This is such a hidden gem. My daughter and I were out doing last minute Christmas shopping and decided to stop in for a quick coffee. I've been here a few times but it was my daughter's first. I enjoyed a Gingerbread latte and she had a sweet potato latte. Both were fantastic! The service was quick and they even validate parking! you get 2 hours free :D I love enjoying the view from the windows overlooking the river and can't wait to go back when it is warmer to sit outside and enjoy that same view. They offer their fresh roasted coffee and I'll be picking some of that up next time. We didn't order food this time, I had ordered it in the past and it was fantastic! We will definitely be back.

Neptune's Fury had friendly staff & we were quickly served our food & beverages. The pepperoni hot honey flat bread was pretty good, but left something to be desired. It seemed as though there were chunks of diced tomatoes mixed into the sauce on the flatbread which I didn't enjoy. It also could have used some sort of seasoning to make it more flavorful. The hot honey was nice. I also enjoyed the matcha. I do wish they had soy milk, but I still enjoyed the oat milk in the matcha. The restaurant had a wonderful ambiance we enjoyed dining outside! It had great views of the river!

Food was delicious and delivered with a smile. Nice place to sit and watch activities on the river or get work done. Open and a lot of seating. Overall nice experience.

First time in but I've heard great things. I was first impressed by the different combinations I could make with the drinks. Jeez Louise I didn't know what to get so I stuck to something I knew and got it VERY fast. Like.... I'm done ordering and my drink is up. My server and their coworker were both polite and had great energy for me to kinda relax and figure out what to get. Since the music was playing all my tracks I decided a very berry lemonade refresher and a chicken bacon ranch flatbread (mostly because I forgot it had just become lunch). It was fire. My girlfriend came and got the chicken pesto and a CLEMENTINE???? Passion fruit green tea? Like what the heck are you talking about???? Either way. Great place. Come get some. It looks sketch cuz it is in the dominion building but you can come around back or right at the side entrance near the Sheraton so don't miss out like I know I almost did

I loved spending time at this coffee shop! The view was gorgeous! I hadn't realized that they validate parking, so definitely take advantage of that! I am following the keto diet, so just had a black drip, but they offered a variety of summer drinks specials.

Very surprised by this find! I was confused when I approached the building. I've seen this building (Dominion Tower) many years, growing up in the area... never knowing that there is this gem inside of it. It's a very quaint spot. I went during a down time but I can see this place getting a little packed during busy work hours. It's a huge place with lots of seating. AND a killer view of the water. It's so peaceful!!! The person working there on the day I went was very welcoming. He fit the calm vibes of the shop. I truly felt at peace with even ordering. You know how sometimes it feels stressful because you aren't sure of what to order? I didn't feel that at all. lol. I ordered their Shipwreck and Seafoam lattes. The shipwreck was an iced brown sugar latte and so was the seafoam with an addition of matcha. Both were absolutely delicious. They weren't packed with sugar like a regular Starbucks drink would be. I could actually taste the coffee and it was top notch. So this is definitely a place for true coffee lovers that hate their coffee being overpowered by crazy sugary flavors. 10/10 would come back again!!!

My friends and I go to different cafes to crochet and this was our pick of the week. The bagelnuts are my favorite thing! Innovative and delicious. The location is under to the side of the Portsmouth/Norfolk Berkeley Bridge so if you're lucky you can watch the bridge go up and be thankful for the moment you're not on your way to work.

This is my second week in a row coming here! This time I got a pesto chicken flatbread and a clementine passionfruit iced tea. First of all, shout out to the employee that recommended the flatbread it was 10/10. They even let me put some balsamic glaze on it which just made it all the more good. The iced tea was fruity and refreshing. Inside has seating overlooking the water and it's a nice past time while drinking your drink.

