Therefore I was a little upset that I had placed the order and even paid for it online to avoid a line and there was a mix-up! However Karen & Belle were quick to not only acknowledge the mistake but took ownership and were very apologetic and then tagged team to correct the order and make my 6 Acai Banana Bowls in a record 5 minutes. Great idea but bad execution, I went in thinking this was gonna be a good acai bowl but I was truly disappointed. First off the line was really long, I don't mind if a line is long but it moved ridiculously slow at 4pm on a Saturday. Second, the wait for my banana acai bowl was about 10-15 minutes. Another thing I noticed was that the person behind me in line got their bowl before me. After trying the acai banana bowl I was shocked at how chalky the base was. All of the toppings were okay(granola/banana/blueberries/strawberries) but my base tasted like a raw and green banana blended up. This was my first time here and definitely my last, $8-9 for a tiny bowl that tastes like a raw banana is not worth it and the whole day juice "cleanse" sounds like a $40 scam that will make u lose water weight. Also I looked at the nutrition facts on the "protein" shake in a bottle and noticed that it has 200 cal and 5 grams of protein per serving but it has 2 servings.... of u spend $6 on a protein shake with 10g protein and 400 calories you've got to be kidding me. read more

I have been to several different locations - bowls are good. This location however differs from the rest. First, be prepared to wait a LONG time. Staff turnover seems high, for I have never seen the same person working there. This is a newer store so maybe they haven't figured out staffing levels yet. Also, as a calorie counter, I don't understand why this locations calories for their food differs from their corporate or other stores - seems strange. As an example - they post 570 calories for their Acai superfood bowl but their parent website lists this bowl at 400 (so do all the other stores I have been to) for me, 170 calories matters because that's treadmill time I don't want! - I'd really like to know which one is correct (maybe both if they are making It different) Anyways - Nektar makes good Acai bowls but it would be quicker for you to drive to another store than wait at this one. In addition, while waiting, you get the pleasure of listening to the blenders grind in a very small room. Horrible experience. Just walked in (Tuesday evening at 6:25pm) and there were two gals working. There way one couple in front of me waiting to order (we walked in around the same time). Neither girls mentioned that they would be right with us however we waited and waited just to order. When I finally did order I ordered a acia banana berry bowl with whey protein. I took a seat and waited patiently. 15 mins later the couple that had ordered in front of me got their bowls so I assumed mine would be next. After that the girl called an order for "Dana"... clearly NOT my name which I had given her. I assumed it was an order received over the app because she quickly started packing it togo. I waited another 10 mins, saw both girls cleaning everything up and noticed there was no more order tickets to be made. When I got up to ask if my order was being made the same gal I placed the order with asked "well what did you order".... when I repeated my order she reached onto the fridge and grabbed the order that had been prepared 10 mins prior. 35 mins later.... as I got back into my car I opened my bowl to find NO bananas on top.... definelty not per my request. Went to get a few drinks there yesterday evening. When I got there, there were people waiting inside and outside for their orders. It was busy but not crazy busy. When I entered the store I was not greeted by anyone. I stood at the register for 5 minutes before someone came to the register. They did not apologize for the wait or even greet me before asking what I wanted. After ordering I was told to wait outside until they called my name. I waited outside for about 5-10 minutes and realized they had not called out for me. Their door is also closed to how someone can hear their name is beyond me. I walk in and wait a few more minutes. They called out my first drink. I went to go grab it and the worker confirmed it was mine and told me to have a nice day. I let her know there was one more drink. She looked confused and said it will be right out. Everyone had slowly gotten their orders, even the people who arrived after me. I stood there waiting when they finally asked me what I was waiting for. I told them and another worker claimed she had already made it,placed it on the counter and someone else might have taken it. At this point it was already 20 minutes of waiting for 2 drinks. They said they would make it but had to clean the juicer first. As she is cleaning the juicer, very slowly I might add, my smoothie has just been sitting on the counter melting. I asked if they can put it in the freezer or remake it and she just put it in the fridge. After 30 whole minutes I finally got my second drink and my semi melted smoothie. No apology, no refund or discount. Even after the rush, there were 4 workers there, no line and it still took forever for them to get my order out to me. read more

I come here at LEAST once a day since they've opened. I am so happy I don't have to drive to Moreno Valley everyday now to get my greens, and the quality and nutritional options are way better than other local places. I absolutely LOVE the staff they have chosen to work there. I will update this when I get names. This morning I had my two year old with me and she was throwing a tantrum, so I was trying to get out of there fast. I had to take her outside while I was waiting because she was making a scene... one gentleman working saw what was going on and came outside to see my ticket and said "that'll be right up" the other guy who made my smoothie brought it to me outside and the other gentleman who asked for my ticket was right behind him holding a little half filled cup of leftover smoothie that was overfill from my drink. Instead of just throwing it in the trash, he took it upon himself to help a stressed out mom out, handed it to my daughter and she smiled. I have to say I was a fan of this place. However the last 2 times I ordered from the app I was told that the product I ordered was not available. The second time this occurred I was called in advance about 5 minutes after I ordered but was told I needed to come to the store for a refund. This was extremely inconvenient, not only did I not receive what I ordered, I had to go out of my way for a refund of a product I did not receive. I was never compensated for the inconvenience either time & was just told sorry, it's not available. Well Nekter you lost a customer this time, I'm not going to continue to waste my time ordering a product when it may not even be available. You should update your app & teach your employees better customer service. read more

