Usually when I request an allergy at juice bars and other smoothie locations my drink has no side effects of cross contamination from other ingredients. I'm not sure this was the case I still had some reaction from the drink purchased. I would think they would take a little extra care for their guests with the price point being a little on the higher end. Time and time again I have to say this. CHANGE YOUR GLOVES. The employee today touched the register screen with gloves then I watched him scoop banana chunks with the same gloved hands and toss into my smoothie. He also had the same pair of gloves on when I arrived so who knows how long he had on the same pair. Nekter has been letting me down lately not to mention the lack of help. I was at MOD Pizza ordering a couple pizzas. While I was waiting, I noticed Nektar Juice Bar was next door. I love acai bowls so I thought I check them out. This isn't my first time trying Nektar. I've been to one at another location. Upon entry, the staff member was working on another order. He appeared to be the only one working at the time. I waited about 5 minutes or so at the counter before the gentleman took my order. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Ambiance was bright and has good vibes. It has one all gender restroom which is always good to have IMHO.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I went with the Acai Superfood. It was decent. I was hoping it would be a bit sweeter though, but then again, it has ingredients that probably aren't sweet in general. Luckily, the bananas, granolas, and agave gave it some sweetness. when I walked in, the employee was in the back, which is fine, but when she came to the register, didn't even greet me all she asked was what's my order. When I was telling her, she seemed very irritated and very bothered that I was even there. Then she made my açai bowl while I was sitting there, waiting finished it put it on the counter didn't even say it was ready just threw it in bag and walked to the back.. she seemed irritated that I was bothering her by making her work second it look like she just rolled out of bed not even presentable. This is our favorite smoothie spot. Thet have delicious Acai bowls as well. All made fresh to order. Unlike competitors, never had a bad drink or bowl here. They also have a fridge section with bottled juice shots and cleanses. The service is decent. They always are prompt making our orders. Can get busy if a workout class let's out. I am a new Nekter addict so I was happy to find this location next to Costco where I shop a lot. On our visit with six of us there was only one associate and she worked her buns off. The Acia bowls were excellent as usual and the shakes for the kids were amazing (at least that's what the kids said). The best thing I liked about this location was that it smelled very clean. The bathroom was immaculate. Obviously this associate "Fatima" keeps busy during not so busy hours. Lastly if you eating in they have kids games ( Jenga, Uno and over sized Playing cards) at this location to keep them busy while the adults eat. We will be back! read more

I absolutely love the option of splitting a bowl! I typically can't finish a whole one on my own and for just a few extra dollars, you can split it with a friend or family member and it comes with the same amount of delicious toppings! I had a terrible experience today at this location! I walked in and didn't even get a hello , hi or anything ! Walked in at around 1PM 7/19 and the girl working looked extremely overwhelmed she actually looked irritated that we walked in. After about 4-5 minutes of me standing there she finally said "do you want to order" rude as ever! I said yes, please and then she proceeded to finish whatever she was doing didn't even say "it will be a few minutes" nothing ! After 4/5 minutes go by she stands in front of the register and stares. Doesn't even say a word! Then she completely got my order wrong and to top it off charged me for protein didn't add it , and the strawberries used were rancid. I get the feeling they're busy and understaffed but this is NOT the consumers fault. A simple " I'm sorry I'll be right with you" would have done the trick. This location sucks, they added agave even though I said NO agave ( 'my wife is allergic) I ended up giving her bowl Away. Total waste of $21!!! I'm on the fence. Was craving a healthy snack. I ordered the chia pudding from the breakfast menu. It was really yummy. I thought it was going to be on the smaller size given it is a breakfast item and the very reasonable price. But, it was pretty big and I had some left over. My doubts about this location was that the staff were not very welcoming. I wasn't greeted--despite being the only person there. When I walked up to order, I was at the "wrong end" of the counter. The young lady ask, "you gonna order?" When I said yes, she told me, "then go over there," as she pointed to the opposite end of the counter. Never a smile. Our entire exchange was stone cold. I guess it was the end of her shift because after she left my order on the counter, she disappeared. Again, no customer service, "order's ready" or anything. She just made eye contact with me as she pushed my pudding across the counter. The facility smelled as bleach which I'm not sure is a bad thing, but did not make for a pleasant sit down. Although things were bleached, the floor was a mess. Maybe they had a rush of customers before I arrived and hadn't swept yet. Not sure. If you order quick and take it to go, that's probably your best bet. Just be sure to order from the right end of the counter when you go! read more
