NOTE: I worked with Moe Satari at CGM and purchased my countertops via Cabinets to Go…read more Moe was patient and effective resolving issues created after the wrong color tile was installed for the shower floor and the wrong kitchen sink was delivered to the job site (not CGM errors). Getting the sink originally specified would have delayed our project 6-8 weeks. The incorrect tile color was still great, but required a change to the countertop stone selection. Moe walked me through the CGM slab yard and helped find a countertop slab which worked with the tile in the kitchen and bath and was also an option available for Cabinets to Go clients. I love it even more than my original choice! Moe also worked with the fabrication team and CGM management to find a solution which allowed us to use the sink we had on hand vs. having to re-order. This saved time and money. When white caulk was used in the bath vs. the clear used in the kitchen, the look wasn't what I wanted given the charcoal gray stone chosen. With CGM, I experienced zero pushback and no excuses getting that error corrected promptly and properly. Too bad this approach isn't more typical of those in the construction trades! How a business addresses problems says so much about their integrity and customer service. I'd definitely use CGM for future countertop installations. It was a good experience all around.

Although they stated they "did not do the install," the installer was directly connected to and recommended through them. Three years later, the flooring is separating and clearly showing signs of being installed too tightly, a known installation issue. Instead of standing behind the product and the partnership they promoted, the company has taken zero responsibility and has pushed the issue entirely onto the subcontractor. This is an extremely unprofessional way to handle a major flooring failure, especially given the cost and the fact that customers are led to trust their installer partnerships. Being passed around rather than supported has been frustrating and disappointing. I would caution anyone purchasing flooring here to get everything in writing and be aware that accountability may disappear if problems arise later.

The result was just right and I have gotten compliments on the floors. Price was a little on the high side but worth being able to leave everything in their hands. The time estimate was for about 3 weeks but it actually took about 5, mostly because of the delay caused by having to change plans for the floors---no fault of the contractor's!

Stephen was very responsive, provided upfront pricing line by line, and was willing to be flexible with the timing of the project which was a tremendous help. The flooring was able to be put in quickly...there was a little hiccup due to an issue with additional subflooring that needed to be taken up but the additional cost to take it up was reasonable and Stephen communicated that upfront. The trim could not be completed same day due to the subfloor causing the floor depth to change but Stephen offered a temp stop gap solution, ordered new trim, and came back within a week to complete the work. Stephen was very good at communicating, sending me pictures to help me choose what kind of trim I wanted around the reception desk (I was not able to stay on premises). He also sent pictures and messaging as he encountered issues. Other contractors may have just done what they thought best but Stephen consulted with us prior to completing the work. We have had compliments on the flooring and we are happy with the result. Would recommend!
