This is a Yelp update of my dental experience at Nevada Sun Dental: my initial exam and teeth cleaning in November of 2025 was good--no complaints. However In December, of 2025, things took a drastic turn. I needed 2 crowns on teeth #14 & #30. Tooth #14 had 2 seeded attempts; each crown cracked & chipped as soon as i bit down while i was still in the dentist's chair. Each cracked porcelain crown had to be sent back to the lab. Tooth #30 crown was seeded right before Christmas. By January 5th the center of the crown chipped and that has hole exposing my tooth root!!! Very painful and very difficult to clean. I can only imagine that this dentist must be using poor quality porcelain. I recently had a new dentist exam when i was eligible to transfer insurance plans. He was not impressed! He informed me that my crowns have a 5 yr warranty and thus, if i want my teeth done right, it'll come out of my pocket; the new insurance will not pay for new crowns. Hhmmmmm.....???? Switched to LV Sun Dental cause my last dentist was a nightmare. I was able to get a new patient appointment right away. Check-in was surprisingly quick and efficient. TV's in every room that you can choose what you watch to help distract from other background noises was pleasant. As soon as I sat down they went right to work! Thorough questions, X-rays right in my seat! Didn't even have to go to another room. My dentist Dr. Nahid was so kind and sincere! Wish I remembered the name of my dental assistant because she deserves a big shout out for my teeth cleaning! Took away build up that my other dentist office couldn't achieve. 9/26/2024 I went to sun dental for extractions For 3 teeth from Dr Nahid Mohammadi unfortunately the procedure did not happen as expected as she could not get the teeth out but cut and cracked all 3 sent me away and I went back later to get an appointment for a oral surgeon I supposedly got an appointment for the next day at 10:30 to fix the problem created only to find out that I had to driven all the way across town and that there was no such appointment so I called sun dental and they told me it was nothing else they could do. So now I sit here in pain with no solution. read more

This dentist office is amazing! The staff goes above and beyond to help you. The dentist really cares about you as a person. I have been taking my kids here for over a year and it feels like family. I have severe dental anxiety and had to have my teeth removed. They held my hand, talked to me every step, and made sure I stayed comfortable. These ladies are above board. WARNING!!! MEDICAID PATIENTS BEWARE of the discrimination with this place.. This one has been Long overdue for me to write out. This place is the worst most unprofessional, condescending Dental place I have ever had come into contact with. They definitely are doing something Fraudulent here, They Did a consultation one day and claimed to want to do all this work including to be referred to an oral surgeon for a decaying wisdom tooth, Doctor stated they were impacted so I would need to see an oral surgeon. The self proclaimed office manager Jean and the doctor herself claimed the insurance does not cover fills therefore you will need to cough up the Payment out of your own pocket. Mind you even if you show proof of Coverage and speak to multiple insurance agents stating The fills are covered, they fight tooth and nail to tell you the insurance is lying to you and the doctor herself stated she's in a lawsuit with Medicaid because of "their lies". The truth is these people do not know that they need to file an approval of procedures first before they actually do the procedure so that Medicaid will approve the coverage. Also from August 2nd and so on Back and forth with this place trying to get them to send the referral to Medicaid so that they can assign an oral surgeon, Jean kept extending the date of when she would send in the referral then says she doesn't know how to send it she'll have to wait for another office person to send it. Then as the days pass the agents with my insurance attempted multiple times to get them to send the referral in and still no budge, each person who answers the phone claimed waiting for another employee to send it and another stated they were waiting on Jean even after Jean admitted not knowing how to work the program nor has ever worked with medicaid programs. The self proclaimed office manager Jean, I say self proclaimed because the doctor stated over the phone she's not even her employee she is a volunteer fill in until she can acquire another office manager, also stated that since I was a Medicaid patient that she will not be booking an appointment for the fills for me and that they will no longer be taking in any New medicaid patients. So then why take me in the first place for a consultation if you all knew you will not be taking in any new Medicaid patients! Fast money for someone else's problem right? While on the phone with Jean she is one of the rudest unprofessional person I have come across in Las Vegas/Henderson, every time I called to get her to send the referral or ask when, she would rush me off the phone telling me (verbatim) "I am holding her behind from attending to the important patients that were coming in" I have proof of the text conversations from the office also proof from just this past Monday 08/21/23 someone stating they would have someone send in the referral. Oh you bet I let them know they would be receiving this Bad Yelp review. This whole time the phone calls frustration and time wasted trying to get them to send a referral to Medicaid after Medicaid explained to them how to send it in. They lied the whole time and never even attempted to send it. Mind you all while this is going on they try and give you these sob stories of office staff having family emergencies and the doctor having a loss in her family. How does that prevent you from sending a referral in but not from doing dental work and coming into work? Does not make any sense when sending in a referral only takes about a few seconds and none of them could do it... I suggest you all read the rest of the bad reviews on here. so sad that years later they sound similar to mine, obviously these are cons that continue happening to multiple people. read more

