It's also in a great location with easy parking, which is always a plus. My husband and I shared a bowl, and since there were certain proteins he could not eat, the staff was kind enough to separate the protein options for us without any issue. Small detail, but it made a big difference. The protein tasted super fresh and the price honestly felt worth it for the quality. They also have a ton of sauce options to choose from. My favorites were the spicy mayo, unagi, and ponzu. The only thing I did not really find appealing was the wasabi since the color looked a little dull compared to what I'm used to. They also offer a first responder discount that comes with a free drink, plus a student/staff discount which I thought was really cool. I can't speak for the service at the actual restaurant but this location alone has inspired me to reinstate my dash pass! This is the best kind of food to order for delivery, especially since at my current work location there are not a lot of good food places nearby. This is a newer poke spot to the Brentwood neighborhood. It's is spacious and nice and clean inside. I was very impressed with the menu and choices of add ons. I'm used to bowl scoops choices of 2 or 3 scoops between regular and large bowls. This place is 2 scoops for regular and 4 scoops for large bowls. Thank heavens we finally have a local yummy poke spot where the food seems fresh, the environment clean and you have to love that they support on duty service people with a discount! I find that even the small bowl is so generous because things that you normally get charged extra for (crab, avocado) are included so it can make the smallest portion size hearty enough for the hungriest person. I love getting their salmon and tuna and you can pick a few different bases (greens, rice, cucumber or a mixture). You can get rolls as well but I have never gotten them. The selection of toppings and options is plentiful, fresh, and well stocked. It actually took us a few visits to realize the avocado is included -- which honestly feels rare these days! Huge bonus. Two large bowls with your choice of greens or rice, unlimited toppings, and four scoops of protein for around $45 is a really solid value. Today, I stopped by Poké Hana unexpectedly as I was in the area at Homegoods. I love poké and haven't found a place I liked yet in the area so was willing to give it a try! First impression was that the restaurant was nice & clean. You could tell everyone at the front of the restaurant are still getting the hang of the flow and how to operate. My boyfriend & I ordered kids bowls as we didn't want too much food. For my order, I got a bowl with half sushi rice & half green, with sweet corn, mango, edamame, green cucumber, green onion, seaweed salad, avocado, and crab with salmon (spicy mayo + sesame sauce), furikake, and crunchy shallots. I love that they don't charge extra for avocado or crab (unless you ask for an extra scoop). Some places charge extra for that and I think the fact that this is included makes the place even more special. Here is why I docked down a star: The experience went pretty well until it came to reaching the register. It seemed as if they must have given me the incorrect amount of protein to the point where (assuming) the manager was quietly scolding one of the employees in front of us, saying "I told you"... which made the experience awkward for me. I was planning to add more toppings to my bowl but felt the need to leave immediately because of how awkward it was. As someone that focuses on operations, they should probably consider using a different color bowl for the kids bowl to avoid mistaken portions or try using the paper forms as there can easily be miscommunication when the bowl gets handed off to the protein area. As for the bowl itself, it was very good! Every ingredient was good especially the mango which was a delicious touch to my bowl. The only ingredient that wasn't up to par was the avocado - unfortunately it was not fully ripe but still edible -- the rest of the bowl was so good that I wasn't even that mad about it. I'd definitely come back regardless of the experience, mistakes are expected when a restaurant is just opening so I understand and hope they find a solution to the issues that arise. A dedicated Poke place has come to Brentwood! It's conveniently located across from Streets of Brentwood with ample parking. It's your typical build your own bowl but they also offer sushi rolls. Their veggie bowl was $13.95 and they were very generous with the toppings and tofu scoops. Brown rice is an option at no additional charge (a lot of other places up charge for brown rice.) I got a very colorful bowl that included edename, seaweed salad, corn, carrots, cucumber and tofu. The citrus ponzo sauce was the perfect flavor for all veggies.