I love nekter! I am super happy that one finally opened up in riverside! I have been to several other locations, including, upland, Newport, and rancho! This one is similar to those in the look and quality. Everything is always fresh. I used the app for a big order the other day, part of my order was 2 green juices and they said "they did not have that as part of my order" so my husband had to come to the car and grab my phone to show the receipt, they ended up finding them which was no real big deal, however, they did not label which juice was which. This was a bit frustrating because I am nursing and can't have parsley, my husband and I had to try to guess which one was mine because we had already left. The other 5 or 6 times that I have been there, they have been awesome. Hopefully they make sure to get phone orders down correctly, considering most people who put in phone orders are usually on the run :) they aren't friendly, but they haven't been rude either, they often have a very neutral approach. read more

Juice is great and fresh and delicious they just need friendlier service. It's nice when you walk into a place that gives you a warm welcome as soon as you walk in. Especially in a location of such a small size. I understand they're busy but a simple "hello, welcome!" Or "we will be right with you" would be awesome. I came in and ordered from my mobile app. Walked in, wasn't greeted. I know I was a little earlier than my expected ready time, it wasn't until all the other customers left and I was the only one standing there that they asked if I had been helped. Not a huge selection of smoothie drinks as compared to other places I frequent but I tried the first one listed under smoothies. It's good but not great. Fella with a black handlebar mustache asked if I wanted small or large. I said large as under the word smoothie there were two sizes listed. Then he said I owed $10 something! I asked why so much and he said that's what it is. I asked why then did the price say $8.25 and pointed to the larger and higher price of the two listed under smoothie. He said oh and was charging for the largest they offer in the store and pointed to the prices under the "juices" selection. Whatever. I did say it was my first time visiting. He asked for my name for the order and that was that. The girl who had my order said my name and then walked away. That was that. I was the only customer at the time so they were not busy. When I left there is a sign saying you can add free fruit selections after so many visits. Nothing was mentioned about a customer loyalty card so I don't know anything about that. read more

How is this place still open. We have had several instances when the store never received our online order. Shame on us for trying them once again. We placed an online order on Monday to be picked up on Wednesday, only to show up and be told that yet again they did not receive the order. Ok in this pandemic we will cut them some slack. So we paid for the order and was told it would be in Friday. We arrived on Friday only to be told our order was not in and there were many people in front of us who needed their orders filled. An apology was all we were given and a commitment that the manager would call is later that night. Thank goodness we did not hold our breathe for the call because it never came in. Great menu, but the place is unfortunately ruined by the employees' attitudes. The staff's bad attitudes include no smiling, no greeting to customers, and no knowledge of the products they sell. I don't want to compare the place to Starbucks because I would much rather have a healthy drink from Nekter's excellent menu, but if it means getting the stink-eye from the staff as if customers are bothering them whenever they come in, then I'm often compelled to pass right by and move on to Starbucks, where we feel welcomed. Nekter's employees seem like they're all fairly young, so that is understandable, but so are Starbucks' employees. However, Starbucks' staff are trained to make customers feel comfortable. It's a shame because my friends and I have sometimes hesitated to go in simply because we didn't want to deal with the staff's attitudes that day. I am sure that these same employees would have better attitudes if they were under different management (like other places). If Nekter wants its customers to feel comfortable and welcomed, it needs to institute better customer service training, or it needs to have a manager ensuring that they smile, initiate a friendly interaction, and have at least a basic understanding to explain the great products they sell. read more

although their customer service was pretty decent and the place is kept super clean and nice.... i specifically told the lady tonight i was allergic to pineapple and she told me to do pitaya instead since the açaí has pineapple in the blend already, perfect! too bad when i finally got home and in the light of my apartment after having a few bites mixed with almond butter so it made it kind of hard to fully taste the base i see its açaí not pitaya in my bowl.... if i was more allergic than food poisoning symptoms this could've REALLY hurt someone. you need to be more careful and train the staff to double, triple check when someone says they're allergic. i genuinely hope this doesn't trigger my allergy into getting worse than it already was seeing as my itchy mouth and cramps stomach are starting to set in. thanks for giving me an allergic reaction after specifically switching it to not have pineapple lol read more

I visited this location over the weekend. It was my first time at any Nekter juice bar so I was excited to try this place out. What immediately caught my eye was a sign outside advertising a limited edition Charcoal Vanilla Skoop. I saw that so I decided to give this place and that limited edition flavor a try. I was quickly disappointed when I walked into the shop and ordered only to be told that they had run out for the day. I ended up ordering the Chocolate Skoop instead which was good and extremely chocolatey but not necessarily my favorite since I am not the biggest chocolate fan. Overall I was fairly disappointed since I went in wanting one thing and them not having it. I understand that things run out, especially when they are limited edition, but in this situation I would've at least appreciated it if the sign weren't out advertising something that they had already run out of. My suggestion is if you want something that typically runs out, call ahead of time to make sure they still have it. I guess I will have to do this next time if I decide to come back. read more

I had enjoyed Nektar with the exception of a misstep here and there. They weren't minding proper food handling practices today by handling money/ credit cards and then proceeding to cut fruit without changing their gloves. Grossed me out to the extent that I removed the fruit from my bowl once I got home. Also, the employee kept readjusting his eyeglasses and touching the fruit without changing his gloves.
