New favorite pizza place!!! The cup and char pizza is their showstopper. Their dough is AMAZING, so light and airy. The cups are crispy on all the edges, and the mascarpone is unexpected but does a great job balancing the saltiness and adding juiciness to the dish. Get their ranch!!!!! It is completely unlike any other ranch I've ever had. Super fresh, very dill-forward. It was great with both pizzas! Pesto cream was also delicious but paled a bit in comparison, in my opinion. We went there a week ago and have already ordered from them again. I dream of this pizza. They also do BOGO deals on UberEats (not sure how often, but I saw it listed on a Monday night)! Probably the best pizza I've had. This is a small place you might miss as you drive by. It's nestled in between a few other buildings, but if you're looking you won't miss the yellow awning right out front. Super clean, open kitchen & great atmosphere. They only sell one size pizza, and that is a 12 inch. Menu is pretty simple. We ordered the "cup char" pizza thin crust perfectly cooked, toppings to the edge with a little crust on the end which was perfect for mopping up the plate. The cup char was little pepperonis that curl up when they are cooked and they have a bit of a spice to them. There was a perfect amount of cheese and the pizza was topped off with a few dollops of mascarpone, which was a nice little treat. They also sell salads, cheesecake, and have some canned and bottled non-alcoholic drinks available. I would highly recommend this place, I will definitely be back for more!! read more

I've driven past this location a few times because it's on a busy street, but I never really considered going in until I started seeing reviews when looking for local restaurants. Regardless, I finally decided to eat here, and my personal journey was simple: I just wanted to get a to-go pizza, which leads to something I'm not a big fan of: they don't take orders over the phone(at least they didn't the day I went. I called a different day and a person answered instead of an automated message); rather, you're redirected to the website, which isn't a deal breaker but may not be the easiest ordering experience for some people, so don't get your non-tech savvy mother/grandma to try to order over the phone, although anyone with basic computer skills should have no trouble ordering a pizza. Once there, another minor inconvenience will be parking; it is a small space in a very popular area, so parking is understandably limited. I came in on a Wednesday evening, so I only had to park a couple of stores down, but I'm sure parking will be short on a busy weekend, so you'll definitely be taking a small walk to get to the restaurant. Still, parallel parking is required in their main parking spots. The parking spaces are large, but Texas drivers may be a little amusing, so of course I saw some people struggling with the parking, so it can be an entertaining show to watch. If you're not the best parallel parker, be prepared to potentially get some judgmental looks. Nonetheless, I'm sure the pizza is the star appeal everybody is interested in, and I'm at a loss for words. As an Oak Cliff resident, there aren't many pizza alternatives, and I usually dine up the street at Old Hags, but this spot might become my new go-to site. I got a standard Cup & Char pizza containing house tomato sauce, cup & char pepperoni, mozzarella, mascarpone, and the dough is said to have been aged for 72 hours. Because the pizza was divided into six slices, I presumed it was a simple 10 inch pizza, so for pizza lovers, one pizza might be enough for 1-2 people. Anyway, the pizza itself had a deep flavor, the crust was incredibly crunchy, which was excellent for me, and the mascarpone mix had a very beautiful, subtle sweet taste that came with every occasional bite as it appeared to be splattered randomly. The price was high but well worth it given how rich the flavor was, so I'm confident they're utilizing the freshest ingredients available. With that stated, I believe this will become a popular destination when it gains more recognition and will undoubtedly outperform others just on the basis of flavor. I personally believe this is the greatest incoming pizza business in Oak Cliff. I will definitely return to try out the different pizzas. read more