What a beautiful coffee shop! Tucked away on the main floor of the Dominion Tower, this coffee shop is a lot bigger than it leads on to be from the entrance. I had seen them pop up on social media awhile back that they had opened and have been meaning to check it out. Today was that day as I had some errands to run in the area. The vibe inside is very modern, minimal, in bright and neutral tones. Love the small additions of artwork and live plants and. The service counter was very open with minimal eye level distractions. Another huge winning factor is the view! Wow! If you walk to the back, it has direct access to the walkway by the water and it's just so soothing and a welcomed changed from the hustle and bustle of busy city streets. It was such a gorgeous day out today too and it was just nice to see the shimmer on the water as I sipped my coffee. They have counter seating by the window, so you get front row seat to the view. If you want it even closer, then you can sit outside on their outdoor patio. I ordered a mocha latte and a veggie quiche. I could have used a bit more of chocolate, but other than that, the coffee was great. They warmed up the quiche and it was delish! It was served warm and had lots of veggies with the right egg consistency. I love me pie crusts and this one was flaky and just perfect. Take note: - they have wifi, just log on to their network, no password needed - there are outlets on the counters - other food offered that I could see: muffins and "bagel nutz" - 2 hour free parking in the Dominion Tower with purchase! Such a plus! They obviously get most of their traffic from the tenants in the building, but this is a hidden gem and if you want somewhere quiet to work, well, I've told you a secret, so keep it to yourself. You're welcome! Stay safe, Friends!

I ordered from the summer menu and tried the Cinnamon Drift Latte (Housemade Horchata and Espresso) and it was sooo good. I only got a 16 oz and wished I got the 20! My daughter ordered a signature drink, the Botanist (Strawberry puree, milk, and matcha) with oatmilk and it was great. I want to go back and give that a try next. Lastly my husband ordered a cold brew with cold foam and enjoyed that as well. He also ordered the coffee cake and I wish I wasn't gluten free because it looked and smelled amazing. He enjoyed that while we sat outside for a bit. The service was quick, the staff was so friendly and patient, and the drinks were delish! We will definitely be back when we are in Norfolk!!

Another customer in line even asked us if we've been before and told us about the fun latte flavors. My mom and I ordered a cold brew each, and it was my mom's favorite cold brew she's ever had! It was good, but it was interesting because near the end of our cups, we tried each others' drinks just for the sake of things, and they tasted different - mine tasted less coffee, whereas my mom's drink had a was stronger coffee flavor. Maybe they were from different batches? Nevertheless, cold brews were great and I would order again. Like other coffee roasters in the area, if you buy a bag of beans, you get a complimentary cold brew, coffee, latte (?)! I was tempted to purchase a bag but they are so popular and only had 1 type of bean left that I don't prefer - heh, I warned that I'm a coffee snob. Would definitely go again/ask family to purchase beans for us out of towners.

It operates out of Toast on weekdays and Perro Blanco on weekends. I ended up circling the block for a while trying to find it because I had no idea where it was located. Apparently they mention this on Instagram, but since I don't have Instagram, I only figured it out after the fact. I can't help but wonder how many potential customers end up at Mea Culpa Coffee, which is right behind Toast and much easier to identify as a coffee shop. Once I went inside Toast and asked, the cashier explained that I was already in the right place. Mystery solved. I ordered the iced blueberry lemon zest matcha latte with coconut milk, and it was genuinely delicious. The blueberry and lemon complemented the matcha really well, making for a refreshing drink that wasn't overly sweet. My only hesitation is the price. At $9, it felt a bit steep for a drink that appeared to be about 16 ounces and was filled almost entirely with ice. While I enjoyed it and would order it again, I'd have a hard time justifying the price on a regular basis. Overall, the quality of the drink was excellent, but I think Kobros could make the experience even better by making their location more obvious outside of Instagram and offering a little more value for the price.

I purchased a few to go. With COVA I specifically wanted to try their coffee. I was blown away upon arrival to see their outdoor space. It's huge and beautiful. On a weekday at 11 AM without school even out was busy! The counter service was helpful and friendly. I told the staff I wanted a black coffee and was directed to what beans were being offered. I opted for an Ethiopian pour over. The coffee comes in a large and priced competitive. It took a bit with being busy and a pour over, but boy was the wait worth it. Probably the best coffee I've had in any recent memory and I drink a lot of coffee. The space inside is compact, but they offer a side patio that's covered too! COVA is late to offering coffee, maybe 5 years or so. However, they are established with brewing award winning beer. I chatted with a female brewer a minute who was so sweet and invited me back for a glass. They also have a bakery case with offerings that looked good. So I need to return. So exciting to share such a gem in East Beach. Parking may be an issue, but off street neighborhood streets are available.
