I went in today at around 10am and there were 2 guys working one of them looked super young and an older one that looked like he was the manager. I ordered a pumpkin pie spice smoothie and It was the worst smoothie I've ever had, it literally tasted like they took raw pumpkin and blended it with water. I'm not the type to ever complain about food but this time I had such bad after taste. This smoothie wasn't drinkable and for $10 bucks!!!!!! I went back in and I asked if I could get another type of smoothie, the older guy working said they don't do refunds or swaps and I explained how the smoothie wasn't drinkable to what he said "I know, I personally don't like this smoothie" he also said he didn't like it and implied that he doesn't know why people order it. Needed a cleansing juice after a quick run and opted for nectar. Unfortunately, the one near me closed at 6 and so I went to this one which conveniently closes at 8p. I went in and was the only one in the place. The lady working didn't even look at me or greet me but just kept working behind the counter. A few minutes later, yes, I'm still being ignored and not even a gesture that help would be in the way. A couple more minutes later a second worker comes out. Again doesn't even glance at me but goes to the cash register looks confused, walks around and then back to the cash register and finally takes my order. At least my usual Toxin Flush was made well or this would have been my last trip here :/ read more

Sadly, this location is going down. I have worked around the corner from this Nekter for 7 years and was always pleased with the service and the level of urgency of getting drinks made. These days, my drink never ever tastes the same as the time before. Either too much peanut butter, not enough peanut butter, too milky, I pay extra for cacao nibs and don't get them etc. I also like to place my order ahead of time and it takes 45 minutes for it to be ready? Then when I ask the status of my drink, they seem irritated. Just wish this location would be more consistent, with the way they make their drinks and with their level of service. It wasn't bad but it wasn't great. It was straight in the middle. The good was that you can actually taste the fruit so the acai was not so cold that it froze the fruit. It was made when ordered so that was nice. At the same time, nothing special. Will I go there again, yes until I find a better place. read more

My sister and I stopped in here a few days ago because we were craving smoothies! This place just opened in La Habra not too long ago. I ordered the pink flamingo smoothie, and my sister ordered the berry banana burst. There were 2 servers, so we waited less than 15 minutes for our drinks. They were pretty courteous and prompt with our orders. But then again, we also came in on a Monday morning when there weren't as many people there, compared to the weekend. We didn't try any of the food items, like the acai bowls that some people really like. Only because we were planning on having lunch elsewhere for the day. But we would definitely love to come back and try their food, too! Overall, this juice bar is a lot like many juice bars out there. The girls here are SO rude. No greeting or friendliness, and then they get offended when you don't tip...they left my açaí bowl to melt and never called my name, and then completely ignored me. Came here after positive experiences at other nekter locations because I was craving a pitaya bowl. The person at the register was friendly but that's where the positives stopped. After I ordered and saw how slow the two people on bar were I wished I hadn't ordered and gone somewhere else instead. The person from the register disappeared (maybe she is not required to help the people on bar when there is no line or maybe she was working in the back -- I give her the benefit of the doubt). The one lady on bar kept walking to the back room and not coming back with anything. She seemed confused. Maybe today was her first day? Mystery. The guy on bar seemed confused. Maybe today was his first day? At least he was making drinks. Slowly. The counter was a mess which made me cringe a little. Food prep counters should be kept clean. That's not a personal preference, it's a health code. Was more than a little grossed out that the guy checked the two dirty blenders and removed the lid from one to put on the blender that had the ingredients for my bowl. Maybe since the other two people had disappeared he didn't know what to do since there was nothing clean available? Even when other locations are busy they take the time to wash food prep equipment between orders. I would have normally asked that he use something clean for my order but it was already too late and I didn't want him to have to waste the ingredients he had started so I hoped that the flavor of the previous person's order would not be overpowering in mine. Management needs to retrain and help impart the importance of cleanliness. Not only for sanitation but for people with food allergies. UGH! Just thinking about writing a review for this Nekter makes me angry all over again. I came to Nekter with my BF during mid-morning Saturday. We ordered 2 acai bowls -- there was about 6 people ahead of us waiting for their orders at this point. We ended up waiting almost 40 minutes for both our acai bowls. Are you kidding me... There were two people who came about 15 minutes after and received their orders prior to everyone else before them because they knew one of the girl working that morning. Seriously, we've all been waiting so step aside and wait your turn. On top of that, my acai banana berry bowl was flavorless after that long wait. The bf's pitaya bowl was decent. I would much rather go to Sustain Juicery in Chino Hills! Pretty much the same price but it also tastes better and they give more. read more

