At around 1:00pm we walked over from our beach spot to have some lunch. We sat ourselves and the server was quick to check in with us! We ordered strawberry daiquiris and they were perfect for what we wanted and had a good price. We also ordered fried pickles for the table that were soooo good! My party ordered a fried chicken sandwich with fries, chicken tenders with fries, and a cheese and chicken quesadilla with tortillas and salsa. Of course, the cost is overpriced but that makes sense for the convenience of being beach front. The chicken strips were a bit rubbery and chewy maybe due to being overcooked. The sandwich and quesadillas were great! A special note: the radio station they had plying was full of fun songs and we were very comfortable sitting with all the fans blowing. What a cool place to hangout on the Pensacola Beach! It's great for watching the waves as well as people watching. The food is quite good! I had the buffalo chicken wrap and it was spiced just right. It came with chips and salsa. My friend had a burger, which came with fries. The burger was big and the fries were nice and crispy. We ordered the Watermelon Spritz cocktails which were perfect for the weather. The service was exceptional! Lexi was fun, energetic server who anticipated our needs and was constantly checking back in with us. Water glasses were always filled and her attentiveness was greatly appreciated. I have mixed feelings about my experience at The Dock. I took my first trip to Pensacola this past Saturday and Earlier in the day, I stopped by while enjoying the beach and had a great experience. The female server at the outside bar was incredibly friendly and welcoming. I ordered two frozen drinks (they only come in one size), and everything was perfect; great vibe, great service. Later that evening, I decided to walk back for another round. The outside bar was closed, so I went inside. Unfortunately, the experience was completely different. I was approached by a bartender with a man bun who was immediately rude and dismissive. I tried to order the same two frozen drinks for myself, and he abruptly told me I needed two IDs, even though I was alone. His attitude made me feel really uncomfortable, like I was bothering him just by being there. It's disappointing that such a great first impression was completely overshadowed by such poor service later on. Customer service should be consistent, no matter the time of day. read more

We had a group of six, and the waitress completely mishandled the checks. She charged the wrong items on every single bill. After everyone else paid and left, she added all the uncharged items to my bill. When I refused to pay for what others had already covered, she told me I couldn't leave. I was literally held there over her own mistake. It was an incredibly uncomfortable and unprofessional experience. Despite everything, we had tipped her well. The location is perfect. Right on the beach. We dropped by late afternoon on a Wednesday. No one acknowledged our presence. We saw a few people at the bar and outside so we decided to sit outside. They stop cooking food at 5 (it was around 4:30 so we didn't bother with it) we just ordered a bloody mary and a vodka and sprite. The drinks came in disposable plastic cups and were nothing to write home about. My husband ordered the drinks and mentioned the bartender was nice. It would be helpful if guests were greeted and told what the protocol is with being waited on (or not), options on where you can sit and told up front hours of operation for the kitchen. read more

Stopped in here for a beer on the weekend the Blue Angels were flying on the beach. There's a shared public parking lot...so basically unlimited spaces. But on this very popular occasion, they're all taken by 9am. I ended parking about 1 1/2 miles away and did the easy walk in the beach. The atmosphere in this place was good. I did have a bit of a problem trying to get the bartenders attention. But in a very busy weekend, I expected it. There's a few TV monitors inside. There's also some outside seating along the boardwalk. On this weekend, the crowd was ready just to be out...since the pandemic began. People were friendly and easy to start up a conversation with. I didn't eat in this stop. But the good I saw looked good. No real problems with this place from what I saw. But nothing special stood out either. Located right on the beach, this must be a popular spot during the warmer weather. Prices were about what I expected for a place in the party zone of Pensacola Beach. read more

It was my first time to Pensacola beach today and this happened to be the closest restaurant. I went in to grab a drink and some chips and salsa. The chips were soggy with oil. There was barely any crunch. At times it felt more like chewing gum than chips. My grandma came with us and she can't walk that well and she ordered a lemonade and they served it to our other table and our waitress said you can go get it like in my opinion that's not appropriate to tell someone who is paying you. The only reason this place is still in business is because of it's location. We went there off season and it was depressing. It was like walking into a time warp back in the 1800's. The bartender seemed like she was bothered when we walked in. The other employees were just standing around. Like I said. The owner is lucky that it's on the beach because his employees aren't helping. There was a group of friends that was supposed to meet us at the dock and I promptly called them to not bother and told them to meet twenty feet away to crabs. WARNING: DO NOT ASK FOR EXTRA PEETA BREAD would give this zero stars if I could, I would never eat here again, no not because of the ant sized small portions with human sized prices but instead becasue of the fact that the management is so horrible. we asked for extra peeta bread (because there was only 6 peeta bread triangles provided to us) with our spinach and artichoke dip and the waitress came back and said "no, there's no button". we asked if she could get someone who knew how to imput it into their computer and she came back with a VOLATILE manager that yelled that we would have to buy another $11 dip to get any more peeta chips once again becasue "there was no button". when we said that this was ridiculous he then yelled at us threatening to have us arrested for "not paying" while screaming insults and obscenities at us. we had already payed our full bills and were willing to give them cash for extra peeta bread. he also gave us very clearly fake money for change and when we brought it up he said "first of all I didn't give you anything" when we asked who was in charge of this establishment he then went to the back after yelling some more and brought back more fake money... something suspicious is going on here for sure.... read more

