Waltham 10 mins away is LOADED with barber shops that give incredible fades, trim your eyebrows, ears hair, nose hair, and shave your neck for $20-$30. The last time we were in the wife was giving a man a manicure. I have never seen a woman getting services here - I think they market themselves as an old-fashioned men's barber shop. (A listing on the Newton Patch says they do color also, but I have only seen other customers getting cuts.) Since my son's hair is so thick, we are happy to have found someone who does a good job with it.
