Came to this spot with the intention of finding a new place to work remotely. Air conditioning was not so good, temperatures were just under 90 degrees Fahrenheit outside and it was far too stuffy to work comfortably in here. It was a Wednesday and Devin and I were looking to make it a productive work day. Business was slow even throughout peak lunch hours so the environment was fairly quiet. Seating is around the corner from the ordering area so there's a good amount of privacy if you prefer to be left alone. Vietnamese music was playing in the background. The PL milk tea had good, unique flavor. In an attempt to cut down on calories consumed I've began getting milk teas without toppings, so I'm happy to report that I could appreciate this milk tea without the boba balls. There was ample seating given the amount of foot traffic and multiple visible outlets. The WiFi was also strong. They are running a buy two get one free happy hour promo for the month, so if you're looking to work for an hour or two in the afternoon with a friend or two it would be worth it to stop by. But if you get sweaty easily, definitely beware that the AC is not being blasted here. read more

Phuc Long Milk Tea extra sweet and no ice is my go-to drink here. The only drawback with no ice is they do not fill the drink to the very top. I usually will ask for a cup of ice on the side so I can control how much it dilutes my drink. They're pretty quick with fulfilling orders. The one thing I'm most curious about is how their banh mi sandwiches are since I haven't had them yet. Ordered a large and basically got a regular because the drinks were 75% filled and majority of the cup is ice. They are not busy at all and we had to wait to have someone help with handing the online order out. Finally made my way to Phuc Long Coffee & Tea! There are so many drink spots in San Jose, but this one was a must-try for me. Parking was decent, my husband and I tried to find something closer to the café but ended up parking near Grand Century Mall and walking over, which honestly wasn't too bad. The ambiance here is so nice. The decor is clean and aesthetic, and even though it looks a bit small from the outside, it's actually a pretty decent size inside. I also loved the little tables and chairs outside, it's such a cute spot to just sit and enjoy your drink. We ordered the lychee jasmine/lotus tea, the blended matcha, banh trang tron, and the banh mi que. The lychee jasmine tea was SO good and refreshing, not overly sweet and you can really taste the jasmine tea which I loved. I would definitely come back just for this drink alone. The blended matcha wasn't my favorite since it leaned more on the sweeter side and didn't have a strong matcha flavor. On the food side, the banh trang tron and banh mi que were both so good. The banh trang really hit the spot and the banh mi was super crunchy and flavorful, just simple classics done right. One thing I will say is that even though it wasn't very busy when we went, the wait ended up being longer than expected. It might have been because of the food items rather than the drinks, but since we didn't order too much, it did feel like a bit of an unusual wait time as it wasn't busy. Came here on 09/12/25 for their BOGO Cheezy Coco Matcha promo. I was very impressed and surprised by the flavor of the drink. It is coconut water and matcha, topped with a creamy cheese foam. It was sooo delicious, the flavor was creamy, milky, and refreshing. I would usually go for matcha milk tea if i want that flavor, but this checks all the box for me without it being full dairy from top to bottom. The service was great, the employee me greet me immediately upon entering. The ambiance was friendly, lots of people were sitting inside, hanging with friends or just chill by themselves. I recommend this location. I do want to add, they have a metal bench to wait for your order at the front. It was very creaky and doesn't seem like it can hold a lot of weight. I would advise Phuc Long to take a look at alternatives options for waiting sofa as that can cause serious injuries. Otherwise, great spot! read more

I love how there are so many drink options at Vietnam Town. Phuc Long is one of my faves. I have tried the locations in Vietnam and the one in Garden Grove so I was excited that San Jose now has one. I have visited a few times now and my 2 favorite drinks are the strawberry freeze which comes with yogurt and the matcha smoothie. Both are really good, creamy and refreshing. I also like the spiced peanuts whenever they have them and also the yogurt. Their yogurt is so good and it's perfectly creamy, sweet and tart. The store is very well decorated and there's lots of seating inside and also outside with the little small tables and chairs, giving you that Vietnam vibe. This one reminds me and probably most everyone of a certain mega franchise based out of Seattle. I'm sure it's just coincidental. As for the interior, I actually quite like it as there is green foliage and more green throughout their layout. For seating options, there is a variety of options and also a good amount of seating that's been made available to their patrons. First off, this is not that coffee chain from the Pacific Northwest as you may do a double take as you walk through the doors. There is a lot of the color Green, which may make you think so. I will say there is a lot of plants so that should be your second clue that it is not that large coffee chain your brain may trick you into believing. The cashier is at the back of the shop and there is a good amount of seating available, although it may hard to find a seat during their peak times on the weekends. They specialize in Vietnamese coffee but I rarely order this drink as it is strong and bitter as you would expect. I almost always order their Lychee Jasmine Tea which is still plenty strong for me but it is sweeter and easier to drink, at least for me. The cashiers have been pleasant and my the wait times have not been too bad, again depending on when you stop by here. I had a very disappointing experience with the service at your store today at around 2:00 PM (Father's Day). The female staff member wearing glasses who was working at the cashier had an unfriendly attitude when speaking with customers. I am a loyal customer who has supported the store since the very first day it opened. I usually come here two to three times a week. I always order my drink with extra 2 order boba on the side, and it has never been an issue--until today. This time, she refused my request and did so with a visibly unpleasant attitude, which left me extremely disappointed.
