    Nutella pizza
    Dave F.

You can find pizza places anywhere. Few stand out these days. MisterO1 is one of those that stands out. Yelp helped us land on this place when we were looking for dinner. When we ordered, we were expecting a regular pizza experience. Our waitress recommended the Star Carlos which turned out to be a very unique pizza experience. It came out in the shape of a star with ricotta, chorizo, avocado, and some pico. Cheewawenos - this pizza made me make up a word. It was delicious! My son had a cheese pizza and a Nutella pizza. The picky one loved his as well. There was a slight wait to be seated, which I understand why. It was the food that created the wait. The staff were great as well! Can't wait to come back!

This place was delicious. I tried the one they are famous for and it was delicious. Idk how I feel about the cheese being all at the trust but it was good. My husband got a specialty Terry Blacks BBQ pizza and it as delicious! Definitely recommend if they still have it! Service was on point and friendly. Would come back.

Anthony and Zeke were very kind and greeted me upon entering the restaurant. This is very fancy with a casual Italian family vibe. They gave great recommendations and I ended up going with the mimmo pizza. Not disappointed. The pizza came out hot and fresh and the fresh basil with ranch and honey were a perfect compliment. The thin crust tastes freshly made and isn't like Blaze Pizza where it's frozen and reheated. The electric oven that mimics a wood fire of an allows for the perfect char on the crust. Loved the heat options as well. You can add as much spicy oil or red chili flakes or Parmesan that you'd like. They give you a plate to enjoy each slice with the amount of add ons you'd like. The carafe is a wonderful addition for you to relax and not have to worry about waving down a Server. Zeke was super fast at keeping my table clean and letting me know how to make the most of my experience. The pistachio pizza wasn't too sweet and great way to end the meal. Creamy and nutty in the best way. 10/10 GO HERE!

Out of the two weeks I've spent eating out or in my hotel room in DAL, this was the worst. Nothing had a lot of flavor. The Burrata had the most flavor but because they kept the tomatoes in slices and I didn't have a knife, it made it very hard to get anything but an entire slice of tomato in a bite. The Carprese was what sold me on ordering from here. If it had a drizzle of anything on it, to give it that pop of flavor other then mozzarella and tomato, I could not taste. It. It tasted very plane. The Star Michele, was only good if you spread the ricotta cheese which was only at the very top of the pizza in the folded crust, on to the rest of the flavorless pizza. The picture they have for it makes it look like if full of cheesy goodness in reality, it was just very flat bread with very little anything on it. Finally there was the Nutella pizza. The Nutella was great, the bread it was on was very much not.

Star Luca Pizza, Margherita Pizza, Caesar Salad Solid pizza place! Love the giant salad bowl, great for sharing. The pizzas are pretty good, portions are like 2 people per pizza. Thin crust. The Star Luca pizza is supposedly their award winning pizza, and it was great! Yummy and had a great ricotta filled crust. Super friendly servers with great recs

This place is amazing. I love their calzones, and I love their Star pizza. This place is a 5 Star pizza!

I went here with some family on a Sunday early evening. The service was great and the food was even better. I can see why it's a popular place to eat. We ordered the Star Luca, Caesar and Sabrina salads. I'd recommend getting one of their Star pizzas if it's your first time. It's uniquely shaped but perfect for eating. The ricotta is a nice addition and I love the spicy salami. The Caesar was my favorite of the two salads. But that's my go to salad at most restaurants. The Sabrina had a nice mix of veggies and avocado. It doesn't come with a dressing unless asked but we used the balsamic and olive oil at the table. Delish! There are plenty of tables and I like the open kitchen concept. Overall a great experience. I'll be back!

What a find for pizza in Dallas! Definitely one of the best spots I've tried in a long time. The story of the place is great and the servers will fill you in on it when you arrive. I learned some new things about visas. Kamile, our waitress was great. She was attentive, and patient with us as we were just enjoying a great meal with some wine and ended up being there for 3 ish hours! She steered us to the Star Luca, and it did not disappoint. We also tried the Mateo 2.0 which was good but the star Luca stole the show for us. I can't wait to come back and try some of the other pizzas as well as dessert. Happy hour with half price bottles and glasses is amazing!

Mister O1 This pizza was very special. So unique in the presentation style and the consumption style. The extraordinary style pizza was great. We ordered Star Luca as it was the award winning pie and this was for sure the right move. The pizza starts light and flavorful and as you make your way to the crust you get heat, then cook down with the ricotta stuffed pocket at the end. Genius! Never have I thought about the way I eat pizza from peak to crust, but this made me rethink that in a positive way. Amazing! The other pizza we had was unique and just okay. The Claudio was very soupy from the oil and Burrata that melted on the pizza, I wouldn't get this again and I don't recommend it. The Star Luca was fantastic - highly recommend. The service was also quick and the wait time was low on a Sunday afternoon.

