At this point I had my gate unlocked and garage door open still for access to the attic. If I hadn't noticed that he had left, anyone could have walked in and stolen tools that I keep in the garage. I reached out to the office and the feel I got for them was that they didn't care at all. I got an "I'm sorry this was your experience" from a manager after chasing them down with emails and phone calls. At 10:15am, they call to let us know that they are not going to come and we can reschedule out another week or so. If you knew that you could not make it, call the day before so we are not wasting our time and vacation hours from work. I had recommended them to a friend recently and heard the same complaint that they went elsewhere due to the run-around. Its sad since they did have good service at one time -- but would no longer recommend unless you want your appliances down for an unreasonably long period of time and your time wasted.

KSR contacted me the next day and they showed up they day after that. They found out it was low freon (as we figured). This isn't our first rodeo with low freon. Most HVAC companies put in freon to spec, check that we are getting cold air and call it good. KSR went into our attic to check air temp in the duct and found that the company that installed the unit had put the temperature sensor in the wrong place on the unit. They corrected that (took about a minute) and said it would keep the unit from kicking off early. We are very happy.
