Also, because I ran out of half and half, lol. I couldn't decide on whether to get the banana coffee or the banana latte. So I got both. The banana coffee for myself. Came here for their tiramisu cream coffee, I ordered through Grub Hub so I didn't need to wait long for the order. The owner was really nice and welcoming. My first sip into the coffee was not too impressive, there was an odd sour after taste from the coffee. But after thoroughly mixing the tiramisu cream in, it tasted more balancing out, not too sweet, and still had the bitterness of coffee. I got 25% sweetness which was perfect. Seemed understaffed as there was only one person as the cashier and making the drinks but there is a kiosk to order from too. It honestly seems like the lottery ticket machine was the only thing keeping this place alive as it attracted some customers. My sister got the banana matcha and I got the oreo cheese matcha half sweet. Matcha flavor in both the banana matcha and the oreo cheese matcha were lacking. The banana foam tasted artificial, similar to the laffy taffy banana flavor. My sister isn't a big fan of strong matcha and she found this drink enjoyable. The oreo cheese matcha wasn't very salty like I was expecting in a cheese foam. However, this drink comes with a whole oreo cookie on the foam and mashed bits of oreo at the bottom of the cup which added fun texture. At half sweetness, I found the drink still very sweet so I would recommend getting less than half for sugar level. For an oreo drink, it's pretty good, just missing the matcha profile. Both drinks were just decent but the wait took quite some time since there is only one person taking orders and making the drinks. I noticed a lack of music playing in the background and that gave the cafe an awkward atmosphere besides the TV playing. This cafe seems more like a place to grab a drink and go rather than stay to hang out. I really wanted to like this place because of all the great reviews, but both experiences were disappointing. A few months ago, I tried their banana coffee and couldn't even finish it. The flavor combination tasted off and way too strong in an unpleasant way. My coworker and I recently decided to give them another shot after seeing a DoorDash deal. We ordered matcha drinks since they advertise ceremonial-grade, cold-whisked matcha. I got the banana matcha while my coworker got the regular matcha latte. As soon as we saw the drinks, we knew something was off. The matcha was a very light green color and tasted extremely watered down. It honestly tasted more like jasmine tea than matcha. We ended up throwing both drinks away because we couldn't finish them. Unfortunately, we won't be giving this place another try. read more

TY Coffee is one of the newest businesses to enter into the ever-popular Coffee/Milktea shops. This family owned shop is located in the Lion Alvin strip mall. The parking is ok here. The shop is relaxing with house music and tables/chairs to lounge around in. One unisex restroom only. The decor is nice and the service is super friendly, thoughtful, and hospitable. I ordered the House Blend Expresso. It was strong and bold with a creamy sweetness. A caffeine boost for a quick pick-me-up. They do have some other snacks and one kind of banh mi. I came here after eating at Nam Vang since my sister saw that the old coffee place was replaced by a new coffee, matcha and boba shop. There wasn't really anyone inside since we came on a weekday assuming everyone is at work or school. We both decided to get the matcha Jasmine cloud. I usually get the banana matcha everywhere I go, but opted for something sweeter today. The drinks took a bit to make, but it's okay because they actually hand whisk the matcha. The ladies were so nice and even asked my sister to try her drink first to see if she liked the sweetness since she got less sweet in hers. The matcha Jasmine cloud was sweet for me at first until the ice melted and balanced out the taste. You can definitely taste more of the Jasmine compared to the matcha in this drink. Overall, the drink wasn't bad because I finished mines. The honey boba was also soft and enjoyable to eat as I never really get honey boba in my drinks. Cool spot to hangout and relax after eating at restaurants in the plaza. They have a claw machine with cute plushies inside to play. I would come back to try the banana matcha next time. read more

this place just opened not too long ago and I was really craving a blended coconut coffee, so we decided to check it out. they seemed to really attract the vietnamese uncles with each table having a stack of lotto tickets to play. they offer a decent selection of coffees with some matcha and fruit teas as well. they were even running a promotion for $4/drink so it was a great deal! the coffee was good, very strong and sweet, and the matcha was okay. decent matcha flavor but maybe soursop and matcha don't mix for me. really excited to come back and try their other drinks! read more

OMG. This is review is for the soft opening. We came here at 1245 in the afternoon. We ordered 2 drinks. There was one customer in front of us. By the time we got both of our drinks, it was 115. My nail lady, Nataly, suggested this place and I'm not a big coffee drinker, but after tasting the salted cream coffee, I had to stop by and grab another. Wait time was very short and the staff were very friendly. I got 2 of the salted cream coffees for my mom and landlord and they loved it. 100% percent recommend. The pricing is also very decent.