Ok pick this place.......... Why you may ask. Well they are kind, attentive, caring, thoughtful and super fun! I had to find a dentist that would take my ins. And I moved so I found them. They are one of my happy places. And when I say that I look forward be to going and seeing them. Don't get me wrong... I hate the sound of the drill and trust me I was there a lot and heard that a lot but since they are so awesome it makes it so much better They are caring real people! You do not get that a lot anymore. Why are a you waiting for.. call them. Oh yes and they have stayed late for me because we had to work. That's another thing you hardly ever get anymore. I've been to quite a few dentists in my nearly 50 years. I have to say Nahid is one of the most professional I've ever experienced. She not only has a great "chairside" manner which is very polite and very attuned to every sensitivity and anxiety a patient might feel, especially if they've come from other dentists and never experienced her gentle nature; but she also knows what she's doing. I've never had such a good smile. All those mercury fillings we got when we were younger have all been replaced with white fillings. I'm confident walking into any room and flashing a smile now. It's so important and she helped me gain that confidence with her expertise. Highly recommended. read more

Full dental care, crowns, and root canals all work is excellent and the staff is great too. I am just turning 73 and I have been going here for over 10 years. For me the best dental care in the Las Vegas Valley. Dr Mohammadi told me years ago that my blood pressure was high and erratic in 2018 and 2019. I finally had it checked out in October 2019 and ended up having to have a quadruple bypass. She is not only a fantastic Dentist but her diagnosis got me the treatment I needed. She is the BEST! Wonderful practice! My boyfriend had a minor toothache for a week that escalated and he woke up with excruciating pain. I called and they offered for us to come in immediately. The doctor sent us to a specialist the same day, which confirmed her initial concerns. They sent us back and the doctor took care of it. He's doing very well and the surgery was a great success. Dr Nahid Mohammadi is an angel sent from heaven! I had the worst anxiety going in from past experiences but Dr Nahid made me feel so comfortable. I went to this place today for an emergency root canal and although I had come in embarrassed about the condition of my teeth, they made me feel very comfortable and explained everything in detail. I signed up for the Sunbit Dental payment plan they recommended and was surprised that I got approved on the spot, in which I was able to avoid spending a bunch of money last minute. My tooth that was getting the root canal was in bad shape but Dr. Nahid was able to save it, in which I'm extremely grateful. I've switched over my primary Dentist to this office and am more than happy with my care today, and will be coming back to continue with my other dental needs. Ask about the Sunbit dental installment plan when you call to save yourself some upfront money if you need additional coverage! read more

Let's start with I AM TERRIFIED TO GO TO A DENTIST!!! Brought my kids here first, then my husband. They took really good care of my family and my daughter (she's 5yrs old) who is her first time to see a dentist warmed up so fast that she doesn't fear the dentist. She felt confident and comfortable holding my husband's hand when they were doing deep cleaning and had to numb his whole mouth! I faced my fear and got my deep cleaning too. Clinic is clean and staff are friendly. I don't have reservations with the dentist because they show extra personal touch with me and my family which I appreciate. Worst dentist i have ever encountered. Extremely rude and in my 60 plus years very unprofessional. They broke a part of my denture and denied it! I was not wearing it at all!.. The doctor Took no responsibility but was told it will be sent to repair. Makes no sense! The owner then denied to treat me and also denied fixing the crack. Wow! If I could give zero stars to this place I would. Hands-down the worst dental experience I've ever had in my whole entire life. I sat in the waiting room for three hours. When I was finally taken back this lady took literally under five minutes to clean my teeth and they still feel like crap. My son had the very same experience. Our appointments were at the same time. We came out and looked at each other and didn't have to say a word. I would never advise a loved one to go here ever. I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Mohammadi and all of her staff. They give a whole new meaning to "going to the dentist". Everyone in the office is so kind and welcoming. I was scared to go see a dentist after years of avoiding it, afraid of judgement and being scolded for letting my teeth go for so long.....which I did. The first time I walked into the office I was terrified, but seriously I felt better instantly. The office girls talked to me like I was a real person and made me feel calm and comfortable. Every x-ray tech and assistant was so nice and made me feel normal even though my teeth were a mess. Dr Mohammadi is amazing, she got right down to business and didn't sugar coat anything, but she goes the extra mile and I feel like she genuinely cares.
