The BEST natural, organic, food and vitamin store in north Texas. Tell your friends. No, I have no relation to the owner. Very reasonable prices, friendly staff, and eco-friendly (bring your bags or use their recyling cardboard boxes). It's nice to see corporate responsibility. They make up for the limited selections, with great quality products, including pre-packaged bulk items (love their dried fruit), frozen foods and nutritional products that sometimes can't be found except on the internet. Natural Grocers is hands down the best store in North Dallas. They have all the best products and are truly a natural store unlike others (Central Market, etc). They have an awesome bulk section with amazing prices on whole grain flours, nuts. etc. All the produce is completely organic and everything that is in season is typically on sale. The staff is so nice and knowledgeable. Especially in the vitamin department, they know which supplements are best and will spend as much time as needed explaining the benefits. Also, their prices on vitamins are less than anywhere. All around, Natural Grocers is a fantastic store and I highly recommend you check it out. The store is clean & they have very fresh organic produce. 10 years ago, this alone would earn them 4 or 5 stars, but this isn't true anymore because people are a lot more health conscious nowadays so even discount chains like Aldi's now carry organic produce, often at much lower prices. The only way that a high priced chain like this could survive is to give superior customer service like they do at Whole Foods or Central Market. However, these jokers have zero customer service and possibly false advertising. I came in to buy some pastured eggs because of an ad flyer they mailed to my home. However, when I got there, they were sold out. So, I asked for a rain check. The manager told me that they don't do rain checks. O.k. So, I asked if they'll offer to sell me another brand of eggs for the same price. He refused. I then asked if he would sell me eggs for the sale price at the other location down the street. He said, "yes", with a smirk. I drove down the street to find that the larger location down the street has closed. They've moved to a new location less than half the size. Classy. Gee, with customer disservice like this, I wonder why their store has shrunk to less than half its former size? read more

OK my NEW favorite place (NFP). The closest to Trader Joe's or a west coast market so far. The organic produce is ACTUALLY fresh! There are none of the quasi-natural products included on shelves at other so called natural stores around town. This is the REAL deal Baby! They have a few products I haven't seen since leaving the west. The manager is way nice and I love the tats galore, reminds me of home, ahhhh. This place is a dream, worth the drive for me! I LOOOOOOOOOVE this store! It's smaller which equates to less overwhelming for me. They have the best prices. Skincare/beauty items include many testers. They have a great return policy too. I have been shopping here for over a year now and still see the same friendly faces. I shop here weekly to get things I can't find at other stores (and it is cheaper than Whole Foods or Central Market). I like that they screen all the products they sell (no artificial/unhealthy ingredients) so I don't have to check the labels to see what I will and won't buy. The staff is always friendly and helpful. They also have actual sales on certain items - where it's worth buying in bulk because it is so cheap. The only downside is that I cannot get all of my groceries there. read more

This place is going down. I used them since the opening few years ago - first Natural Grocers store in Dallas and they used to be great. Not anymore, a lot of items are out of stock, sales are disappearing, item selection doesn't get better, and prices go up. They have still few original employees working there but quite a bit of turnover too. Not that the store is outright bad yet, but the trend is very clear now... I hope their management reads this reviews, because if they don't then they are doomed for sure. read more

I have to start off saying that Natural Grocers is hands down much better than Whole Foods when it comes to the standards of products they sell in their stores. They stopped selling a specific yogurt brand because the cows were not free range and they only sell organic produce! It's great that they keep on top of that and the consumers get to benefit from it. I love the staff, all great and very helpful, particularly nice when my little two year old is acting like a crazy psycho ! I love their body & bath department as well as their book selection. We love this place! My husband and I shop here each week and love it! The staff is always helpful in finding just what you need. The selection is really nice and you can't beat their prices on natrual & organic products - believe me, I've looked! Like: 1. Only organic produce. 2. Prices cheaper than Whole Foods. I've seen prices more than 10% lower in some cases for the same exact product. 3. Smaller and less chaotic than Whole Foods or Central Market. Dislike: 1. They close at 8pm. Not a big deal, but sometimes it's hard to get there in time after dinner or after working late. 2. This place is a great addition to our suburban neighborhood! Huge selection of unique natural/organic packaged foods and tons of vitamins. The people actually know their products and are very helpful. I attended a seminar last night on nutrition in the store and was extremely impressed. I think this is a great place to supplement your grocery shopping. Their selection isn't fantastic, but they also keep more organic products on their shelves than Whole Foods or Sprouts. All of their fruits and veggies are organic in fact. I find that they usually have some great sale items too. I haven't ventured into their vitamin section yet but maybe one day. There were 2 customers in front of me at Coit/Campell, Dallas, TX on 12-2-16, all 3 of us had the same problem; we had all loaded the $5 N power coupon onto our cell phones; we had all followed all the ridiculous restrictions of spending over $61 between the specified dates in December, in order to redeem our $5 off on ONLY 12-2-16!! (WHAT A STUPID PROMOTION; TO LIMIT SAVINGS TO 1 DAY ONLY!) NONE OF OUR $5 OFF PURCHASES WORKED ON 12-2-16!! Frank, the manager, was very helpful; he said that only 1 person runs the N power promotion, and the only way to contact that person was via email, with a 3 day minimum response time! Frank emailed that person while we were waiting, Frank gave each 1 of us $2 off our bill that day. This is a DTPA VIOLATION; FEDERAL DECEPTIVE TRADE PRACTICE ACT VIOLATION WHICH WILL BE REPORTED TO THE PROPER FEDERAL AUTHORITIES! It does not take us 3 days to report on the internet that Natural Grocers does not honor its promotions! Unfortunate, as Natural Grocers is a good local source for organic food products. read more
