I was excited to find that this new store open close to home. Located inside the Topanga Mall between Nordstrom and Neiman Marcus. The store is a good size but a line to purchase and taste quickly formed after I came in the store. The store seemd to be under staffed. The staff is always friendly and helpful. Its always fun to try the new coffee varieties if you have time when purchasing your capsules. Still my favorite coffee but this location does not seem to be run as well as others. read more

YAY! Welcome to the neighborhood! So many fancy gadgets in here. I am not so much into espresso but my brother is and I mainly came here to buy him a gift. There is a taste bar where you can sample drinks, non-alcoholic coffees beverages that is. The store is well organized & simple. I was kinda disappointed... no I was ANNOYED that they ran out of gift cards tho! After years of purchasing Nespresso Capsules through amazon, I now learned that here (Or on Nespresso website) you will get much better deals. You will pay $7.5 for each one, and you will get extra one if you buy 10 or more. Also you will save the delivery fee. Ok, now to the store: Nice people with great attitude and with really great customer service. The woman at the tasting bar was so damn rude. I had a few questions about the coffee they offered, nothing where she had to go and Google, but just few, and the looks she kept giving me and the FOUL ATTITUDE was enough to make me uninterested in this brand. When you work at a tasting bar, shouldn't you be somewhat polite, have some etiquette?!? She was rude to me and everyone else at the bar. Your whole job is to introduce people to your brand, flavors, etc. and when you HUFF AND TUTT AT POTENTIAL OR CURRENT CUSTOMERS, why are you even working at the tasting bar? If you are having a bad day, maybe ask your boss to switch positions or something, don't take it out on your customers. Sometimes your customers only have an hour or two to shop for whatever it is and if you're an ahole, and you're REPRESENTING a brand, what a LET DOWN when you hate your job so much you take down everyone else's experience with you. I went in a couple days for the first time and I was ignored the entire time. I was looking around waiting for someone to help and when I did get some help, the girl helping me, Lis, was quite cold to me and seemed VERY unhappy working. It didn't seem anyone was raising an eyebrow at her attitude or perhaps no one saw how she was acting. You know.. for someone who works in a place with easily accessible coffee, these employees sure appear to be frustrated and upset. I don't understand it. I was never acknowledged upon walking in and only approached after about 10 minutes of looking completely lost and confused. Certainly not the friendliest atmosphere. Tiana was so helpful! She was very patient with me as I came in with no knowledge of what Nepresso machine I wanted. She helped me pick one out and I love it! Goodbye old traditional coffee machine! Keep in mind, bring your patience, they have to go retrieve your purchase, their stock is not on shelves you pick and pay at the cashier. I witnessed a lot of impatient customers while I was there and the employees did acknowledge them as soon as they walked in with "we will be right with you" which I think is very good customer service. Service here is usually very prompt. It's always busy, but they get to you very quickly and take care of your needs. The manager is very nice. She spent a lot of time helping me trying to find the right machine, and even helped me find another location that had it in stock. Their selection is great, but a few times they have been out of stock of the more popular items. It's a nice store relative to some of the boutique ones inside Bloomingdale's. Also, I'm glad there's free parking, and EV charging downstairs. read more

The store clerk took advantage of my elderly father who purchased three boxes of pods. After he came home he opened the bag and one of the boxes was so damaged and visibly destroyed. This review is not for Nespresso espresso or coffee, but specifically for the poor service at the Nespresso store regarding a Nespresso machine we had purchased. We had purchased a $300 machine that crapped out after 2 years. Do we drink a lot of espresso, hell yes...but the damn thing should have lasted longer than 2 years. Some lady at the store basically told us we're out of luck because there is only a 1 yr warranty. She offered NOTHING but to give us a customer service number. What a complete joke. We had the machine with us...she wouldn't even throw it away for us. Ending up just tossing the machine out in a mall trash can. Either Nespresso's customer service has tanked or they hire people who just don't care. I will be following up with corporate about this specific store. read more

