First time trying this Lebanese food chain and it exceeds my expectations! Location: It is located along Madison Avenue behind St. Patricks cathedral. There are few seatings inside. Service: it is a step by step process. Not that much interaction cause you just have to tell them which choices you want. Food: I got the Naya Bowl. And it was the best. It is a step by step process so here is what I got. STEP 1: you can choose naya roll, naya bowl or naya salad. I chose the bowl cause it has rice with vermicelli. STEP 2: choose 2 meats. I chose beef shawarma which is super tender and flavorful. The second meat was kafta lamb kebab, it was 2 pieces but it was delicious, very moist inside its like a small patty burger. STEP 3: choose toppings. I chose hummus, tahini, cabbage, tomatoes, onions, cucumber, feta cheese, chopped romaine. I got also pistachio baklava and their warm feta bread on the side. This is a must! Price rating: 7/10 price range. It was not bad, I paid $19 for naya bowl, baklava and bread. I will definitely come back here to try the other choices. read more

Submitted a to-go order and the entire process went smoothly. If you ever go through this process, don't hesitate to register for their rewards program. In my case, and because it was my first online order, my $10.99 salad was $6.00. The interior is clean, has nice decor, and the staff members are quick to serve. I ordered the Falafel Salad and it was VERY GOOD. The tahini sauce covered the entire salad and made the entire meal delicious and enjoyable. Came here with a friend and was surprised at how much I enjoyed it. It's a fast casual location reminiscent of Chipotle. Although I'd say it's better than the latter. I used to be a regular at a place that's very similar to Naya. When I saw the offerings I already had an idea of what I was going to order. I order a half lettuce half rice bowl. With half beef and half chicken. My toppings were extensive. I was actually surprised on what was available and the unlimited selections. What I ended up with was a very fulfilling rice bowl. Aside from that I got two appetizers. Sambousik and rekakat, they were both very good but too similar. Not sure which one I liked better. Rekakat was basically a spring roll filled with gooey cheese and the sambousik was a cheese filled pastry. They were good but I wouldn't order from them again unless they were cheaper. As Naya has grown from a couple of locations into a chain, the quality has dropped. It's sad, maybe inevitable, or maybe the investors behind the expansion cutting costs. The basic stuff is getting worse. The pitas. The hummus. The baba ghannouj. All were glorious just a few months ago, Now the hummus lacks flavor, the consistency of the baba gelatinous, the pitas are sticky and/or with hard spots. Boo! read more

I was looking for someplace to have a late lunch and found Naya, which was a few doors down from my office. The lunch rush was over so there was only one person ahead of me when I walked in. I ordered a bowl with half chicken shish taouk and half falafel over freeka with lettuce, tomato, hummus, baba ghannouj, onions with sumac, cucumbers, pickled turnips and lemon tahini. The portion was pretty substantial and I loved that they had so many options to choose from. The chicken was juicy and tender. The falafel was just a bit dry, but generally okay. The hummus was so creamy! The different textures and flavors made this dish so much more than your standard chicken with rice. The vegetables were so crisp and fresh. I found the space to be clean and the staff to be welcoming and friendly. The lines are usually quite long during prime lunch hours but it's worth it. For around $11 this was a great value. Naya is better than CAVA. I will be back! read more

One of the delivery employees gave me the meal after I scanned the mealpal app. Afterwards, I waited for my friend, who came with me to pick up lunch. Even though there was a long line; the line moved very quickly. There are a few long tables for you to eat there after getting your food. The restaurant is very clean and plenty of space. I wanted to reach out and speak regarding my experience at your NAYA restaurant located in 52nd and Madison. I am visiting my family for the holidays, and on Wednesday, November 27, at 12:48 p.m., my mother and I had such a mind-blowing experience. I asked to speak with a supervisor regarding allergies and gluten-free options, and the young lady in the line did not know about allergies or she did not understand what I was trying to ask. I take this very seriously because my mother, who is 74 years old, could have had an allergic reaction. I once again asked to speak with a supervisor, and when she approached me, she gave me an attitude as if I were bothering her and started speaking Spanish in front of my face, and I can tell that it wasn't nice things the way they were laughing and looking at my mother. The supervisor was a short Spanish young lady with black hair. She was maybe 5 feet maximum. I am never going back to this place after such treatment. People want to eat at places they feel welcome, and this place is not that. read more

So I have found the perfect lunch place while being at work on weekdays. Probably one of the nicest lunch options in the vicinity. Ordered Naya bowl with vermicelli rice and chicken shawarma. I topped it with onion parsley, cucumber pickles, jalapenos, pickled turnip (my absolute favorite) and yogurt cucumber dressing. I have never seen a more gorgeous looking Lebanese bowl and couldn't wait to start digging in. Clearly this is one of the best Lebanese food I have eaten in the city in my 4 years here and I would love to visit this place whenever I get Mediterranean food craving. I'm annoyed with Naya after today's lunch. The last time I went, the meal prep people recklessly threw the hummus, babaganous, and feta into one big, mixed, ugly pile in the middle of my schwarma plate like they simply didn't care. That's not nice and it ruins the meal, and they were busy, so I didn't want to say anything. Today, after a few months off from this place, they did it again, only this time there was no line behind me. Mixing too many dips together is gross. Spread them out perhaps in separate parts of the plate so you don't ruin the meal. The staff doesn't care. You're in a rush to get back to the office, so they know you won't do anything about it and you're not going to cause a scene if you work in the area. I told them and the guy working behind the glass basically laughed at me. Plus there wasn't time to fix it. Not happy. The food is fine quality-wise, but the service sucks. Likely won't be back. Probably the best Meal Pal lunch I've had to date. There's a reason NAYA always has a line out the door when the lunch hour hits. The food is THAT good. Tons of options to choose from to play and make your own lunch. For MP that day they had the falafel bowl with rice, pickled veggies, hummus, pita, and two types of sauce. It was a lot of food but filling in a good way, not the wow I feel sick way. You can tell they run a tight ship since even though it's a long time it moves very quick.