I used to go to the one in Long Beach but stopped going there because all the workers seemed grumpy. Not a good thing when you're trying to promote health and vitality through juicing. Workers here seem more friendly. When I was sick few months back and had no appetite, only thing I craved was fresh or cold pressed juices. I actually bought some of the cleanse packs on a regular basis which helped me a bit. I would buy them more frequently if they weren't so expensive. It's actually gone down since this place first opened. It used to be $68 for a one-day cleanse but they dropped it down to $48 during a special promotion and kept it at that price. Both the Classic Cleanse and Advanced Cleanse are $48. There's not a huge difference between the two except one of the drinks is replaced with a beet based juice on the Advanced Cleanse. Not sure if it's still available but I also saw Premium Organic Cleanse at one time for about $68. Most of the drinks on the cleanse pack tasted fine except for one that tasted really grassy and bitter. One thing I noticed is I was able to buy their juices on the go for about $6-$8 per bottle and was able to spend just about $40 for six 16 oz. juices. The ingredients are a bit different but I felt like I got basically the same benefit as the cleanse pack. You just need about three drinks with apples, kale, and some other greens; one with anti-inflammatory ingredients like beet; one with lemon; and one with nuts like almond or cashew to help fill you up before bedtime. Out of all the juices on the go, I liked the raspberry lemonade and strawberry lemonade the best. The strawberry one has some spicy kick with cayenne so it tasted really good. Whether you get the cleanse pack or juices on the go, just check the expiration date. I haven't had any issues but I read one reviewer indicating the date had expired. For fresh pressed juice I only get the toxin flush. It's a good combination of healthy and taste. It's got enough sweetness from apples but also get good cleansing effect from greens like spinach and parsley. It also has some lemon and ginger to give it a refreshing flavor. read more

I've had both the pitaya (dragon fruit) and acai bowls which were impressively large, jampacked with goodies for about $7.00. All drinks are made non-dairy and with all natural fruits. It comes in 4 sizes: kids, 16oz, 24oz, and 32oz. Today, we tried 2 smoothies. The pink flamingo is my new fave smoothie. It has strawberry, pineapple, agave nectar, pitaya, and coconut water. So refreshing and not overly sweet with additives or fruit juices. The orange crush was also good. A nice breakfast option. This smoothie has an orange base, strawberry, and agave nectar. It tastes like an slushy version of orange bang. There are so many healthy options: juices, blended juices, smoothies, acai bowls, and grab and go snacks/drinks. They are right next door to Bruegger's Bagels so grab a drink + bagel and sit outside to enjoy. There are a few tables and bar seating inside. The service was friendly. My husband and I decided to do a 2 day juice cleanse this week and wanted to try Nekter Juice. We usually do a 3 day cleanse and always got it from pressed juicery but noticed by day 3 we are hangry and pressed juicery is in Soouth OC. We tried the advanced juice cleanse and 6 juices come in the cleanse. I am currently on day 2 and it's been great. I would highly recommend Nekter's juice for anyone who wants to try a juice cleanse, but if you're starting out do the classic! I come to this location all the time and the staff is always great. I'm writing this review about my visit today (Tuesday) around 9:30am, in hopes that someone from management will see it and take action. My friend and I came into this location this morning to order two juices. There was one man waiting on his order when we walked up to the register. When the server, Devin, handed him his drink, the man asked him to add a bowl to his order, so he started on that and let us know he'd be just one minute. At that moment, two more people walked in and got in line. I noticed there was a mobile order waiting as well. The man waiting on his bowl then asked Devin for a million more things, ignoring how many people were waiting, and then another mobile order printed and another person came in and got in line. 8 orders all at once and there is only ONE person working. I felt so bad for him because early in the day is obviously the busiest time for juice places and they left him all alone! Devin finished up with the needy man and came over to take our order. He looked a bit flustered but was still very nice to us. He scanned my reward to make my juice $3, but in his haste he didn't realize that it didn't apply to my order and I didn't see it until we left, so there's a bunch of points down the toilet, all because they are trying to cushion the blow of Covid-19 by making one person do the work of two or three. I'm guessing the mobile order that printed before we arrived was a big one, because Devin was working on multiple juices and said that ours would be next. Right when he was putting lids on the drinks, an angry man yelled that he didn't want his order anymore and stormed out, even though he could see that it was ready. I could go on and on, but everyone in the store got to talking and we were all stunned that Nekter is okay with making one person run the store during such a busy time. My review would be 5 stars if this location wasn't constantly understaffed. I understand that many businesses cut staff during quarantine because not many people were eating out, but restaurants have been picking up, so they should be scheduling more staff. This is definetly a smaller and less done up nektar juice bar in comparison to all the other location. However, it is one of the most efficient nektar juice bar I've been to, and with great customers service as well. As usual, I always go for the pink flamingo and my greenies . And they were ready almost instantly. Maybe I've always been to the busier nektar, I almost never get my drink within 5 minutes, so I will for sure come back to this location. However. I felt like the pink flamingo is a bit sweeter than the ones I had before. Not sure if that's just the fruit for the seasons or slightly different recipe, I do hope it's a bit less sweet. But the greenies is as good and smooth as I remembered it to be. I still think for the amount of juice I get, nektar 's pricing is actually quite reasonable, compared to bottled juice that sells in grocery and other juice places from mothers market. For the freshness and made to order, it is a good option. The 1 star off, is to the store setup. It felt a bit bare and less seatings around. So it doesn't felt as welcome and as comfortable seating for more than 5 to 10 minutes. It's a good grab and go place, not for dates for sure. read more

I go here here and there. It's expensive but good. They always take a long time which is fine if the quality is worth it. Today however, the service was horrendous. While we were ordering the male taking our order was very distracted. I specifically asked for no banana inside the Acai mix or on top of my bowl. They made it wirh banana in and on top. I'm pregnant and banana hasn't settled with me otherwise I wouldn't have said anything. While we're ordering someone complained about receiving the wrong order. He gave her a free drink for next time. Then was going to remake her order. Then they went to remake mine and were out of Acai. Never did he offer me anything for my inconvenience.