I came to the store because I wanted to buy 2-3 machines for Xmas but wanted to learn switching from Keurig to Nespresso but this girl (I believe she was off the clock employee or friends with the employees) kept interrupting our conversation and they were paying more attention to her. One of the employees made my coffee and then we walked away to help someone else so the other employee came a minute later to add milk to my coffee and put it in the machine and was so distracted that he gave my drink to the girl and she drank my drink didn't realized I had already tried it. Personally I wouldn't recommend this location unless you have a lot of spare time on your hands. The management organized the store in the way that's very convenient to them but extremely inconvenient to the customers. What they did is they split the store in two separate lines: there is one line if you want to taste coffee and another line if you want to buy it. So imagine a scenario where you come to buy something and then you want to try a new flavor. Nope sorry have to go stand in another line. Now you like it...and want to buy it - okay go back and stand in the first line. Want to try another flavor? Alright go back to the tasting line and then to the first line again. That was literally what happened to me. I had to stand in line three times... What? First to buy, then to taste the flavor I discovered while there, and 3rd again to buy the flavor. Oh and while they were making me the coffee to taste, something kept breaking. The guy had to go through three different frothers to get it done. I'm super upset at the inconsistency at this location. My hubby and I came in for our usual large purchase... we usually wait until they have a special/promotion where you buy 8 sleeves and can get 2 sleeves free. Anyway, today we went in and made a purchase of 100+ dollars, no problem, we like Nespresso and gladly support it. Anyway, we had a old sleeve of a flavor that was not to our liking, that was unopened. In the past, employees here would exchange this unopened sleeve with no issues. Today, perhaps we had a newbie employee, or one who didn't appreciate our business and declined the exchange. We weren't asking for our money back... a simple exchange. She said it had been past the 30 day mark. I get it. There are rules in place which we all must follow. However, if someone has done it in the past, why not continue to honor it for a good customer? Typically Nespresso Boutiques have great customer service. Always very appreciative of Lauren and Christian but the rest leaves much to desire. Don't know the name of the lady/associate with the accent (South African or British)) but she sure could use some training. Not just today (whenever I'm there), she has time to hold me up in between my order to "serve" samples to other while not offering me one. Not that she has to but just the fact that she's assisting a walk-in/non-buying person her best smile, time, and attention is aggravating. There was one employee in the shop yesterday and there was one customer ahead of me when I walked in so I got myself in line. This female employee decided to help another Caucasian girl who walked in and literally ignored that I was standing right there. After the staff employee was done with her, she continued to ignore me, did not bother looking at me or acknowledging that I was standing a few feet away from her waiting for assistance. No "I'll be right with you.", the basic customer service manners. This is not the Nespresso I know. I've been drinking Nespresso for years and have gone to other boutiques both in CA and in other States. Nespresso prides itself in the coffee experience and somehow there is a snobbiness in this particular boutique. A few employees here are great. I've also run into other rude employees at this location before. If you are close enough to Sherman Oaks, go to that location. Staff always great there. read more

I was at the counter trying to get a sample, then as this guy cut in front of me, the lady getting my coffee promptly stopped helping me and immediately started helping him. The only reason this got to me was because we were actually in there to buy an expensive machine, he wasn't! The staff had no energy or personality. The manager was not interactive and wasn't concerned about our experience. If I'm spending hundreds of dollars at your store I should have been properly assisted throughout this process. Love this store you can try a full cup of coffee for free when you visit and try an expresso as well . The store is located next to the Microsoft store in the mall. I bought this machine 1 year ago and love it ! They have lots of flavors too choose from and levels of intensity . The coffee comes out like a latte , it's whipped on top before you put cream in it . I bought the froth machine with it ,to whip my creamer . You can only order the coffee online or find boutiques that carry the pods . The coffee arrives fast when you order online . Just as several other reviews mentioned the attitude of the employee with the colored hair who also assisted me and it was like pulling teeth when I would ask for feedback on the pod flavors. I got very bleak 2 worded responses which was absolutely no help at all so I didn't even bother to finish asking my questions. As an elevated brand the customer service is extremely disappointing!