I ordered online through Yelp, excited to try out a different pizza shop! It was a cold night and while the website said there was parking, because it was a Friday night, the lot was full so I had to park almost a half mile down the road. I got the text my order was ready while I was walking in. I got there, waited my turn in my line, and when I got to the front, the young girl with big round glasses and dark curly hair, addressed me. I said, I'm here for a pickup order, gave her my name and this is when the trouble began. First she said there was no order under that name. After trying my first name, then my last name, maybe even my phone number, she finally asked- what did you order?? I said two cauliflower crust pizzas. She immediately said, with the utmost confidence oh, well, we haven't had any cauliflower pizza orders come through all night so are you sure you're at the right place??? --which of course I was-- Finally, as a last ditch effort, she asked, 'who did you order it from?'. In that moment, I said, I dunno, something online (bc honestly I rarely order directly off an app). Then she confirmed I never made an order. My only mistake was not bringing my phone with me in the first place, because at that point, I told her I would go get my phone to prove to her that I ordered and paid for these pizzas. Reminder, it was really cold and I had parked half a mile away. So I rushed to get my phone, came back to the store, and waited in yet another line. When it was finally my turn again, I showed her my phone and the order and she searched again, finally finding my order and goes ... hmmm... oh, well, you ordered on yelp so you told me wrong. Given, that was AFTER my name had been searched, AFTER my order had been searched and AFTER being told no cauliflower crusts have been ordered that night. At this point, I'd been trying to get my pizza for almost 20 minutes. Finally, she goes OOOOOH, turns immediately behind her, grabs two pizzas from the top of the oven and merely passes it to me and reminded me that I ordered it on yelp- indicating it was my fault for all the delays. At that point, I was so aghast at her demeanor, and was not about to be blamed *and shamed* for HER mistakes. So I point blank asked, are you going to acknowledge your mistake?? Her eyes widened and she literally turned around and walked away to hide?? in a back area. It was the absolute most bizarre, unprofessional thing I have ever experienced. At that point, I called to her saying, who is your manager?? (Bc this was completely unacceptable.) She tried to ignore me, so I told her, I'm not leaving until I speak to someone. She then walked back over, said he's outside on a break, and I said, I'm happy to wait- I've waited this long- what's another five minutes?? The manager walked up immediately and addressed my concerns. Now, while I get he was doing his best- he had the audacity to say to me, 'I hate to tell you this ma'am, but that's just that generation.' Mind you, I am a teacher, and I'd like to think that it's an adult's job to lead the youth. He could've held her accountable and simply made her acknowledge her mistake- but I suppose that's just too much to ask for these days, according to his logic. He asked dismissively if there was anything that would fix the situation, and I said yes- being acknowledged that I was not at fault for the mishap. He did that, barely, and I left. Quite frankly, that was a first time visit, and maybe bc the pizza was room temp by the time I got home to eat it- it wasn't very good. I won't be going back. I'll stick to Eno's, where the pizza is always delicious, where I'm treated as a valued customer, and where I've never once had to wait (much less be blamed) for my order. Our favorite pizza place closed, couldn't get enough help. So we tried Neony. Quite disappointed. Pizza was just okay. We ordered the Margherita. Crust, okay - not much flavor, though nicely crisp. Sauce acceptable. No tomatoes, 3 or 4 pieces of basil, light on cheese. Salad was uneventful, seemed like packaged spring mix, a few cherry tomatoes, a few chunks of mozzarella - which doesn't have enough taste to be used in a salad. They have some sauces in the cooler but charge for them. The people who rave about this place have never had really great pizza. Probably won't go back. read more

After hearing some good things about this place we decided we had to try it. We arrived on a Friday evening around 6:30pm and it was very busy, but we still got our pizzas pretty fast. Although the staff were very busy they were all very friendly. We decided to go non-traditional so we ordered Banh Mi and Pesto Cream Pizza. The Pesto Cream is exactly what you would expect. It's creamy and has a pesto flavor. The sausage on the Pesto Cream is very good. The Banh Mi was surprisingly VERY good and light which makes you want to keep eating more and more. The crust on both pizzas is warm, light, and crunchy on the outside. I wish they offered a side marinara sauce option to dip your crust in because their dough/crust is very good. 2 pizzas plus tip came to $40 which is a bit pricey for 12 inch pies, but the quality is definitely above average. read more

Perfect 'normal American' pizza. I like Neapolitan pizza but this is good mom-and-pop pizzeria pizza but just executed perfectly. The dough is perfectly fluffy and tastes good. (Seriously, the leftover crusts are some of the best bread I've eaten in a while as just bread.) The sauce and cheese are perfect. We got the Sausage and Friends - sausage was delicious; jalapeño gave the perfect amount of spice; red onion added brightness. Neony pizza is tasty, but their customer service is lacking. They used to have these fantastic bread sticks which is just their dough in stick form but sadly they recently stopped selling them. After I found this place, we fell in love with their pizzas. It became a weekly weekend tradition, their dough and breadsticks are the best. For the past two months we've been loyal customers. But we just had the worst experience with a new manager. She was rude, and telling me I did not eat what I ordered the weekend before because they no longer serve breadsticks on weekends "since forever." The employee normally at the register has always been kind and rings up the same order (with breadsticks) and have never had problems. It was the manager that came and went out of her way to stop our order. She handled the situation so poorly and soured our Friday night. They even remade it a second time and still couldn't get it correctly. We just wanted "no cheese" on half of our pizza!