Good staff good food but bad food had crawfish around like 8pm and some were fresh and some weren't and some were black 14$ for a plate and it's now 1:30am and I've been sick all night it's like they had made some in the morning and then mixed it with ones made that night and were using the same broth from those batches before hand and the shrimp was like rubber and way over done where it was difficult to peel will not be getting food here again I have never felt so sick and can't stop throwing up I am very upset .... Edit I called the manger this morning and spoken with them and found out the the crawfish is from and vendor and game me a second call back from corporate and they are getting this problem situated and they had given me a voucher for this problem I'm very glad that they are trying to be on top of their services read more

It was hot. I spent hours in the sun at the beach and wanted something frozen and alcoholic. The Dock is in such a great location that I went ahead and grabbed an iced beverage and sat overlooking the water. I got a Hurricane from the generic Wet Willy's bar, but was so unimpressed that I could barely finish it, and definitely didn't ask for more. I enjoyed the beach bar atmosphere, which I'd expect considering the location. This would be a great spot for a Wet Willy's or a Fat Tuesday's. read more

Today I attempted to eat here for the second time to give it another try. The first time, the food was not good at all but thought what the heck, I'm hanging out on the beach and it's almost lunch time so why not give it another try. I was trying to give the benefit of the doubt that they just had an off day...I waited at the back outside bar but that bartender was slammed so I went to the inside bar where only 2 couples were sitting. I waited and waited and waited some more, then tried to go back to the outdoor bar and she was still busy so back inside I go. I walk up to the bar as the bartender walks to my end so I tried to greet her with a "hey how are you doing" but that was totally ignored and she greeted someone else and totally ignored me. I patiently waited and when she did decide to ask "what can I get you", I politely asked if I could get a menu. That request was met with "a menu for food?" accompanied with a snarky look on her face. I said yes please. She then said " we don't serve lunch until 11". I was taken aback. I said, "so that's in 8 minutes so I have to wait to get a menu until then?" She replied "yeah you do". I mean it may have taken me a bit to decide what I would want to try again from this place. I was shocked. I was completely turned off at the idea of giving this place another chance let alone another penny of my money. What did I do for food? I walked next door and grabbed a seat at the bar at Crabs. There I was met with the friendliest bar tender who greeted me with a smile and a menu. Wish I could give this bar no stars whatsoever. Attended a casual event here in which the bar tenders did not ID any of the group we were with. They served underaged kids very strong drinks and gave them strong shots. Then proceeded to call the Pensacola PD on the kids they had served. VERY POOR MANAGEMENT. Bad for business and unprofessional. In addition, the bar knowing we had an event, still only staffed 2 bartenders for a group of 100+. The wait for a drink was ridiculous. Overall, a very negative experience. I would not recommend a visit to this poor managed venue. read more

Terrible, we couldn't get service so we left. We sat down at a table, waiting about 10 minutes and moved to the bar. A young guy was working or not working more like it. We asked if we could sit at the bar, there was no one else there, he said are you going to drink or eat. Well duh!!!! I said I think we have seen enough and went next door to the Crab restaurant( which was delicious). This restaurant has a great view and that's it. Do not recommend. Generally, the Dock is a great place to hang out, eat, drink, and enjoy live music. The drinks are cold, and they really DO have the best Bushwacker on the beach. But today was BY FAR the worst visit we ever had, and we've been here a number of times. We took a table near the dance floor to see the band, but still have a few of the beach. After being *ignored* by the waitress staff for 20 minutes, we decided to ask the bartender to take our order. He did and graciously took care of the first round. (*THANK YOU!*) It took another 20 minutes and a couple follow up visits to recieve our lukewarm burger and fries. Not a sterling day, Dock crew. But it won't keep me from coming back. Still one of the best places on the beach.