Foodie Alert! If you're looking for a new authentic pizza spot in Dallas, look no more; make your way over to @mistero1pizza! Hands down, they have some of THE BEST Burrata that I've ever had. It's so fresh; they order it from Southern Italy! They also have a variety of pizzas to choose from. I chose the Hawaiana Star shape. And last but not least, the Nutella & Banana Calzone is the perfect dessert with the right amount of sweetness! Be sure to check them out and tell them Ms. Hope sent you! #MsHopeEats: Apps: Burrata & Italian Balsamic Glaze Prosciutto Di Parma Pizza: Hawaiana- Star Shaped Meat Lovers Dessert: Nutella & Banana Calzone

    Burrata delight

Came here on business. Food absolutely delicious. Service was Top Notch. Their Burrata Bar starter was a culinary delight... could have been my whole meal. Focaccia crisps were the perfect complement to the delicious balsamic bite. The star pizza was beautiful and delicious. Best pizza crust I have ever tasted. Wonderful experience.

The meatballs were very succulent, bathed in a tomato gravy that you'd want to lick every drop of from the plate. The focaccia, on the other hand, had a pillowy interior, and the crust almost seemed caramelized, with a slight sweetness that paired nicely with the tartness of the tomato gravy. For our main course, we ordered the Cacio e Pepe, Spicy Gemelli, Pesto Rigatoni, and Bolognese--all were phenomenal. Then, to cap things off, we had a dreamy gelato, with a cloud of whipped cream, topped with pistachio and drizzled with olive oil. Service: Great! What you'd expect from an upscale restaurant. Our waiter was attentive and very accommodating to our needs. Ambiance: Casual, modern. Parking: Ample parking. Located in a plaza.

I don't care for a lot of meat sometimes so I wouldn't have ordered it as my main but it really complimented the spicy gemelli - perhaps going halfsies would have been a nice option. Service was attentive and our dishes came out fast, we sat indoors beside the bar but the patio could have been a really nice option if you're a patio person. I typically am not. I have yet to find a Dallas Italian spot that I love more than my current no.1 back home (Donna's on Sunset in LA) but this meal was delish and I wouldn't rule out dining here again in the future.

But what really made the experience unforgettable was our server, Leigh. She went above and beyond in every way possible. She didn't just explain the menu- she told a story. From the background of the owner to the details of each dish, you could tell how much care and passion went into everything. She checked in at all the right moments, made sure we had everything we needed, and genuinely cared that we loved each bite. And the food... wow. It transported me to Italy. We started with the arugula salad with bresaola dressed with lemon - super refreshing - paired with the arancini. The bread dipped in the sauce was insane: perfectly crisp on the outside, with rich, flavorful rice inside. We shared the triangoli ravioli stuffed with ricotta and topped with mushroom, hazelnut, and parmesan, and it was incredible. The hazelnut added the perfect crunch and nutty depth. Then came the tagliatelle with wagyu bolognese--perfectly balanced, rich, and made even better with clearly homemade pasta. We finished savory dishes with the veal saltimbocca, and I swear it made me feel like I was sitting in Rome. The sauce was incredible, and the sage really brought everything together. But the true showstoppers? Dessert. My Italian grandma said the cannolo was the best she's ever had - and that says everything. Light, crisp, and not overly sweet. Then the chocolate dessert with olive oil and sea salt... I went in for two bites and somehow finished the entire thing without realizing. Easily the best chocolate dessert I've ever had. This place is out of this world. Would order all of these dishes again. In a city full of restaurants, this is one I will come back to every single time I'm in Dallas. Absolutely 5 stars. Brava.

I visited on a Wednesday evening with a comfortably moderate crowd; on busier nights you may want a reservation. I started with the fried calamari and a glass of wine. Presumably meaning wine, but we were considering cocktails and a bit confused by the question. He said "I'll come back when you're ready," and disappeared for the first of many long absences. From the beginning it felt like we were ruining his life. He was cheerless and curt and wouldn't make eye contact with anyone. It would be more understandable if the restaurant was super busy or understaffed. But this was Monday at 6 pm. We listed a birthday on the reservation, but it wasn't acknowledged. Why bother to ask if we are celebrating? We waited for empty plates and glasses to be cleared between courses. We waited a long time for him to return so we could order a second glass of wine. Even longer for the plates to be cleared and longer still for the opportunity to order dessert...a piece of cake for the birthday girl and two after dinner drinks...but the drinks weren't picked up from the bar when the cake was delivered, and only remembered when we asked for the check. We watched him pick them up (well after the cake was consumed) on his way to leave the bill. No mention that they had been overlooked, no thank you, no good night. This was our first time at Barsotti's and it will be our last. Aside from the awful service, we had issues with the food as well. The veal was pounded paper thin and fried hard resulting in a tough, chewy texture similar to dried beef or jerky. It was dry and overcooked on two different dishes. On a more positive note, we enjoyed the fried ravioli appetizer and the redfish was fine. While our waiter was largely MIA and unpleasant when he did show up, the bus boy/assistant was gracious and attentive. Maybe he was trying to compensate for his colleague. BTW, the offensive employee was in his late 40s to mid 50s with a slight build and salt and pepper hair.
