    We spoke with their answering service on Monday about 10:30 am and they told use they could…read moreschedule us for Tuesday morning between 8am and 10am. I called them at 9:45am on Tuesday morning to verify they were coming. The office lady told me they don't service our area after the answering service had scheduled us. They didn't bother to call me and tell me they didn't service our area, they just didn't show up. Our AC wasn't cooling and we had assumed in good faith that the answering service had scheduled us. Not blaming the answering service but I do blame the office lady for not bothering to call us. Horrible customer service!

    In May 2025 I called this company because my A/C went out. The next day the technician…read morearrived(Kevin). He diagnosed some issues and had to return a few days later with parts. He replaced parts, fixed a couple of issues and recharged the system, Sold me on a couple of upgrades which he installed. After 12 days I returned from a hospital stay and that evening the A/C went out again. I called and the same technician came out again. He informed me that he hadn't accounted for the fact that it was a 3 zone system and forgot to do something. So once again we had A/C. Then a few weeks later no A/C so I called again. The same technician came out again and found another defective part he said he didn't know about. He replaced it and A/C was working again. Now a few weeks later the same problem as the other 3 times. So I called to get a technician out and asked for a manager to call me. Which he did the next morning. He left a message about a Damper that needed replacing and if I would like to have it done. I never discussed with the technician about replacing it only that the zone wasn't working and he pointed out that the Damper hadn't opened for flow. I told him it had been opening each time he came out before. So if that was the issue causing the A/C To freeze each time how come he came up with other reasons. Really simple its called profit for the company. Finding other items that may go bad and replacing them and selling customers on upgrades. Do not trust this company to do right by you. They will sell you replacing things that may not be bad and upgrades. And baffle you with BS. So today i had another company come out after numerous text messages with Kevin and do a diagnostic on the system and low and behold the damper is working fine. Its an issue with the way the return cold air hits the coil causing the freezing instead of dumping into another area. Poor design flaw not the damper. Thank you to Daniel from the Coolist Air for knowing what's going on with the system. Worth paying the diagnostic fee and avoiding a company that sucks money for poor service.

What…read morefollowed was a frustrating experience with multiple companies--our regular provider misdiagnosed the issue, and an AHS-dispatched technician couldn't locate the problem. A third company guessed it was the coil, and AHS ultimately denied the claim as "undetermined." After escalating with AHS, they sent Lee from KSR Air--and that's when everything changed. From the moment he arrived, Lee was professional, thorough, and clearly experienced. Within an hour, he accurately diagnosed multiple issues: a leak behind the wall caused by a nail and a bad compressor. (And for the record, the coil was perfectly fine--contrary to what the previous three companies said.) Kyle from KSR Air went above and beyond, working directly with Carrier and AHS to navigate warranty and insurance challenges. We even learned that in Texas, since 2021, manufacturers must honor warranties for subsequent homeowners--something no one else mentioned. They drove over an hour each way without complaint, replaced the compressor, fixed the leak, and handled two claims--all within 3 days, during peak A/C season. It's easy to blame service companies when dealing with home warranty frustrations, but KSR Air proved that expertise and integrity still matter. Our AC wasn't cooling so we filed for service…read more Living out in the country you never know who AHS will send or how long it will take for them to get to us. AHS selected KSR. KSR contacted me the next day and they showed up they day after that. They found out it was low freon (as we figured). This isn't our first rodeo with low freon. Most HVAC companies put in freon to spec, check that we are getting cold air and call it good. KSR went into our attic to check air temp in the duct and found that the company that installed the unit had put the temperature sensor in the wrong place on the unit. They corrected that (took about a minute) and said it would keep the unit from kicking off early. We are very happy.
