I wouldn't recommend this place…read more I called ahead and asked if they accepted walk-ins. They said yes, so I came in. The woman at the front was nice and greeted me when I arrived. I asked for a pink and white pedicure and a full set, and they worked on my nails and toes at the same time. I'll start with the positive: the woman who did my toes was very sweet and genuinely nice. I didn't love how my toes turned out, and I had to ask her several times to fix things. After a while, I just gave up and accepted that they were going to look the way they looked. She was so kind, though, that I didn't want to make a bigger issue out of it. My experience with the woman doing my nails was completely different. She asked my name, I told her, and then asked hers. She told me "Mai." I thought, okay, I'll remember that. Throughout the appointment, she repeatedly got on her phone for long periods of time while doing my nails. One of the worst parts was when she was sealing the glue around my nails. It was burning me badly, and she was distracted and on her phone. I actually have a video of this. When I told her it was hurting, her response was essentially that it was my fault because my nails were too thin. I haven't had my nails done in about two months, so I know that wasn't the issue being made out to be. There was also an issue with the shape of my nails. Instead of simply helping me understand what I needed to ask for, she seemed annoyed that I didn't use the right terminology from the beginning. I'm not a nail technician. I shouldn't have to know their specific nail jargon to get a basic shape done correctly. The way it was communicated came across as rude and cold rather than helpful. The entire appointment felt uncomfortable. I was polite throughout the whole process and repeatedly said thank you and that I appreciated her when things were going well. But whenever I tried to speak up about something I didn't like or that was hurting me, I felt like it was immediately dismissed or made into my fault. And then there was the weird situation with the names. The woman doing my nails initially told me her name was Mai. Throughout the appointment, she kept referring to the woman doing my toes as Mai as well. I didn't think much of it because Mai is a common name. At the end, she asked my name again and then explained that the woman doing my toes was Katherine and that she was Mai. I said, "Ohhh, okay," and she told me Katherine was her mother-in-law. Then, almost immediately afterward, she said, "My name Mai, her name Katherine." I looked at her confused and asked, "So she's Mai or you're Mai?" She then said that SHE was Katherine and the woman doing my toes was Mai. At that point, I honestly didn't even know what was going on. It's a small thing, but the whole interaction was strange and added to an already uncomfortable experience. I also noticed that the woman doing my nails seemed to be directing the woman doing my toes and repeatedly asking her to do things that I felt she should have been doing herself. Despite doing less of my service, I actually felt much more comfortable with the woman doing my toes. I spent $150 here, and unfortunately, I don't feel like I got $150 worth of work. My nails are crooked, the shape wasn't what I asked for, and I'm unhappy with how both my nails and toes turned out. More importantly, I didn't feel comfortable or welcomed during the service. I don't normally leave bad reviews. In fact, this is the first review I've ever left that wasn't positive. I don't like working against someone's business or livelihood, and I genuinely try to give people the benefit of the doubt. But this experience was bad. From the constant phone use, to being told the pain was my fault, to the attitude when I tried to explain what I wanted, to the final result, I left feeling like I had wasted my time and money. I would not go back, and I wouldn't recommend this place. Save your $150 and go somewhere you'll actually feel comfortable and appreciated. I would give zero stars if I could.

If he's unavailable, I'm always happy to book with Theresa or Anna. Everyone here is incredibly talented, friendly, and welcoming. I usually get the Royal Pedicure ($95 with gel) or the Detox Pedicure ($115 with gel) whenever I'm in the mood for a longer, more relaxing massage. A regular gel manicure is $50, and nail art typically starts around $5 per nail, depending on the design. Chrome and cat-eye effects are an additional $25. A little tip for anyone with a similar situation: I had the ingrown nails on both of my big toes removed by a podiatrist, so my natural nails are much narrower now. My nail technicians simply use Gel-X or acrylic to widen and reshape my big toenails, and the results look so natural that you'd never know it isn't my real nail shape. I also want to give a shout-out to the front desk staff. The receptionists are always warm and welcoming when you arrive, and they'll check in throughout your appointment to see if you'd like any refreshments. They offer complimentary mocktails, coffee, water, soda, juice, and even some alcoholic beverages. Whenever I need a last-minute appointment, I just give them a quick call, and they're usually able to fit me in. The owners are also incredibly kind and generous. They frequently host giveaways and special events to show appreciation for their customers, which makes the experience feel even more special. I always leave feeling relaxed and well taken care of. One thing that has always stood out to me is how genuinely caring the staff is. If I have an appointment that runs late into the evening, they make sure I get to my car safely before locking up for the night. The shopping center has never made me feel unsafe, but you can never be too careful. That extra level of thoughtfulness and care is just one more reason why I've continued coming here for years.
