Grand Opening celebration for NCM Cafe. Modern, elegant decor. Coffee, Match, Tea Drinks made by a robotics barista. They offered a simple menu with a several drinks - a decent amount. The one drink that caught my eye which was their innovative concoction of "Fish Sauce Coffee". So tempted to get it, I decided on the safer choice for my wife, so I got the "Closing Deal" which is Lychee Tea. One kiosk to order from but seemed like the robot could not keep up with the orderd even though, they said it takes 1-2 minutes to make. TBH, I think our drink was mistakeningly taken by somebody else. ~60 mins and still no drink. Definitely, a no toppings drink place ~$7/drink. Neat concept, but if you don't pickup your drink, it will "clog up" the robot as there is only one spot to put the drink. Thank you for your Grand Opening! They did offer a free plate and Agua Fresca with a ticket after buying a drink.

Visited for the first time with my parents, and we loved it! The robot making our drinks was such a cool touch, and the coffee was excellent.

70$ for 5 taco plates for the hair salon. 2 small tacos + 1/4 cup beans and 1/4 cup rice. No drink

Grand opening. They have a real estate business where you can buy a fully furnished house built with custom furniture where the furniture is made in vietnam. Robot coffee cafe. The robot dances. Ask them for a demo. Bought 5 plates from the taco truck to give to the hair cutting place down the street. They could smell the cooking meat from the smoke. 70$ for 5 plates with 2 small tacos, beans, rice. Seems high. The taco truck is the same taco business operating out of the mexican market by eastridge. Definitely not going there after being price gouged. Asked them for a reduced price without drink. Amigo came back with 70$. Same plates they were giving away for visitors with a ticket. 100% sure I was price gouged. Is ok they win that one. Coffee brewed from machine; not as good as the commercial expresso machines with high pressure. water doesn't get hot enough compared to the commercial expresso machines. little crema; tastes watery. The cafe sells coffee and memberships to their coffee shop/co working space. Starts at 200$/month and up to 1500.00/mo 18k/year for the founders circle. Prob a good way to get in as investors into some businesses the owner and his friends invests in. Looks like a test concept location for the robot and future scaling plans.

Interesting concept, this cafe will make you feel like you walk into an office room that has an automatic coffee machine and you pay to drink from it. I came when they newly open and there were barely anyone except two people, who I assumed to be the owners. The ambience was off and not inviting since they're technically a showroom for a furniture store so I wasn't sure if I'm allowed to sit anywhere at all? The employee there was nice and helpful with the process, that's a plus for them. And on to the drink, I tried the fish sauce coffee. I don't know what I expected, but definitely not that. You will smell and taste the fish sauce, even though it wasn't as good as I expected, but it did come across as a fish sauce coffee. But what I didn't like about the drink was the coffee was too sweet and missing the coffee taste. It felt like I was drinking milk with fish sauce. Hope they improve their cafe in the future!

I've been to this cafe many times and absolutely love it. It's a great place to study or get my work done, and every one of the five drinks I've tried has been delicious and well-suited to my taste. The prices are very reasonable, there's plenty of seating, and the staff is always kind and helpful--they even bring your drink to you if it's human-made. I have no complaints and really love the cafe's concept, especially since it's so Silicon-Valley coded. My only small wish is that they hopefully offer regular boba as an add-on in the future, but it's not a huge deal.

Mango Matcha with smiley face :). This was not made by the robot, as politely announced by the robot

I got the Cote mango matcha and my boyfriend got the fish sauce coffee. We enjoyed the matcha and my boyfriend enjoyed his coffee (I didn't not lol). The ambiance is interesting and cool, mix of real estate and startup theme - very silicon valley. The robots also cool but nothing special. It was pretty empty when I was there but if there's a line, I could see it being super busy as the robot was slow. The ambiance is cool, somewhat pretentious. The lady there wasn't that friendly, some furniture there was for decorations and seems like there's members only perks that I wished someone talked to me about instead of just saying "members only" without much follow up.

I really enjoy the jasmine milk tea and Indigo coffee at NCM Cafe. The space is calm and cozy, perfect for relaxing, studying, or getting some work done.

    Fish sauce coffee

Come to this place if you want to have coffee made by a cool looking robot. If youre into trying unique drinks, they have some interesting drink options too such as fish sauce coffee that you wont really find anywhere else. If you are looking for like the best quality coffee youve ever had then yeah this isnt the place for you, its literally a robot making the drinks and i think its silly the other reviews are giving this 1* for the coffee not meeting their exacting standards. For what this place is, its great

Temperatures were just under 90 degrees Fahrenheit outside. The air conditioning was great in here, not freezing cold but cool enough to be comfortable. There were a few other tables of people with their laptops out, and I was excited to see that they have expanded since my last visit and added more seating for customers. The lotus milk tea is still one of my favorites in the whole city. We sat at a table so there was no outlet, but I can't remember if there were outlets along the walls for the booth seating. The WiFi worked well and if there was background music it was not being blasted loudly. I would definitely keep this spot top of mind if I needed a reliable spot to work remote again, especially since there is now more seating than there used to be. While I like the cherry blossom concept behind it, it left me rather disappointed when it came to the service and making of the drinks. While the coffee shop felt spacious and more than enough space to accommodate everybody, it just felt rushed throughout the whole time I was there. Their drinks were another dimension. I got their EGGspresso Hanoi, which surprisingly, was not bad at all. I loved how consistent the egg batter was, and the consistency of the coffee was quite equal. I will be back to try their other drinks, and hoping that their customer service could improve just a little bit more. I know they have the potential, but being more courteous goes a very long way compared to being bland in attitude, obviously.

It is located in the back end of the Japantown strip under an apartment complex (it is easy to miss!) Note: Tono is more of a quick grab and go environment with some seating outside (limited), so not a place to work from home/do school work, but more to get your caffeine fix. There are close by community spaces to sit though! At Tono, they do not really do drinks with frills, but straightforward drips, lattes, and at most chocolate/matcha lattes. That being said, all of the drinks I have gotten so far have been smooth and not bitter at all. I typically do not like plain lattes, but I did order one the other day and it might have been the best I had due to how non-astringent it was. What I truly love about Tono is their pastries.
