moreso I came by to see if I could place an order for it. It was the 4th of July weekend so I wanted to be sure that this cake would be available. Sadly, I was told that they do not take orders for their cakes. Regardless, the salesgirl was pretty confident that one should be available. We came back a few days later and as I entered into the store a woman was walking out with one of the cakes I wanted. I held my breath and picked up my step and got back to the Bakery department. I was able to breathe as I found six of these cakes available for purchase. Whew! What a relief! My only suggestion is that they let you "reserve one" in advance. I would definitely pay in advance too, just to let them help me out by storing a fresh one for me. It was a bit stressful not knowing if they would have that cake available on the day I needed to pick it up. The packaging is pretty big for this cake. So big that it wouldn't fit in a traditional rectangular cooler. I had to put my cooler on its side and then slide it in. I carefully put the seatbelt through the cooler handle so it was snug. Since I was running a few errands on the way to the party, I wanted to make sure it stayed nice and cool. I brought the cake to the party and it was the star of the show! It was as beautiful inside as was the outside! Not too sweet, the cake was moist and had a slight almond flavor and fruity between the layers. I highly recommend the Berry Chantilly cake for all of your special occasions or just when you want a delicious cake!

I normally get their sesame crisp because its so good! This time I tried out their hummus and picked a spicy one. Pomegranate walnut hummus has a mild flavor and is made with pomegranate, pepper, walnut and etc. This hummus goes well with sea salt pita chips or any other pita chips. The hummus is very flavorful and each ingredient has it's own role. The pomegranate adds the sweetness and calms the spiciness. The walnuts well they add the nutty flavor but all together it's really good. The owners actually make everything at home and they are all delicious. The sesame crisps looks hard and thick but it's not. It's an airy dessert and the sesame flavor is very vibrant. I bought a small container of hummus for $5 and 5 crisps for $5. They also sell pita chips which was the first thing I bought from this vendor. Their pita chips are excellent and pairs well with the hummus. You can buy hummus and pita chips for $6. They have different types of hummus and I am unaware of when each flavor will last. This time they had three flavors and only one was spicy. I bought mine in the morning and the lady owner gave me a ice pack to keep the hummus chill. Which is something you have to keep in mind.. the hummus has to be chilled or else it will go bad fast. The owners of this bakery are very nice! She remembers me and asks about my friends who came with me the last time I saw her. Unlike another vendor who seemed fake and rude!! Don't have cash? No worries, they take cards because they have square. The owners are at the Richardson location. Their stand is at the Fairview location too but their employee is running that location. I almost forget to mention that they sell BAKLAVA! I am not a big baklava fan but they sure looked yummy! My trip to the market is for two reasons.. Chelles Macarons and Bliss Street Bakery!

My parents lived in Garland so I'd visited the Walnut Hill & 75 location over the years and liked it, other than the fact that they're not allowed to sell hard liquor which is a BIG BUMMER but not the store's fault. I went to this location around 2pm on a weekday and it was BUSTLING! The selection was pretty good and just about everything on my list was in stock. The store is super clean and well stocked by happy, helpful and smiling employees as always. There were even plenty of shopping carts and baskets available which is never the case in downtown San Francisco. The lines were very manageable even though the store was packed with shoppers. My cashier informed me that this is the busiest location in the DFW area, but I'd argue that the Walnut Hill location is just as busy. I was thrilled that the lines don't snake around halfway down the aisles like those for a theme park roller coaster as they do in SF.

I only gave it three stars because the only two customer service people I came in contact with were not friendly at all. For example, when I checked out, the cashier handed me the receipt, made no eye contact, did not acknowledge me in any way. Major pet peeve of mine. Having said that, the ketchup flavored potato chips are amazing!
