I came to this place for the first time about a month ago. I got a veggie omelet with hash browns and it was delicious. The eggs were a little firm for my liking but other than that the food was great. I came back for a second time earlier today, and got the Spanish omelet with house potatoes and I was disappointed. Excellent food and service the first two times we visited this out-of-the-way location, once for breakfast and the other for lunch. Based on those two good experiences, and because we'd seen "low traffic" both times, we figured it would be a good place to go for lunch on Mother's Day. We noted a few cars outside and could see that less than half the tables & booths were occupied. That had us feeling pretty smug about our choice, and we anticipated a good, quiet meal. We held that pleasant thought, but not for long. We entered and stood for a full minute before anyone even bothered to acknowledge that we were there, and that was just a curt "sit anywhere you want" from a young lady about 14 years of age (not one of the employees behind the counter). So we chose a place and seated ourselves. The table was bare, so we figured someone would be by soon with setups and to see if we'd like water or some other beverage. No one - repeat NO ONE - paid any attention to us whatsoever. Not even a glance. No menus. No offer of beverages. No setups. NO ANYTHING. We sat there in growing disbelief as the minutes ticked by. Employees twice walked through the room without even giving us a glance. After sitting there and staring at the walls from 2:10pm until 2:18pm, we got up from the table, put on our jackets, and walked out the door. Even our departure was apparently invisible to the employees BSing behind the counter. Last time for us at this place. Maybe somebody will open a real, honest to gosh restaurant at that location someday; Nayhely's doesn't seem to be giving it much of a try. read more

I would say this is a three star restaurant. We decided to try it because it's near our house and had great yelp reviews. The staff is great. They are welcoming and friendly. I had bacon and eggs and my husband had Nayhelys combo breakfast. We both had the pancakes instead of toast. We both opted for the home fried style potatoes. I was disappointed that the potatoes were the frozen kind instead of fresh. The pancakes however were very good. They made my breakfast go from average to great. I will definitely go back for the pancakes! They are light and fluffy with a great taste. Overall the food was average. I like supporting family owned businesses and I will try this place again. The wife and I came into nayhelys place today for lunch and was definitely happy with our waitress.. She greeted us promptly and brought us our menus.. She was very informative and suggested we try their nayhelys club sandwich.. It comes with your choice of fries or soup.. My wife got the soup and it was a great decision.. She got the clam chowder.. And the chef came out from the kitchen and explained to us that he makes his soups fresh daily and my wife says its the best clam chowder hands down.. Then the chef brought out a sample of the lentil soup to us as well and omg how delicious and flavorful it was.. The club sandwiches were very delicious and I would recommend this place to everyone who likes fresh great tasting food.. Can't wait to go back and try their breakfast soon.. Yummmmm read more

The "place" has been open 8 months now. The full menu is offered all day, well at least it was when we stopped in for dinner. :D We had the clubhouse sammie that was literally packed with ham and turkey. Literally. The fried chicken salad and mega skillet that came with pancakes. O. M. G. The pancakes! I'm not a big pancake eater, but I helped eat half of it..and the pancakes weren't even mine! Lol!! As full as we were, had to try the fried pie. They have several fruit flavors and we got apple. Fried crust dusted with cinnamon, apple filling topped with whipped cream. Pretty good. I've been here a few times now and this place is pretty OK. It appears to be a family run local restaurant. I always like to support local businesses. I tried the club sandwich with fries. Didn't think it was all that great. Next time I decided on breakfast and got pancakes. These pancakes were obviously homemade and very delicious. Every other time that I've been here, I've had to get those awesome pancakes! These pancakes are money! Straight up gold! Pancakes with a side of bacon! Yum! I've also heard that the owner's mother comes in on the weekends to make homemade tortillas for the weekend taco rush. I will have to try those sometime. Has had prime rib, lamb shanks and other Fri/Sat night meat specials, had the ribeye tonight, the BEST. Call ahead for the specials. Meat is fat trimmed perfectly, no greasy flavor. Average breakfast and a bit pricey. There was nothing extremely fancy about this place. The price was a little bit expensive for what we got. One of us had bacon and eggs and I had the hash browns and eggs and with coffee it came to about $27 dollars. The toast was from the local grocery store and the quality of breakfast was something you can make at your house. They did give an ample amount of bacon on my friend's breakfast and it looked like good quality bacon. Our waters were never re-filled and as nominal as that sounds, its a good measuring point to see how tentative servers are with their customers. Since we didn't get any of the fancier sounding dishes I don't want to completely dismiss this place and for that reason I would semi-recommend this place for breakfast. read more

In my years of using yelp, you guys have never let me down. Til now. This place had 4 stars so I was expecting a bustling hidden gem. I should have read the reviews first but we were in a rush and I just went based on the stars. It sounds like they may have met the mark 2+ years ago, but now it definitely could use some help. Awkward and quiet atmosphere, no music, no delicious food smells when you walk in even though it is a tiny place. We could hear a guy crunching his bacon 2 booths away. Coffee was worse than what you'd get at a gas station, very watery and bad flavor. My husband got steak and eggs and said sharis steak was better and to date, we always rated their steak the lowest. Looks like sharis steak moved up a notch . The eggs were watery and bland and honestly didn't even taste like eggs, I couldn't finish them. The hashbrowns tasted old and home fries super dried out. The one star is for the service, it was okay. From what I understand it is a family run restaurant, so I wish I had nicer things to say... but I wouldn't want anyone else to be disappointed as much as we were, especially for the prices. $16.95 for the steak breakfast and it was a small piece of nearly inedible meat.
