We had Haven Pool and Spa replace the liner on our above ground pool. We bought the pool during the…read morepandemic and the company insisted we would easily be able to install the liner ourselves. This was not true and although we were able to install it ourselves it was not perfect and we had to replace the liner within a one year. We installed it ourselves again and it leaked around the skimmer until the end of last summer when thoughts of just taking the pool down (due having to refill the pool daily) entered our minds. Our skills were obviously not up to par in pool liner installation so in March of this year we decided to inquire about getting some help from Haven Pool and Spa. We are so pleased this is what we did. Admittedly, we were taken aback at the price of buying a liner and getting it installed as it was as much as we paid for the pool. However, knowing that it took us days to do it ourselves (and it was not done correctly in the end), forced us to make the decision to have the professionals do it for us. Boy, did it make a difference and we truly wish this is the way we would have done it in 2020. I can tell our pool will last many years now and we will not have to continually worry about leaking and other issues. Use the professionals at Haven Pool and Spa! The pool accommodates 6 swimmers and I have never had to wait for a lane. One end of the pool is super shallow, like maybe 3 feet, and it feels a bit strange to swim when your fingers almost touch the bottom but it's a pool, and I need my work out! The water is a moderate temp, around 80 degrees which dpfeels cold when you enter but after two laps, it's perfect. The locker and shower room is clean, which You can't always say about recreational facilities. They allow travelers to use just the showers for $2 and they limit it to a very specific timeframe. If you pay $9 for the day pass, a shower is included. For residents who pay taxes to Seaside, the day rate is $6. Don't worry if you forget your towel, for another $1 they will provide. In addition to the main pool, there is a smaller baby pool and a jacuzzi. I pass on those, not just here, but anywhere. Since I visit Cannon Beach a few times a year, I'm thrilled this facility exists. Right after my morning coffee I take the 20 minute drive to Seaside, get in my swim, shower, dress, and meet back up with my friends to enjoy the afternoon and evening.

Stopped by the Pool & Spa House to see how bad the damage could be and what I would need to do to fix it. Can I just say that Don was the greatest. He totally eased my fears and told me that hot tubs frequently get pin hole leaks in some of the joints and fittings. He even took me over to some of their systems on display to demonstrate where and what to look for in determining the type of leak. The best part was his recommendation of a product called "Fix a Leak" and how to apply it to my system. With one bottle and little expert instruction from Don, I fixed my hot tub in no time and it barely cost me any blood, sweat and tears as I had feared it might. Thanks Don!
