All meals are prepped from fresh ingredients, made upon ordering and can be specialized to your liking or your dietary needs. This is a locally owned business providing a nice, quiet, welcoming space with good food and friendly service for a very reasonable price. Tonight we had their two specials of pork chops with mashed potatoes, gravy and veggies, and chicken breast with shrimp scampi, both were simple, healthy and mouth watering DELICIOUS!! Plus, when you order coffee, they leave a whole carafe! When we got there at first we were a little unsure if the reviews were accurate. Small, simple, super quiet, but very clean. The food was amazing and fresh! Simple menu but really good food. I had a very complicated order and they got it right and even offered to add more of the foods I could have. They checked on us several times to offer refills and ask if we needed anything. I don't understand the plethora of 5-star reviews for this place. There was nothing here to warrant it. Everything tasted like it came from a box, bag, or freezer... The hollandaise had a powdery taste (from a packet?). The English muffin was chewy as though it had been microwaved after having been toasted. The Canadian bacon was of poor quality as it had no flavor. The hash browns glistened with artificially-flavored griddle oil (dreadful) and were cardboard like. My husband's meal was equally disappointing. Over-salted ham steak. Tough and greasy hash browns. The patronage seems to be the over 65 crowd who are on the obese side (no kidding), preferring the large portions and low prices to quality cooking. Today we Finally tried Nayhely's because it always comes up in my Yelp search's. Clean, bright with big windows (onto the parking lot, but it is natural light!), with prompt and friendly service. In good diner tradition, it's no frills, but a very satisfying breakfast at good value. With coffee at my table -- perfect for breakfast. Lunch and dinner appears to be equally "spot-on diner fare". I'm a little conflicted with leaving a good rating. Ideally we'd like to keep this place all to ourselves, but we certainly don't want them to go out of business and DO want this little gem to flourish. We have never had a bad meal there, love the carafe of coffee left at the table for breakfast and we love the friendly staff. We always try to find little "holes in the wall", but too often we find the wall should be sealed up on the place. This little restaurant is different. The decor isn't up to par, but who cares if you're in conversation and enjoying your food. Obviously if they charged more, like most other places around here, then they could spend those profits on the decor, but if there were long lines-we probably wouldn't go there. So, although we'd love for this to be our private hang-out, it is kinda hidden unless you know it's there, I think they could use the business. Give them a try. Might not seem like much, but very satisfied with customer service. We stopped for a rest on our drive from Fed Way to Hillsboro. Wasn't real hungry so we shared 2 meals for the 4 of us. They served the meals as 4 plates ! Which was very thoughtful, never had a restaurant serve it that way. I would give it 5 stars but I feel like 5 stars is for the extraordinary. This place is tucked away off of Hwy99 not far from the movie theater so it's a great place pre-show snack. The most notable thing about this place is the ambiance of a neighborhood cafe.
