Grilled Chicken Breast And Fish Fillet Basket

Stopped here on our way to Destin food was great views were even better unfortunately we had to take this review to Yelp to write about the poor service. Server was rude and proceeded to use derogatory terms after paying. Unfortunately we will not be returning, even though this place was a hidden gem server was having a bad day.

Daily drink specials. Frozen daqueries and happy hour for domestic beers and well liquor m-f 4-7pm. Beautiful view of white sand beach from open seating restaurant. Food served 11pm-5pm everyday except Tuesday kitchen stays open until 6pm. Bands on the beach Tuesdays and live bands Sunday afternoon.

It was my first time to Pensacola beach today and this happened to be the closest restaurant. I went in to grab a drink and some chips and salsa. The chips were soggy with oil. There was barely any crunch. At times it felt more like chewing gum than chips. The only benefit to going to this place is that it's so close to the beach, other than that I don't think I'd go again.

Bushwacker with shot of peanut butter

Drinks are the best here! Don't waste your time at bamboo willies. Bushwacker is creamier here and stays frozen longer. Never have to really wait for a drink either.

It wasn't only the great food and amazing drinks (The Bushwacker is the best in the world), but the amazing service by Lei.

"Goods" was our server & bartender, and he was very knowledgeable of the menu and offered us the best choices for our wants. he was very attentive & stayed on top of water refills as well! it might have been around 3-4pm when we were there and it was quiet, music was not too loud or over powering. the table we were seated at was inside, but the large windows were open, allowing all the crisp breeze to come in and a beautiful view of the water right there!! it was so gorgeous! we started with the bang-bang shrimp appetizer which was PHENOMENAL!! the portion sizes were great and left us with extra! perfect mix of spicy & sweet, and perfect crunchy. my fiancé got a bushwacker & i had some kind of watermelon drink and both were top notch. for our entrees, i had a blackened chicken caesar wrap & my fiancé got the blackened mahi-mahi tacos. both were so good i didn't get any pics of them lol. overall, our experience was truly perfect for a laidback afternoon dinner :) we can't wait to come back again!

I had to ask the host to find someone after waiting 15 minutes for someone to acknowledge us. Ordered the tuna poke nachos and a Harvest salad. Salad was large and tasty. Nachos were a large plate of chips with 15 pieces max of tiny cubes of tuna. That's AFTER taking the advice of our waitress to double the tuna. (Of course for an up-charge). We confirmed with her since it was so few pieces, and she said yes, 4 ounces of tuna. The sauces were tasty but so not worth the price tag. There were several large tables full of people around us and a live musician, so the noise level - on the outside patio even - was super loud. We had to yell to each other at our table. If you're looking for a party place on the beach, this seems like your place.

5/10/2026: Grand Marlin is top-notch!…read more We had an incredible experience here on May 10th. Our server, Brittany, gave excellent service and was incredibly accommodating. Since the three of us in our group aren't big eaters, we asked to split a portion of everything we ordered, and she didn't blink an eye. We started with the BBQ shrimp, which was fantastic! It's not a heavy, traditional BBQ flavor--it's more of a rich, New Orleans-style sauce. With six shrimp total, it was perfect for splitting, especially with the delicious bread served alongside it to soak up that amazing sauce. Nom!! Two of us split the wedge salad, and Brittany happily accommodated our special request for ranch instead of blue cheese. Our other friend had the kale salad and thoroughly enjoyed it. For the main course, the three of us split the filet mignon, which came with a dollop of mashed potatoes. The char on the steak was absolutely fabulous, and the potatoes paired with it perfectly! The restaurant is fairly dark and can get a bit noisy on busy nights, but we enjoyed our time immensely. Grand Marlin has private rooms and is easily the most high-end restaurant on Pensacola Beach. Our total was $178.00 before tip, which is well worth it. The attire ranges anywhere from dressy to beach casual, they have several great seating options for special occasions, and there's even a gift shop with some great finds. For anyone who remembers, this used to be the Boy on a Dolphin years ago. As an honorary Pensacolian since 1975, I consider myself a bit of an expert on all things Pensacola Beach--and you won't be disappointed here! Pro tip: Get a group photo by the bay before leaving. Even at night, it shows off those perfect Pensacola views.

The Grouper Picatta was fresh and I would order it again and again!! It was the best fish I have had in a LONG time--and we live in South Florida surrounded by great seafood restaurants. We both had the same dish. Our friends had the wasabi tuna and raved about it. All four of us shared the brownie sundae. Would come to this restaurant again. Great sunset views too. Parking was close and easy to get a spot--this was a week day and they were packed! We went on their wine special day for 50% off--nice surprise.
