We bought our Mazda at CarMax and when we needed a battery put in, CarMax in Cool Springs told us we had to wait 3 days before they could even look at the car. We called Nelson Mazda and they got us right in. 2 hours later we had a new battery and a full inspections of everything on the car. It was so nice to get GOOD service and have something as simple as a battery handled in a timely fashion. I would NOT recommend getting a car or a service warranty from CarMax. They have no weekend service hours and make you wait days for simple things like a battery. I will only buy and go to this Mazda dealer for work on our Mazda 3. read more

The service advisor at the Cool Springs Location, Devin Rogers went above and beyond to schedule me on short notice and get my Mazda serviced. Several calls to the Antioch location were simply blown off but when I called and spoke with Devin he told me they were booked but if I could be there at 7:00 AM the next morning he would do his best to get me in. I was there at 7:00 and back on the road within the hour, this advisor knows what customer service is and could give the "staff" in Antioch some lessons. read more

Perhaps one of the most arduous and unenjoyable car purchasing experiences I have ever had. While the young car salesman made every effort to improve the transaction, he was continually stymied by the management. Simple business ethics and customer service are apparently concepts Nelson Mazda forbids. At multiple points information was conveyed that was misleading or in fact blatantly untrue. I implore you to privately inspect all vehicle purchased from this dealer. Bringing this up to the management resulted in a shrug and a sorry, thats just how it is. Nelson Mazda truly embodies the stories of crooked dealerships not only in my dealings with them, but as I was going through my own paperwork, I was able to overhear another more experienced salesman fleece a couple for over $1300 of unnecessary addons and "coverage" on their first car purchase. While the experience was incredibly ungracious, as final adieu after purchasing the vehicle their continued lack of customer respect and inattention to detail was further demonstrated by the 1/4 tank of gas, empty washer fluid, and empty coolant fluid I was pleasantly made aware of on my drive home. read more

These guys were great. I went in to look at a vehicle. They let me take a test drive and when it came time to talk about vehicle pricing and financing it was "no haggle". The price was what it was. I ended up not purchasing the vehicle as it was not exactly what I wanted ( the vehicle was great, just not the best fit for me). I bought my Mazda3 from the downtown location for convenience, and was very annoyed when that dealership closed just a few months later. The Antioch location was 12 miles away and now the closest place for me to get service, and to be honest I wasn't a fan. The people were all nice enough but never really went out of their way on anything. And the waiting room is...just yuck. I took a chance one day about a year ago and decided to make the slightly longer drive down to the Cool Springs location and let me just say it was night and day. A beautiful dealership, a nice waiting room with the amenities of a higher end brand. The service staff are all so competent and unlike the other location, they DO go above and beyond. Special shout out to Devin. They apply coupons when I forget mine at home (Antioch, nope). They wash my car after service (Antioch, nope). They offer loaner cars when they can (Antioch, never). And Cool Springs got approval for an out of warranty repair that I had been trying to get Antioch to fix while it was STILL under warranty. Even comparing them to the service I got downtown, and that was perfectly fine, I think if it were still open I would drive right past it and go to Cool Springs. I've owned four Mazdas in my life, I love the brand, and Nelson Mazda Cool Springs will be where I buy my next one. read more

I chose Nelson Mazda after reading other's raving reviews of this dealership. I went in without fully intending to buy something that day, and was greeted by Warner who went over how Nelson Mazda was different than other car dealerships. Once he heard more about what I was looking for, we set out to test drive three cars. The test drive course itself was incredibly well thought out. Even with each drive taking around 12 minutes, Warner didn't rush or hurry me along. He kindly answered all my questions and never once made me feel pressured to choose. At the end of the drives, I had pretty much decided on one car. The owner then came out to price the car and let me know what my trade in would be worth. Ultimately, they gave me way more than other dealerships had quoted me on my trade in. The whole process was seamless and streamlined. Every person I talked to at Nelson Mazda was knowledgeable, kind, engaging, non-aggressive, and relaxed. I loved the environment and ultimately felt 100% comfortable trusting Nelson Mazda with this big decision. I'm so happy I did my homework and ended up there!!
