From start to finish, the experience was seamless. They did not require an appointment, were incredibly friendly over the phone, and maintained that same warm professionalism in person. The suits were ready on time and the quality of the work was outstanding--each adjustment was executed perfectly. Pricing was clearly communicated upfront, with no surprises. At pick-up, one suit required a minor adjustment. I mentioned I had a business trip the next day, and without hesitation, they made the alteration on the spot. That kind of responsiveness and customer care is rare and deeply appreciated. Above all, I can't stress enough how genuinely kind and helpful everyone at Pearl's was throughout the entire process. The staff was very friendly and explained everything extremely well. They definitely "managed expectations" as we often quote in the AF and informed me how long the zipper repair would be; there is typically a 1 week wait-time because they're quite busy with all the work requests that they but since I was not in a hurry and have a spare to wear so I did not mind. After picking up my pants the following week, I have discovered that the wait was worth it. They repaired one of my favorite scrub pant's zippers seamlessly. The price they charge for services are extremely fair and reasonable. Though they weren't able to tailor the size of my winter jackets because the pockets were too close to the seam-line, they offered a DIY solution for free. What more can you ask for? She did not have the alterations done by the pick up date and kept giving me the runaround about picking up my suit. She's no longer returning phone calls about it. Not sure if I'll ever get my suit back. Wish I wouldn't have prepaid for the alteration. For anyone interested, here's what happened: I went to Sabrina's shop on September 4, 2021. I needed to get my suit altered for attending a wedding. I let her know the date of the event and she gave me an estimated pick up date that was a couple of days before the wedding. Unfortunately, I ended up getting Covid right before the wedding and could not attend. I called Sabrina a couple of weeks after my pick up date when I had fully recovered and explain the situation. She informed me that it was a good thing that I couldn't go to the wedding because she actually was not able to do the alteration at all. So if I had been able to go to the wedding, I would not had had a suit to wear. She let me know that she would have the alteration done by Friday of that week. She also informed me that she had to move the location of her business and would let me know when and where to pick up the suit when she called me to confirm it was ready. I received no call to pick up my suit. I gave it another couple of weeks and called her again and the same events repeated. She told me she'd finish by Friday and call me to confirm and then never called me. After the second time that happened, I left her a voicemail telling her not to even worry about doing the alteration and I just wanted my suit back. Ever since that point, she has not returned any of my phone calls. I've called her multiple times and left multiple voicemails simply requesting that I get my suit back. She has not responded to any attempts to reach her. Because she changed the location of her business, I have no idea where to go to request my suit back in person. I'm not sure if she lost or damaged the suit or something more nefarious has happened but regardless, I am here several months later, in a different calendar year, with no suit. I wish I had looked at more of her reviews before I went because it seems like this is not the first time she's done something like this.

When she tried to get a little more info on cost, she was turned away. It's quite pathetic how many businesses in Wimberley just assume you're trash if you don't have a copious amount of disposable income at any given time.
